It's impossible to overstate the expertise, kindness, and attention to detail of the team at Divine. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Chris on our electric.While installing a car charger, he noticed a significant safety issue that two other electricians had missed. With a newborn on the way, this was no small risk. Chris worked with us and PGE to secure the best option to move forward that was also in our budget. He truly went above and beyond, working every option to get us back to safety. Throughout, he was kind, quick to respond, and detail oriented. We've never felt so safe or cared for.I cannot recommend Chris and the Divine team enough.

Divine are the kind of electricians our parents spoke about with a sparkle in their eye-- honest, kind, thorough, and transparent. We worked with Chris on an EV charger and safety upgrade. It was evident he cared about the quality of his work and getting us in a safe spot moving forward. Chris never took the quick or easy way out, always going the extra mile to ensure we were in the best spot.After having worked with multiple other electricians in the Bay Area, I can confidently say Divine is among the best. The value is unmatched as well.While I'm sure everyone is excellent, request Chris if you can. His explanations of how everything worked, tradeoffs, and consistent contact were second to none.

My experience with Divine Electric was extremely positive. The pricing was fair and competitive. Scheduling for the initial appointment was timely and to my convenience. Rob Markey was knowledgeable and very clear in explaining details about replacing my outdated Sylvania/Zinsler panel. Further, the work performed by Gene and Abraham was first-rate. They made the less-than-fun aspects of a major electrical overhaul bearable with their professionalism, efficiency, and consideration. It was a pleasure to do business with Divine. I highly recommend them.

Jeffrey of Divine Electric installed a Tesla Universal Wall Connector Charger and a sensor light at my home. He and the team at Divine Electric could not have been more professional or proficient. Jeffrey was on time, concentrating on the work at hand as he spent the day meticulously developing and then wiring a complex setup, followed by giving me operating instructions. Everything he installed is working perfectly. Chris was excellent for our LED light install - thorough, timely, friendly and efficient. Additionally, DE has the process down - real time on-the-spot quotes via iPad so there is no "we'll send you a quote later today." Great experience overall and will use this company again.

We needed some plumbing work done to support a contractor who was on the clock. Divine was able to get us a plumber very quickly. Nick was professional and friendly. He did an excellent job and communicated well to ensure he understood our expectations and that we understood our options.

UPDATE: It is now a month since I left the one star review and since then we have failed 2 more inspections. On the latest one, the inspector said Divine hadn't grounded the panel properly. I have sent 2 emails to the owner who said in the response to the review below that he'd "be happy to help", and he has not bothered to reply.Original review:Divine Electric maybe ok for small projects but they have been a total nightmare for our PGE upgrade. Everything you can imagine has gone wrong, we have failed multiple inspections because they forgot to do things, we had a 6ft open trench in our front yard for 4 months. Crew show up on the wrong day , unexpected, and are unsure of why they're there or what there meant to be doing. We are now in our 3rd calendar year of this work and no sign of completion. If you have a big project or an upgrade choose someone else!

Divine Electric did an excellent job with my recent panel upgrade. From the initial quote with Alex, I felt like I was being treated fairly and was given an accurate estimate for the work to be done. The installation team was professional, prompt, and made sure there were no oversights with the job. Herb was transparent during the whole process and kept me informed on job completion. I was given a thorough walk-through of the completed work after the upgrade so I wasn t left with any questions or concerns.Service: Electrical panel replacement or upgrading

Nathan showed up on time, did a great job with Covid safety and provided a clear overview of the project before beginning. The quality of the finished work was excellent and he provided a lot of education on options and safety. My overall experience with Divine Electric was excellent from scheduling to completed work. My only constructive feedback was that the cost was more than expected, but I guess you get what you pay for. Thanks for a job well done!Service: Electric car charger installation

We had our Zinsco panels replaced and upgraded in support of a new HVAC system. Working with Divine was very easy on this project. I appreciate the professionalism and responsiveness in particular. Also the team of Jeffrey, Herb, Harris and Alex were terrific and friendly. They were happy to patiently discuss what they were doing and their approach to the upgrades. Since buying my home I ve done a large number of electrical upgrades, all performed by Divine Electric. Last November my 50 amp panel was upgraded to 200 to accommodate rooftop solar and EV charger. EV charger install. Two flat panel TV wall mounts. Several smart wall switches installed, and today a Logitech Circle View Wired Doorbell ( wired being the key issue as the house didn t have a wired doorbell). Working with the dispatcher to set an install date was simple and courteous. Nathan and Jacob arrived on schedule, very personable and following COVID and clean floor (disposable shoe booties) protocols without missing a beat. They did an efficient assessment of options for the install, reviewed them with me, then completed the install ahead of schedule with flawless operation and fully-cleaned work area. They stayed with me while I set up the device on the house network to make sure everything worked fine (it did Kudos to Logitech as well!), then completed the transaction with a quick signature on their iPad.That s why I keep coming back to Divine. They get it done right, on time, with a clear focus from dispatch to install on customer experience and satisfaction. The attention to detail shows, and consistently across all the crews who ve worked on my place but with a special shout-out to Jacob who just joined the Divine team; he has a good mentor in Nathan!

Today, Nick, a very experienced master plumber, and his assistant Antonio, performed two plumbing installations for us: (1) a new kitchen faucet and (2) a new toilet. They got EVERYTHING right: knowledgeable at the expert level; skillful with all aspects of the installation; concern for performing their work at the highest level to insure that we never have problems arising from their work; fully informative about all aspects of the replacement installations, including important discoveries made in the process in this case a badly kinked dishwasher drainage hose that had been improperly installed; respectful of our home environment, our time and our inconvenience; courteous and friendly, a pleasure to have in our home; punctual. Remarkable!

We chose Divine for many reasons. They have great communication, explained everything in a way that made sense to me, and they were always on time. Everyone from Divine also instilled a feeling a trust. Trust and honesty are most important to me, especially when it comes to something like electrical work. I worked with Diego in evaluating the electrical issue and determining a resolution. Juan and Luis arrived around a week later to complete the work. All three of them are exceptional and made me feel like we were all on the same team. The finished work was great, the cleanup was impeccable, and we even enjoyed some friendly chats. Thank you to the dynamic installation team of Jae and Altimont! They were on-time, friendly, courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and patient. I appreciated their level of expertise and ability to collaborate as a team to trouble shoot and problem solve. They even laughed at my jokes and were very friendly with my big cat, Timmy Jimmy, who was overseeing all of the activity. We are very happy with the electrical upgrades inside and outside the house, and I enjoyed having these quality guys around. They put me at ease and answered all of my questions. They explained their work, and offered suggestions and safety tips. I ve use Divine twice now - once to completely redo my electrical box and again for a new water heater + miscellaneous plumbing repairs. Both times, I was very satisfied with their work. Divine Electric is an awesome company. They employee a diverse group of well trained employees. Each gentleman that came to my home was respectful, focused, and professional. I love how the company provides health benefits and incentives for their employees. Breakfast treats, BBQ's, Jeffrey's favorite, and regular staff developments to keep their work force up to date. I have already referred several people. I will definitely hire them again for my electrical needs.

Harris did a great job installing new bathroom vanity light fixture. He found a great work around when the top of mirror and bottom of fixture did not match up. Appreciated his attention to details. Very pleased with results. He deserves a raise in pay.

Incompetent and overpriced. I called Divine to replace an old 100-amp breaker on my sub panel that keeps tripping. I am an electrical engineer and already diagnosed the problem. They charged me $1008.16 to diagnose the problem, replace the breaker and install 10 light bulbs in the ceiling fixtures. But, they didn't actually replace the breaker. So, it keeps tripping. And, they didn't actually diagnose the problem, or it would be fixed. And, they didn't tell how much they were going to charge me before they started so I didn't approve the charges. And, I have contacted them four times and they are not returning my call so I am writing a review.

The entire crew was amazing! Alvaro, Carlos, Kevin and Luis. It was a large multi day job and they were accommodating, professional, and high-quality. Special shout out to Carlos, who stayed an extra four hours, and went more than above, and beyond to help fix an issue with Tesla solar that had nothing to do with their job. We had a leaky shower, needed our water pressure adjusted, and needed new valves and pipe installed. Nick Loera was the plumber that did the job. He was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, proffesional, friendly, and always showed up on time. He did extremely quality work and explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. We are actually going to use Divine Plumbing in the future to install a new toilet. We liked Nick so much that we requested for him to do the job. Thank you, Nick!This is our second time using Divine Plumbing and the experience was just as good as the first. We had a new toilet installed and we requested that Nick Loera do the work as he was our plumber for our first project. Nick was fantastic again. Today Divine Plumbing moved a clothes washer drain for me in able to be able to complete a large electrical repair. The crew - Jose, Antonio, and Louis were great. They were on time, explained everything and did a great job.
