Best mechanics in Marin. Super knowledgeable, honest and quick. We trust them wholeheartedly and wouldn t go anywhere else. Best around for Mercedes and BMW s too.

Had a fantastic experience. Service was quick, everyone was friendly. Darren kindly gave me his undivided attention while I asked a host of questions, showing knowledge and thoughtfulness in his responses. Seeing lot of Spinters and sprinkled with some high end Mercedes, boosted my confidence that I would be in good hands.Although I've have the option to have my Sprinter serviced at shops closer to me that work on this model vehicle, this shop had the balance of fair pricing, efficiency, knowledge and a family vibe that I will happily make the trek to return to again!Bonus! beautiful artwork adorns the buildingServices: Auto engine diagnostic, Transmission repair

Collie is the only place I trust to bring my car, I've been going there for 15 years. They are 100% honest, do excellent work and charge reasonable prices. They always let you know what repairs are actually needed, and whether or not it's urgent and what may be pending for future consideration. Their work is reliable and thorough. When they do a repair it's done right. I highly recommend them!!

Collie Autoworks is the definitive goto Mercedes service center. My mother's 1999 C280 has been serviced here since 2015. She can feel the ride quality and performance improvement in her vehicle.

Update.I took my sprinter van here for oil leak repair . They replace parts that was unnecessary. 8 months later, still drips oil under engine. I do not recommend this shop for sprinter repair.I took my van to Sprinter experts in Sacramento. They did took care of the oil leak problem .Also collie autoworks did charge me twice of the amount / overcharged for a transmission oil change . More than a dealer shop. Not fair.Services: Transmission, Engine repair

Collie is great. Mercedes experts, but I have seen other makes there too. This is the go to place once your Mercedes is out of warranty. Fast, fair and honest. They've serviced 2 Mercedes for us for over ten years.

Responsive, intelligent, quick turn around. My Mercedes battery failed while I was out shopping, and I knew it was a specialized item (1 of 2 batteries in the car, dedicated to car starting). Tried to call the dealership (who have serviced the car for the last 10 years) as they were fairly close. Nobody to answer multiple call attempts apart from a car salesman we don t sell batteries and voice mail. They still have not got back to me after 7 hours. Got a jump start from AAA, called Collie, they picked up immediately, took details, called back promptly to verify they had what I needed. Fixed that afternoon, pleasant experience dealing with them, fair price.Service: Battery

This review has been LONG overdue! Anyone who has a German car with issues knows that they can be a head ache, and my VW certainly was a disaster. I took it to Collies, & they were upfront about the repairs, helped out with the price, and did an outstanding job. They work on everything from your average daily driver to rare AMG sport cars from the past and present. I actually drive by on a regular basis just to see what they are working on. To say they went out of their way does not even begin to describe their efforts, and I could not say enough about all that the Collie team did to help me during a frustrating experience w my car. Their service work alone is absolutely worth the 5 stars, but the customer service is unlike anything I ve experienced before. I m looking forward to getting my next German car because I now have a mechanic I trust and appreciate. If for some reason you re still on the fence, I promise you will not be disappointed with Collie s.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

These guys are a AMAZING. After the last mechanic blew my transmission hose line after an engine replacement in my T1N sprinter, I had my van towed two hours to this shop. They fixed the problem within a couple days and will be my go-to when I m in the Bay Area! Extremely friendly, honest and knowledgeable people working here. I fully trust them with my home on wheels.

Long and complicated repair on my Mercedes, weeks of chasing the problems, but all was done to full satisfaction and confidence. I do all basic maintenance/brakes/suspension, and rebuild classic cars and motorcycles as a hobby, so I have a good idea of competent and honest mechanics. My cars go in the shop when it is a serious problem I cannot handle. The whole team at Collie give that feeling that they know what they are doing and take pride and responsibility in their work and service. Plus my car came back so clean it felt brand new again even with 130,000 miles.

Collie Works and the team of Dennis, Denise (owners) and Roger (manager) have been amazing with their service of my car and have helped me out not only with taking great care of my car but making available a loaner car when possible...wow! They are professional & honest, always trying to find a way to problem solve with my BMW's car issues, and have exceeded my expectations since the first time I visited them with my car a few years ago. My friend, Eric, who is very particular about the care of his European cars referred me to Collie Works and has been a customer of theirs for many years. What a gift this referral was....thank you, Collie Works and for standing out from the crowd!

Darren, Denise and their Service Manager Roger are awesome! I've been a Mercedes driver for over 22 years. I've spent at least 50,000 in service at the local dealer for overpriced, incompetent and mostly unnecessary service on my 91 E300 which I purchased new from them. As an example; from the day I took delivery on the car the engine idled rough and no amount of money would get anything but the standard, "they all do that." Shortly after I took the car to Collie with over 200,000 miles on it, Darren replaced the front engine mounts and voila, smooth idle and better handling since the engine was firmly mounted to the car.That's just one example. I sold the old car with 306,000 miles on the original engine and tranny. It's still going strong. My new car is a 2006 E350 and again, Collie is the only shop that will ever touch it.Collie is fair, reasonably priced, and best of all, the absolutely stand behind their work with no push back.I've you've got a Benz and you love it, there is only one place to go. And if you've got a Benz and you hate it, take it to Collie Autoworks and they'll put the love back into your driving.

Want to know the true meaning of professionalism. Collie Autoworks........ They are the place to get your Mercedes maintenance done. Denise, my favorite, is simply awesome, easy going and just a great person. Mike is pretty cool too. Service Manger, Roger is always at the front desk to great you with a smile. They are a great group who are true professionals. The work is always done correct and they always try to satisfy their customers going beyond the call. I highly recommend for Mercedes auto service.

I'm a new Mercedes owner of a 2000 CLK320 that needed several repairs. The most major was the replacement of the entire engine fan assembly. Collie's did the work for a good price and quite quickly. The manager, Roger, is very friendly and polite. More importantly, he's on the ball. If he says he'll call with an estimate or in response to a question, he does!I'm glad I've found a reliable shop for my first Mercedes :-)

Collie's is great. Really caring and thorough. Even reminded me to grab my fasttrak out of my car when leaving it there to be fixed. Really recommend these guys. Great work. Proper pricing. Great customer service which is really missing elsewhere

Excellent service on our sprinter when the dealership wait was 2 months, and a drive to Santa Rosa. Collie is the place, and I will steer friends there.

Fab U lous!!! Super. Can't say enough. This was my first visit. I came here via word of mouth from Auto Haus Mechanics. Mat and Darren were super customer service agents. All of my questions were answered and service needs explained very well. Collie Autoworks will be my go to MBZ service provider.... Barbara

Absolutely wonderful experience, knowledgeable, pleasant, I saw how they treated an elderly woman, this is a issue with me (I've seen other shops take advantage of my mother) I'd tell my mom to go here with no worries.

They do good work at a good price, but the thing that has me coming back is that they're busy enough that the do it efficiently, but not so busy that we have long wait times
