These guys are the real deal. I brought them a 997.2 C2S for a pre purchase inspection and they were extremely thorough + attentive and even let me poke around the car while it was in the shop. One way you know you re in a great shop is when you see them working on their own cars, like true enthusiasts. I would not hesitate to bring my car here or buy a car from them, unfortunately I do not live in CA and can t make them my primary indy.

My review is long overdue, but this place deserves more than 5 stars! I've been bringing my Cayenne S to Hi-Tec for 7 years. These guys are everything you want in a mechanic -- trustworthy, honest, reliable and professional. The entire crew (Deven, Brad, Julian) knows and understands Porsches inside/out. They are friendly and absolutely great people to work with. Don't go anywhere else to get your Porsche serviced!

I took my new to me 2001 boxster for a post-purchase inspection after driving up from LA.Part of this inspection includes battery, "scan," "hold down," and "cables." See my attached photos for proof.The next drive after inspection my car was acting funny electronically and stopped completely while at a red light. Complete death. I had to push it aside and wait hours for a jump to pop the frunk.I was extremely disappointed to find that the only problem was that the battery negative cable terminal had slipped off. Hi Tec did NOT reattach the clamp properly or failed to tighten it during their inspection. This kind of super simple problem could have been prevented with some attention to detail--which is what I thought I was paying for.I am disappointed by the level of attention to detail they displayed with my P car and I would recommend that others avoid this shop. I hope Hi Tec can do better work in the future for others or make it up to me personally.

Great shop for a Porsche of any vintage. Fun to go over just to see what is parked in the lot. First rate service, experienced techs, clean shop, convenient location, straight-up and trustworthy. What more could you want in a Porsche mechanic?

Very professional people here. Compounded years of knowledge of two owners @ 70 years plus. Admin staff individualuals are very helpful, pleasant & very efficient. Trustworthly & competent repair work is above all other Porsche garages...

I recently purchased my panamera hybrid 2019 and when it came time for service I was ready to sell the car because no one told me how expensive it would be. These guys came in at half the price of what the dealership offers. They were very friendly and very helpful. I called Hi-Tec for a last minute PPI, and I was absolutely blown away by their customer service and communication. Julian was my primary contact, and it s clear he cares very much about Porsches and his customers. I wish I didn t live a couple states away, these guys would be my go to without question. If you live near this shop and have a high performance car, you are lucky!

If you own a Porsche of any kind, this is the best place in the world to get outstanding technical help for your beloved car. I have a 356A of 1955 vintage and the Hi-Tec team has always taken exceptional care and delivered outstanding service. They can handle delicate and complex technical problems, as well as standard maintenance. They are the best! You can t go wrong.

When buying my car I researched mechanics in the area prior and I went with the Porsche in part because of this business. They have been incredible, kind, fair, polite and expedient. Even with a major repair it was done that day. Do not hesitate and while maintenance and repair on a Porsche is not inexpensive they are very fair. I can't wait to bring in my Twin Turbo when I get one :)

There is a comforting peace of mind and trust knowing HiTec is taking care of my Porsche. With issues I want, need and don t know about (yet), Devon, Dana and Brad are very precise and enthusiastic; never a sour word or complaint. There is a sense they re doing the right thing and fairly.Judging by the cars in the shop, young and old rare and common, many people will agree they know Porsche only too well. Also it s a cool place to hang out as evidenced by other Porsche enthusiasts around!Be confident they will do the right thing for you and your car!

Another Excellent Visit to Hi-Tech! They have been serving me & my Audi for 4 years now... Spectacular service & they don t try to sell you things that you don t need. Just Honest, Highly Skilled & Responsible Service. Owner is readily available to speak with about anything... Brad & Team are always kind & considerate of my time & schedule. Crazy to go anywhere else

Hi-Tec is the ONLY shop that has seen my 993 since I bought it 100,000 miles ago. They did the Post Purchase Inspection and Repair (whoops!) and have kept me very happy ever since. Great communication, prompt service and complete attention to detail. If there are options they tell me and they even advise when aftermarket is better (good bye plastic 993 Porsche valve covers!) Thanks guys!

One of the most honest, legit and trust worthy places to take your Porsche. Been taking my Cayenne TT there for several years and even when things take longer than expected I get a full explanation. The car won't leave the shop unless Hi-Tec are 100% happy with it. More than anything its an enthusiasts shop so you'll always see killer cars being worked on.

Hi-Tec has serviced and repaired my 1980 911SC for more than 10 years. What they don't know about the Porsche auto does not need to be known.Their tech knowledge and customer service are tops. The best.

Purchased a 1984, 911 Carrera and took delivery on 5/7/2019. Drove the car to our home here in La Jolla, California about an eight hour , 500 mile trip. Did not have any problems at all except for the factory alarm key that could not be found- thank God as I purchased the car site unseen. Also, I was able to find an alarm key so no more factory alarm key issues.Fast forward to 8/3/2019 and still no problems. This is the place to purchase a Porsche - their pre purchase inspections are thorough. The wire transfer, transfer of ownership papers all went smoothly. Also, you can talk to Devon (owner), Brad (service manager), Julian and Greg if you have any questions prior to purchase. I would not hesitate to purchase another Porsche from these guys in the future.Also, their service bays were full of older(air cooled) and newer Porsches (water cooled). This place knows Porsches.

The guys at Hi-Tec are great; experts at Porsches, hands down the best in Marin. Recently I had a problem with my convertible top in the middle of a very busy day - I rolled in, unannounced and they managed to fix me up and get me on my way, even though they were fully booked. I appreciate them going the extra mile (and more) thats why I keep coming back. Take your Porsche here; you will be happy :)

These guys are great mechanics and always tell me exactly what my cars needs.My Porsche is a 1985 Targa, so there is a lot of wear and some tear.They give me options on how to maintain the car and will help me prioitize maintenance to fit my budget.This is a great shop!

The real deal. Not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for; which is top-notch knowledge and professionalism. Nice, clean, organized shop. Lots of awesome Porsche to drool over. It's a busy place (for good reason) so be patient. Their diagnoses are spot-on, eliminating those frustrating guessing games other shops seem prone to. The customer service (rides to and from) is really appreciated.

since i moved back to the bay area seven years ago hi-tec automotive have been a fantastic shop for service and repairs of my 1997 993. they are fair and extremely knowledgeable and strive to give an excellent customer experience. they have never been too busy to help with little issues pretty much on the spot and get larger jobs done promptly and correctly. the confidence and peace of mind are priceless.

It's a delight to work with such a professional group. They have been servicing my Audi Allroad and 356 to my complete satisfaction. They doexcellent work, are responsive and concerned that a customer receivesan understandable explanation of why repairs are necessary. They seemcompetitive in pricing and stand behind their work. Couldn't feel morecomfortable in recommending Hi-Tec.

Hi Tec is more than a Porsche maintenance shop. Their personell are knowledgeable, professional, timely and caring about Porsches and their owners. Hi Tec cared for my 2004 C4S for many years. I had no problems, but many questions which were always answered. At the fateful time when I was to sell my C4S, the sales department took over and provided the same high quality service. If you own a Porsche and care about its "health" I highly recommend you drop in to Hi Tec and chat with them about your Porsche's future.

Hi-Tec automotive is by far the best Porsche service in the Bay area! They are professional, friendly, and precise in everything that my Porsche needs! Brad is "the man" that takes GREAT care of my car!!!!

Awesome people and shop. Deven, Brad and their team of experts are very knowledgeable and are people service oriented. I have been bringing my 07 Carrera S to them with excellent results every time. They treat my car with the outmost care as if it s their own.

I've purchased three cars from them, and have been a customer for over five years. It is such a pleasure to know that trained professionals will be taking care of your car at Hi-Tec, and that it will be done right. They are all very personable and kind. Well, ok, one is very focused on what ever he is working on, so I just usually get a nod, but the rest are personable and kind. And cool come to think of it!

This shop has been consistently excellent since I started with them about two years ago. I'm also treated well and my car runs the way it should! Don't think twice, this is the shop if you have a Porsche.

I bought my teenaged daughter a used Audi and was particularly concerned that the car be well maintained and safe. Hi-Tec more than met my expectations for responsiveness, professionalism and technical knowledge of the Audi and its needs for maintainance. I highly recommend them.

I have been taking my '01 Boxster S to Brad and co. for a few years. I bought it used and the car had quite a few issues that have been resolved expertly by Hi-Tec. I strive to keep my Boxster at 100% and they seem to get that. Thanks!
