Best experience ever at a luxury brand service facility! Came in with an issue, no appointment, first time there, and I was treated like a longtime VIP customer by Tom. Within minutes he s looking under my hood and providing me a loaner. He stayed in touch with me throughout the process and the car was fixed good as new within two days. So grateful I bumped into Tom. I live an hour away but BMW San Rafael is my new go to shop!!

Went in for the standard oil change, etc. BMW of Marin is always efficient and easy to drop off, pick up loaner car and get on the road again. Within few hours, my car was ready. I trust and love working with them!

I've been to a lot of BMW dealerships in the bay and the range in customer experience is huge. This one is definitely my favorite and has the best service department by far. They managed to root cause an intermittent whistling noise with my X3 that plagued me for months and multiple technicians at multiple dealerships could not fix despite multiple attempts. Not only do they have the best technicians but the service agents are awesome as well. They are super communicative and great to work with. They will secure a loaner for you if you ask and they keep you informed with txt messages and video updates often go above and beyond to make sure you drive away happy. I used to see Jacqui McCargar who was awesome. She recently retired and now I see Ryan John who is equally great so I trust this outfit will always take my car here every time even though I live across the bridge in San Francisco. Highly recommend.

Exceptional experience! I was so impressed as a first time service customer. Smooth experience all around and Sam ( person that took my call, set the appointment and got me a new loaner BMW X3 - thanks Sam!) Tom Smith (Service Consultant) and Gabe (Service Technician) are the best at what they do. True Pros and very much appreciated. I will always refer San Rafael BMW ! Thanks again !!

Tim Price is my hero, especially in the pouring rain several weeks ago when my so-called "run flat" tire didn't. My car had to be towed. The tire had been purchased at Costco last summer; after not answering their phone after several attempts, the tire department at Costco finally answered and said the tire wouldn't be in stock for a week or more and they didn't have any solution. Because the BMW Assist towed me to the BMW dealer in San Rafael, Tim said, no worries, they would handle by finding a replacement tire and giving a loaner to me until the tire arrived. Wow. Great service. Many thanks.

My daughter got into a car accident (not her fault) and unfortunately our BMW was a total loss. Not knowing what to expect next Tom explained everything in layman terms and told us our options. He dealt directly with the Insurance company making it a seamless process! Thanks for all your help Tom!

Tim Price in the service department is a godsend! My car s been in a couple of times for repairs, and he is always so communicative and friendly. This last time, an oil change shop messed up the job and created major issues with my car. Tim was so incredibly helpful throughout the process, and went above and beyond with the entire situation. Had the high pressure fuel pump fail while driving and BMW of San Rafael was the closest BMW dealer in the area. Had the vehicle towed there on a holiday weekend. This major repair was luckily covered under warranty. Our service advisor Tom was extremely helpful transparent and communicative during the entire process of getting our X5 fixed. I would highly recommend Tom and BMW San Rafael for your local BMW repair needs.

I ve been working with Tom Smith for about 15 years, and there s a reason I will continue to do so as long as I own a BMW - he always goes above and beyond for you. He s also one of the nicest persons I ve met in the car industry; every time I bring my car we spend at least 30 minutes catching up. 10/10.

I took my 2022 430i in for what I thought was routine service (oil change, etc) and to check an engine light that recently came on. Unfortunately, that light signaled a serious (read expensive) repair. Tim Price was the messenger of this bad news but he delivered it with empathy and understanding. He suggested I contact my insurance agent to file a claim. I followed that advice and worked with my agent and Tim at BMW to get my car repaired. Tim is the consummate professional and personable.

My experience was not great. First, the entire dealership has been demolished and is being reconstructed. The customer lounge is now the corner of a trailer in the parking lot. I would ve appreciated knowing what the situation was before I booked my Service appointment.I made an appointment for an oil change. When I got there, I was told by the service technician that they would finish my car probably today . It was 10 o clock in the morning and all they were being asked to do was change the oil. Ridiculous.In the end, it took them over five hours to complete the oil change. Thankfully, I didn t need to wait in a trailer for that time since I had other errands to run in Marin. But I will think twice about ever bringing my car back for service.

BMW of San Rafael has the most amazing service I have ever seen hands-down. The team there is absolutely top notch (Tom and Garian are amazing!!!) and for 2 times already they saved our vacation by going way and beyond for us when we had a problem with our car. This is the place to go for sure if you re a BMW person like I am!!! Thank you to all the team there!!!

The best service experience in years. Tim is one of those great professionals who exceeds your hopes and somehow makes it look easy. Just like another day at the shop. The whole team was great. My favorite service advisor recently retired but I was assigned Ryan who is a rockstar! I pulled up expecting the comfy lounge area only to discover the building is undergoing renovation and will be for the next 11 months. The dealership put together modules and has them clearly labeled so I knew where to go to see Ryan. When picking up my car, I was in a cozy module with an efficient checkout process. I felt my repairs were reasonably priced and the process was easy even in the rain! I look forward to the remodel once it all s finished.

Dropped off my car for the annual service and I told my service rep, Tom, that I think I am due for new tires. Tom told me that he would personally inspect the tires then make his recommendation. Tom got me into a loaner quickly and I was off to work. Tom called me a few hours later and told me that my car was ready, washed, and that I still have a bit of tread left on my tires. Love BMW of San Rafael and Tom in particular. Honest, prompt, and meticulous work.

Easy in and out. Tim , advisor, was knowledgeable about an issue I was having with a sensitive key fob. My previous advisor was the best I d ever had. Jacqui retired Tim is very good so far. I ve dealt with BMW over 40 years and still a fan of the service.

Tim Price is Amazing! He listens to all your questions, always patient & helpful, putting your concerns first. He is very aware of cost vs benefit. I ve owned a variety of BMW s for over 25 years and the customer service in the Service Department is the best in the Bay! My new service advisor Tim from BMW San Rafael was super friendly and responsive. A big thanks to Garian, Tim and also JJ in Sales. These 3 gentlemen rescued an important item I had left in my loaner car. Super grateful!

I have worked with Tom, my service consultant, through four cars. He is knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. He is the best! The entire service staff is helpful and courteous. Service at BMW San Rafael is a big selling point.
