Went to O'Reilly Auto Parts this morning to purchase license plate frames and windshield wiper blades. Leo assisted me and he is the greatest. He helped me choose the correct wiper blades for my vehicle and installed them for me. My husband is the person that usually goes to O'Reilly's but with such great service and care I'll being going there myself when need be. Thank you Leo!

I have been coming here for years, but recently I feel this location takes special care in their customers. Great selection of well-stocked parksI wanted to give huge props to William and Michael, who time and time again have been a tremendous help. They diagnosed my car 3-4 separate times, all at my request. They also caught some odd behavior during the test which helped me find the source of my issues.I am very particular about my car. In all my visits, both Michael and Wiliam were never condescending and always happy to share their expertise with any of my questions, simple or complex. I will always come to this location whenever convenient and I highly recommend you do the same.

I have been going to this location for auto parts before oreilly owned it. Staff have always been nice. Yesterday A young sales associate was inpatient and dismissive. I know enough about cars to ask questions and this guy was arrogant and dismissive. I like to support our local businesses but I just went home and ordered what I needed on amazonin response to your comment... My problem is not that you don't have parts that I want to buy but that your staff member attempted to make me feel like I was not competent. If you want to reach your goals of high service he needs training about how to listen and be patient with customers.

Came here again on 7/6/22 and William was very helpful. Tested my battery and alternator and got me back on the road within 15 minutes. In and out. Great service

Sufficient inventory and generally a credible source of technical input. I do well with it as supplementary to previous researching. They've always pushed me to the better side of any fence. Which really counts actually.

Had a terrible and condescending customer service experience at a different location in San Rafael. This one was heads and tails above the other. Friendly staff, helpful, and a clean store. Will definitely go back again

Well don t work on cars much any but a good place to drop by for quick pick up of wash wax can of spare tire for traveling vacation. Got lots of Rv stuff last minute and good service

Only entrance to this store is from D street entrance. Advised not to come in from 2nd street as it s the exit ramp (not entrance ramp).And best to enter from Northbound D street as if you try to enter from Southbound D street, you will sure to block the through traffic that will back up horribly in the intersection.This place was very busy at 4-5 pm that no parking spaces were left.I recommend to shop in the morning or early afternoon.2nd Street & D street get very congested in the afternoon and will be difficult to enter & exit the parking lot.

I just have to give a shout out to Michael at the store in San Rafael, CA off D and 2nd street!!! He was super nice and changed both my headlights in the dark parking lot while I watched and asked a bunch of questions lol if there was a 100/100 for customer service and being super knowledgeable I would rate it. Thanks again, I appreciate the quick fix so I can get home safely in the dark! :)

Most of the employees here are supremely helpful people who know what they are talking about. Just remember, it's an auto part store. Not a mechanic! If You want someone to diagnose the strange noise under the hood, go spend the money. These folks are there to help you find what you need. You have to know your need!There is only one person I would recommend avoiding. He is a shorter latino gentleman who seemingly never smiles. He will not budge an inch to help. Otherwise it is a great place with awesome people!

I don't love O'Reilly's but this location is exceptional and has excellent customer service from people who have worked there awhile and know what they are doing. I am my own mechanic and shop here when I need oil change supplies and other supplies for basic maintenance. They have testing equipment to test alternator and starter, etc..

Not enough auto parts stores in Marin. These guys are ... Pretty good. They mostly know there stuff... Make sure you confirm visually yourself the pricing when ordering say ... 4 rotors. I was given a price for "front" and a price for "back." I asked the cashier to clarify if the price for "front" and or "back," included both front rotors and or both back rotors. Cashier confirmed .... Well, when i started shopping i realized it did not in fact. Which is actually a small slip but if that makes me leary of their ability to read or understand their software screen and ifbthat... What else? Other than that, the store is usually stocked and if not can have parts there by next day. Good location with easy parking. Nice staff.

not sure if he was just having a bad day but the employee michael who helped me seemed bothered that i asked him to check on a product in stock. gave short one word answers, his tone made me feel like i was wasting his time. next time i ll go to a different location.

Web site says they deliver. I called them to check, because my car battery is dead and my car is not in their parking lot. Answer was NO.

I do not care how many times I've gone into O'Reilly's on 2nd Street in San Rafael, if one of two young guys helps me, they have sold me the wrong part everytime! Then when you bring it back, they always say it's Your Fault! And they refuse to give back your money! I only go in when the older guys are there, at least they know something about mechanics, and don't pretend to know everything like those two Idiots think they know!

I went in for transmission fluid since my transmission seemed like it was shifting hard and the light had just turned on. One of the girls asked if I needed help, and I declined since I already had the transmission fluid and coolant, I was just trying to finalize my decision on a fuel system cleaner for a rough idle. I think I chose the right one for my problem when she came around and asked again. I looked up as I described the idle issue (as she coincidentally grabbed three bottles of the one I had chosen), she said it s probably from bad gas, I would get the one you ve chosen. Made me feel more confident about my choice. I went outside, added a little to the oil, some to the gas, started the car to add my transmission fluid... and it was already full. However, it was immediately running smoother! Drove across the street, filled up the gas and it was smooth sailing from there! I wish I got her name, but I hope this gets to her. Thanks girl!

Very helpful staff. I was able to get in and out with a headlight change in 10 minutes. Jose checked to make sure I was getting the right part and installed it in no time.

Very helpful. Stock was low on sockets, so we were forced to buy a set instead of the socket we needed. Otherwise, nice people and place.

Good service but loads of incorrectly stocked parts, probably would be a better use of employees time to have them in the isles putting the products in the correct places than BS'NG behind the counter.
