I was genuinely hoping the reviews for this place were just a bunch of unrealistic Karens , however, every single bad review left for this place seems to be extremely accurate. Very unprofessional, don t even know how to fill out a credit app., condescending, won t give you the time of day, no room for negotiation, didn t know much about the vehicle. So please don t go here thinking they re willing to work with you, you will waste your time. I get it I was in sales- You HAVE to make money, but they will not even run your credit or give you an exact number on payments without you buying it for full asking price. Essentially, refusing to run my credit. period. ( I m not sure they knew how to). When I flat asked for them to run it and get me a number on monthly payments, they quite literally would not. They took all my information including my social security and then wouldn t even process the application. They then said they could take it to auction and sell it for more than the $1,500 less than asking, then why didn t they? If their profit margins are so slim? They continued to compare this heavily used, 4 year old, 35k miles over the max of what it should be at for its age, vehicle to a BRAND NEW one. Vehicle had numerous aesthetic issues even though they were not listed on ad. Proceeded to tell us they could fix all that $300-$400 in house with a cracked windshield, gashed rims (all 4), chips/scratches in paint. I would sure like to know the cheap mechanic/paint shop doing that work lol. Not to mention the unfixed recall. Got quoted for the same model car, brand new (2024) 0% down w/ CA sales tax, interest, and fees included for 2.5 times the price of this used vehicle and they were telling me the payments that weren t even defined by months or a plan once while we were there (that they wouldn t even plug in the computer) would be as much as the brand new, 0 mile vehicle with the 15-20% down on this used one. Pleaseeee you are not fooling anyone. People please do your research before going to a joke of a dealership like this. I literally never write reviews, but found this to be something that everyone potentially buying a car here should know before wasting their time. The stupidity that this dealership radiates is beyond belief. One guy whom didn t even take the time to introduce himself flat out said we re not here to earn your business what?? Someone must ve never learned customer service or basic dealership etiquette. Not to mention, we called in 2 hrs in advance they said they d have the vehicle pulled out, they followed up when we were 20 minutes out- said they would pull it out, sure enough when we got there it was not pulled up or cleaned up. This doesn t mean much to us in itself, it s just the fact you tell someone you re going to do something for them and they don t follow through. Fairness & honesty is all one can ask for as a customer and they could not even provide that. Best of luck.

We had been car shopping ALL day trying to find the right car for the right price and this was one of the last stops on our list (after 8 hours of shopping and driving 150 miles). Most of the dealers in the Bay wouldn t compromise on price for a used Honda Odyssey Touring and we were starting to think we were going to go home empty handed. We had gone to most of the big named dealers from Tracy up through San Jose, San Francisco and ended up in San Rafael.Even though the lot is small, it s definitely worth a shot. This dealer had some really nice cars! They worked with us not only on price but on even sending us headphones to go with our cars DVD player. Masood was our sales manager and he did amazing job! My husband can be a little bit of a difficult negotiator and Masood worked with him every step of the way. He was vey professional, helpful and accommodating. In the end we bought a beautiful Honda Odyssey Touring and left the dealership very happy with our purchase. We ve already taken the car on a small road trip and it s runs amazing! It s the perfect car for our large family.I d recommend this little dealership to anyone looking for vehicle. It was definitely worth the drive.

I had the absolute worst car buying experience here. Upon receipt of my vehicle it was absolutely filthy. Melted crayons and glitter all over the back seats and cargo area and a layer of unidentifiable grime over every inch of the interior. I was promised to be set up with a detailing appointment (and a full tank of gas) which never happened though I contacted my salesman multiple times to schedule. I moved out of state a month after purchasing the vehicle and after contacting the dealership to request compensation I was offered $100 which will certainly not cover all of the detail work which needed to be taken care of. There are scratches all over on the paint and the rear bumper was very obviously hit and scratched up a lot. I have been going back and forth with them for nearly two months and have not received the $100 check though I provided my new mailing address twice. I was also told I would be given a second key and this has not happened either they have flat out refused to take care of that and I haven t heard from them in weeks. Bottom line is never trust a used car salesman even if he does claim to be a man of god. Update - 06/28/2022 Never saw a check.

Bought a 2007 370z here a couple years ago.1. Brakes and rotors were very worn down and needed to be replaced a month after purchase.2. The tires were worn down but they painted the side wall to make it look like the tire was great. Needed to replace all 4 tires as well a month after purchase.3. The cruise control on my car didn t work, they never mentioned and when I tried to tell them they said car was sold as is 4. These guys got me a 13% APR due to a low credit score and would absolutely not budge on the price.5. Avoid these scammers at all costs.

Don did not follow up on our requests for the other keys we needed for the car and roof rack. Blew us off after we bought the vehicle.

We bought a vehicle there last year and was very happy with the service. The sales person, Omid, was very helpful in making sure the vehicle would suit our needs. he answered our questions and when he didn't know the answer he looked it up rather than guessing. The financing was done quickly and easily with my credit union and Omid even spotted the hybrid discount offered by Redwood Credit Union. I strongly recommend Marin Imports.

Bought a car with a broken radio. They said it would be fixed.Chris told us a NEW radio module would be placed in the car, but they instead bought a used and scratched up one from eBay (which I saw are worth about $30) and slapped it on. In ADDITION to this, the aux port of this used radio was broken, and I had to go through hell dealing with Omid to get reimbursed for a new aux port which I had to buy and install myself.When I bought the car, the center module (which is the radio piece) was in very nice condition. But since they were not willing to replace the radio with one in similar condition, but instead chose the cheap way out, I now have a scratched up middle section. Keep in mind that this middle section is about 1.5 feet wide and 1.5 feet tall. It's not just a small scratched up radio section that can go unnoticed. But rather, the entire middle chunk of my car's dashboard is scratched up and significantly worse than that of the one I originally bought.On top of this, Yunuss was dishonest about the terms of the warranty, which we later found out.Why is it so hard to make progress with these guys? They avoid phone calls and don't get back to you, after promising that they will.

Bought a 335I BMW from them and I decided to try to negotiate the price of the car. We ended with not lowering the price however, In return they would fix things with the engine that he & my husband ( who is a mechanic ) talked about for free. When my husband was fixing some things with my car & changing the oil he noticed they had broken a air duct going to the throttle body. Also, they didn t tell us that the car had a recall & legally they have to tell you of any recalls on the car. Those issues caused them 2 stars.

Omid sold me a Honda Accord that I am very happy with at a reasonable price, it came with a warranty so it ended up being a decent deal. They seem to have more integrity than most big name dealers. 5 stars.

This was a great dealership and my salesmen who helped me, OMID, was the absolute best person to help me make my decision on my car. He helped me get the car I wanted, gave me the best deal possible and gave me so much information about the car I wanted. Everyone was very nice but he went above and beyond to give me the best experience and to satisfy my every need throughout the entire process, he doesn t push the sale on you and won t make a promis he can t keep. I can t say anything else other then a great experience here, don t ASK, but REQUEST for Omid, promise you that you won t have a better experience then with this man right here!

I had a very bad experience with these guys. They sold me a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee that they claimed was "safety checked". Within a few days I was spending $600 on brakes and rotors. I was also informed by my mechanic how unsafe my tires were. When I contacted Barry at Marin Imports, he refused to make good on my loss. The "As Is" clause should not apply to items that were part of a safety check. DO NOT BUY from Marin Imports!!

I ve had it with this place. I bought a car from Marin Imports in March 2018 and, within a week, noticed they had plugged the side wall of a new set of tires (to which I had to replace all four tires), learned the front brakes were at 2 and 3 mm so I had to replace both the front brakes and rotors on the car. I tried for weeks to get in touch with Marin Imports by phone and email and got absolutely no response until my final call where someone told me they would call me right back and see if they could help offset the expense which never happened. $2500 and 4 months later, I am now staring a $4200 bill in the face for leaking motor mounts, leaking shock absorbers and a failing fuel tank door! Marin Imports did NOT disclose any of the dealership service records (only a carfax) and recommendations from the previous owner and I feel strongly that not only did the owner dog the car, but either employees or test drivers through the dealership did the same during the 9 months Marin Imports had it in their possession (online it said there were 49K miles and when I bought it there were over 51K). I feel they withheld information that was critical about either recommended service or service that needed immediate attention on the vehicle before I purchased it and I have, literally, been paying the price for it ever since. I ve barely put 2,000 miles on the car in 4 months and know for a fact I don t drive it like I stole it, so this has absolutely been no fault of my own these issues have happened (and was told as much by the manufacturing dealership where it is being serviced). I recommend to NEVER buy anything from these guys unless you have a real mechanic inspect it head to toe and even then I would be leery because you may be like me: Ignored if there are real problems that arise from the purchase!

Omid is the best salesman I've dealt with. He is honest and has followed thru on multiple occasions. If you're buying a newish used car, go here first. They're rates were really competitive as well.

Stopped in to check out a truck, the staff was friendly as soon as you walked in the door. I met with Omid one of the salesmen, he was pretty cool and informative. I'd definitely go back to them for vehicle needs in the future.

sold me a car that had multiple problems. when i asked for them to fix cause it was under warrenty they didnt want to cause it would be more to fix then they wanted to pay. they took care of the cheap and inexpensive things but i own a car that has problems and to expensive for me to fix. buyer beware
