I was so happy to discover this tire shop. It was recommended by a good friend. After making a few calls, I realized they were in fact hundreds of dollars cheaper for brakes than the other shops. When my friend and I dropped his car off in the morning they were wonderful. My friend needed brakes and new bearings. He said his car felt brand new when they were done. I'm going back for tires. Great shop!

This is my GT.... Go to tire place. The pop and son shop is friendly, competitive in pricing vs the tire rack (don't pretend you don't see how cheap you can get some tires and then call up a local shop to compare) and their service is top notch... Or is it top shelf? Ha! Both! Get out the Blanton's! They also repair tires for a very fair price if you just have a nail or screw that slowed you down on the 101. Ask for Chris J or his pops.

I was skeptical of another tire company's assessment so went to Chris at H&J who not only gave me some honest advice and saved me a substantial cost but also gave me a much more thorough explanation of the situation. Don't usually write reviews but was compelled to given how much time, money and effort Chris saved me.

I could never praise this business enough. Not only are they a multi-generational family owned local business, but they offer unparalleled service for as good or even better pricing than the corporate chain-gang stores. Chris and his fam value relationships and have even helped me problem solve an issue over the phone knowing that I was too far to bring the vehicle in to their shop.Great tires too!

Five stars all around. Work was completed VERY quickly. Owners incredibly helpful. Was referred here by my mechanic, who we've known for a decade. Most important is the tires I bought qualified for a 120$ rebate, but I guess I didn't qualify because of it being a few days late or the source of the tires, yet they said they'd fight for me and try and get it to go through anyway. Well, they did it, and I got the rebate card as well. So yeah, no complaints at all.

I was a first-time customer to H&J tire. Chris handled my TPMS issue with great speed and courtesy. Thank you, I will be returning soon for a rear brake job. I no longer an up to doing my own repairs, and so am glad to have found H&J.

Great customer service from this shop. They even filled out the rebate form for the set of tires I bought and sent it to the manufacturer. I got a good set of tires at a very competitive price. Way better experience than the tires shOp down the road!

Such a great find! I had a nail in my tire and they fixed it quickly. I ll definitely come here again. Good vibes, family owned and their staff has been there for twenty years.

I had a really pleasant experience with Chris. I really felt like I was listened to and understood of what my truck needed. I did not feel pressured at anytime. And they were extremely quick! Chris had 3 of his guys work on my truck at once to get the job done fast. A full change of four tires and an alignment, all done with great precision. Just from that experience, H&J has my loyalty. It will now be my only tire and alignment shop I go to and recommend people to go.Thank you guys,Mauricio

I've been to a lot of places and don't live close to this one. That said, this is where i drive about 30 miles out of my way for tires and brakes. They are helpful, straightforward and reasonably priced. I never felt like I was being set up over overcharged. In fact, this shop really rose to the challenge when I was in a bind and saved my family's vacation when we ran into trouble. Great folks here.Edit: Needed new tires for the car. The got me in next day and gave me a great price on the tires I wanted. One price for everything I needed. Installation, disposal, valve stems all included. No surprises. Chris and the guys are still the best.

Bad experience I had with the owner. I went to ask if they could check one of my tire because it was leaking air after rotation they did, the guy with long hair was very rude It made me feel like I was asking for something for free, I always pay them when my tires had nails, others places they fix flats for free since a bought the tires with them, I went with them because somebody recommend them, but for now on I will never go back. It looks like the guy was having a bad day and it took out with the customers.

I have been going to H & J Tire for years. If you have a good experience with a merchant and they treat you well, I believe in returning. Dennis and his son Chris are professional, responsive and obliging. My mechanic had indicated to me that my tires were approaching replacement time. I stopped by H & J for them to check. Dennis did that, said that it was indeed time for a new set and made an appointment later the same day. I showed up and sat in the waiting room for an hour while the job was done. There is also a cafe next door if that's yourchoice. Dennis is a dog-lover, so your pooch is welcome.

One of the best experiences I've ever had at a tire store. Absolutely no "upselling" or trying to sell me things I didn't need. Told me I only needed two tires (rather than four), I didn't need an alignment, and that brake pads were still in very good shape. Suggested the right level of tire for I wanted, too. (Good, but not premium.) Good prices (better than Costco), and work was done earlier than promised. (Took less than 30 minutes. Good coffee shop next door, too!) I will definitely go back.

Thought I was dreaming. When I got a flat, my husband recommended H&J. They took me right away, assessed the problem, can't save the patient, needs a new tire, (I saw that coming), but, they gave me alternatives and choices. I made the choice, opened a magazine, maybe flipped through a few pages and articles, and DONE!! That was so quick I could believe it. Very fair price too. I highly recommend these people.

Family run business that is always timely, professional and very honest. I trust these guys implicitly and get out much faster and for much less than I would at the dealership. They are also very friendly to my dogs who I often have with me. I am happy to do business with Chris and his dad! Thank you for all the help H&J!

I took my truck in after the brakes started squealing. 15 minutes later H and J calls me up to say that my brake pads are actually in great shape, they don't need to be replaced, and I can come and grab the truck with no charge. Apparently my mechanic had thrown in brake pads when I'd gotten a bunch of work done a few months ago. H and J could have easily replaced my pads anyway and charged me for the service but they didn't. Chris at the counter was super polite and knowledgeable. This is a great shop and I will be taking both my company vehicles and my personal cars here from now on. I recommend you do too.

Great price and service! I purchased a set of tires and had a nail in one a few months later. They were booked but made time for me in an hour so that I would have peace of mind. So thankful!

I highly recommend H & J Tire! I got a flat tire last night and I called them this morning to see if they could help me out on such short notice. After quickly assessing the damage to the old tire, they had me in and out with a new one in only 20 minutes. The service was great and the price was very reasonable.

Best automotive service I've received, ever! Chris went beyond expectations! I purchased a car in San Francisco that needed new tires before I could drive it back. Within 24 hours of me making a phone call, my new car had tires that I wanted on and I was able to hit the road immediately! My only regret is that I can't use him again in the future since I live in Georgia!

After using every other tire shop in town over a period of 20 years or so, finally settled in comfortably with Chris and Dennis. Only place I go for the past decade, see no reason to go anywhere else. Fair, friendly and fun!

I have used H&J Tire over the years. I use Michelin tires exclusively and the service here is impeccably right on! Family operated, they give you the utmost attention and never steer your wrong.

We are having a long trip from Vancouver and we had a flat tyre just after we left gold gate bridge. In such a bad situation, we are so lucky to find this tyre store. Dennis was so helpful and kindness, spent his business time trying to get an alternative tyre for me and minimizing the influence of my long trip. Second morning I got my new tyre that Dennis ordered from Reno and I was so surprised by the final price. It was way more cheap than I expected.Now we finished our two weeks trip in the states. I may forget how beautiful those scenes are but I will always remember this store and Dennis .

Dennis and Chris are the best! Always take care of my needs in a timely manner, which means a lot to someone with my schedule. Always upfront about costs and I always get a fair price!
