If I can give a 6 star rating, I would !After being in the Bay Area for twenty years I can honestly say Gustavo is The Best mechanic I ve ever had ! While living in San Francisco, I was going to Carlos Auto Repair ( sadly since retired ) He was the #1 all time mechanic in the city rated on Yelp.Well ... Id even rate Gustavo above that !!One thing that often happens at other shops is when you go there, there s always a large crowd of cars that need to be fixed ahead of you. You gotta drop off the car and pick up later. Gustavo s is great because when I make a scheduled visit ( and after diagnosis ) I show up, get my car fixed immediately and then leave with it fixed ! The shop is clean and orderly, almost like a doctor s office. It s another indicator that he s disciplined with a strong work ethic. I have an 80s Toyota van - which is seemingly difficult for other mechanics to work on. Gustavo also owns this type of van, so that s why I started going to his shop. He works on all types of other cars though ! - like my Scion xB. Pretty much anything that I need fixed , he has fixed it. Since he is the sole proprietor of the shop, his over head is lower than larger shops with a bunch of mechanics. Those savings are definitely passed to you, the client. I met Gustavo through a Facebook page. I was looking for a mechanic in the area who had either worked on my type of car, or owned the same model, and he happened to be both!He s done everything from fixing fuses, gasket, breaks, oil change etc. He helped me get my van all tuned up and back on the road. I highly recommend him, I will definitely be going back for future maintenance on my vehicles.

I called Gustavo and told him that I needed the water pump on my 99 suburban replaced, l had the part. He told me he was working on a car and that I could come at 4:10pm. But I said 4:30 pm would be better. So when I showed up at his shop it turned out the part I brought was missing a head gasket. He then called Napa auto parts and ordered a new water pump for which I paid. He did an excellent testing the pressure before and after replacing the water pump. I plan on coming back to him for further maintenance. Nice guy. Highly recommended.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Beyond 5 stars. Recently had work done on my 1986 Toyota Van Wagon and Gustavo made 30+ year old suspension feel brand new. Definitely coming back here for all my future needs. Very fair pricing and top notch work. Thank you, Gustavo!
