Took my truck to Barsotti s for a paint job and their service was flawless. The team was very friendly and the job was completed on time and as quoted. I had shopped around for other quotes and Barsotti s by far provided the best value.

I rarely post reviews online but my experience here warranted a shout out to these guys. Had my vehicle repaired here and they were great. Staff was very courteous and quick to address issues or answer questions. The pricing was also more than reasonable. I've had multiple experiences with various autonomy shops through the years most good, some not so good but these guys were really top notch. Great experience!

I rarely write reviews, but the team (and especially Vanessa) at Barsotti's really went out of their way to help me. A bodyshop in the city made a mistake that resulted in thousands of dollars of damage to my car and went on to deny all responsibility. A friend referred me to Barsotti's. Barsotti's was able to quickly determine the cause of the damage was from the SF bodyshop's error, but they also talked me though the issues and helped me take the photo documentation that I needed to prove it. After previously getting the run-around from the SF shop for over a month, Barsotti's generosity in lending their time and expertise was truly something worth a 5 star review. This is especially true since they were sending my business away (because the SF shop should have, and finally did fix it for free). Next time we need a bodyshop, Barsotti's will be our first stop.

I was rear ended and took my Rivian to Barsotti s. I first interacted with vanessa who was great - she got the car checked in and the process moving. I then worked with Mike through a very long insurance process. The car ended up being totaled and throughout the process until the wrecking company picked up the car, Mike took the time to keep me updated and answer my many questions. If you need body work done, I highly recommend Barsotti s.

Barsotti did a poor job of estimating, scheduling and completing body work on my 2 year old vehicle. What was supposed to be 7 days in the shop ballooned into 33 days!!! The scheduler did not keep us appraised of the delays either. We had to call him for status.Inflated prices and poor service.

Asked for a quote to repair this small dent on the passenger side door. Advised to send photos and they will provide an estimate by email. After several days got back a quote for almost $3k - listing fenders, headlamps, bumpers, etc that needed to be replaced as well as the repair to the door. I clarified we are only seeking a repair on this door - nowhere else, and she held firm on her estimate. When I asked for the clarification from Denix, she simply told me that her quotes are thorough and its not her problem if I don t understand them. Very disappointing customer service and we will be going elsewhere.

I was excited to take my car here. When i picked it up everything looked great. They failed tovtell me they had not replaced one part but Amber the general manager quickly offered to have them resolve this issue. Unfortunately they also failed to inspect the wipers which they did not put right because they werent covering the full area when used like the used to.For my luck, I have another claim and I would love to bring it back here to give them another chance only because of the managers initial response to my issue. I left a message for the manager last week and again today. I will update when here back. Really hoping I can give them a 5 this time. Service: Auto windshield replacement

Worst experience I have ever had at a body shop. They said it would take 10 days and it took 45 days. In addition, they did a terrible job matching the paint. I would advise everyone to avoid.

Unfortunately, my car hit a deer at night. Thankfully I was driving about 25miles per hour. I couldn t see if the deer walked away; it was too dark. My car s bumper was nudged a bit out of place. I brought my car in for an estimate and Vanessa offered me 2 choices, of which I chose the most affordable and least perfect fix. I am really happy with the work that Barsotti s did for me, my car and my family. Also, everyone in the office is really kind, helpful and caring.Hopefully I won t need to come back, but I would gladly recommend them.Service: Body & Trim

Updating my review after I got a call from the manager and had a very nice conversation with her, and have now received our repaired vehicle.As suspected, the workmanship is EXTREMELY good and VERY high quality. You d never even know it needed repairs in the first place, which is amazing, and the ultimate impact on this revised review. So that s super important and not insignificant at all.Regarding the earlier comments about last of communication, the manager who called me was absolutely fantastic, and I super appreciate her following up with me. And the manager was super responsive to my input about their folks being more reachable and responsive to inquires. So I really appreciate her commitment to following up with me regarding my review.Original review:I never review places online, and I recognize that this is probably a family run business which operates in a tough segment for reviews anyway. I am going to be incredibly fair here and say that my car isn t even done yet and has been with Barsotti s for the past two months or so. For all I know, the workmanship and repair quality may be excellent, and I actually think it probably will be. But I can t assess that at this time.Where Barsotti s unfortunately fails miserably is their customer service. I don t know if anyone from Barsotti s will read this review, and I hope they do, as all I am trying to do is provide honest, constructive feedback.But their ability to be communicative and have even a most basic level of dutiful correspondence with the customer (or at least in my case), has been nothing short of non-existent. Multiple emails unreturned, voicemails that s aren t returned, and promises to ring back and update my vehicle s repair status that fail to materialize all make it appear that they really just don t care. I m sure the people who work there are probably very busy, but we all are, and if I handled my job this way, I would be out of business. It s just flat unacceptable from a customer service standpoint, and if I were the owner, I would be appalled to read this review.Again, the quality and craftsmanship of my repair may be exemplary - I just don t know that yet because my vehicle isn t done. And I have every expectation that it will likely be. But the customer service, thought their people may be nice once you speak with them, is just absolutely horrendous and their lack of engagement is borderline offensive.

In the past they had excellent service. Seems they've gone down hill. Won't even take an appointment to look at my car. I was told to go to a different shop because they can't help me, but won't even take the time to look at the issue. Over 2 weeks of wait time and a day of back n forth emails. Worked with Mike Dinelli. Called a different body shop and explained the same issue with the car and they got me an appointment for the next day. Why things are so complicated when they can be so simple, I'll never know.

This shop was recommended by Jaguar as a certified shop. I was excited by the good reviews and they sent a tow truck to pick the car up over the weekend. That was two months ago. In that two months I have been given 2 emails and 5 phone calls. I have had to call three times a week to get any information I have been promised that I would have the car by Friday 4 times. I have had to take off work and may loose my job because my employer doesn t believe me anymore about my vehicle. This has been the worst repair experience of my life.Service: Body & Trim

I'm thoroughly pleased with the service and the results I received from Barsotti's. My car was badly damaged in a supermarket parking lot and needed special attention, new parts, plus a paint job. Roland helped navigate me through the process and dealt very quickly with our insurance company. He streamlined the complex insurance process and made it so much easier for me to understand how things work. I'm delighted with the end result, my beloved car is like new. I'm so happy I am going back to have some other minor 'supermarket parking lot' dents taken out. Highly recommend this team of professionals.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Barsotti s is the place to go if you have a Tesla in Marin or the East Bay. Their service is excellent, they are as fair as can be, and they always take care of you. Once you re a customer, you re always a customer.Vanessa is amazing to work with. She is super responsive, and you can tell she cares about her work and her customers. In an industry that doesn t always have the best reputation, Barsotti s really sets a new tone.I can t recommend this place enough!

If I could rate this company a zero I would. I called the company to get an estimate and small repair for damage done to my car by my neighbor backing into my car. I was told to send photos of the damage and provide them the insurance claim number. I waited for weeks for the company to respond to me and finally chased them several times never getting a call back. Ross was the person meant to be helping me but because I never got a call back I ended up asking another person in the office for the status. I finally got a check from the insurance company and called the company to have them order the part and I scheduled the service to repair the car. I showed up on the day of the appointment and a person told me that the part arrived damaged and they need to reorder the part. I am suspicious that they ever ordered the part as they have never taken my job as worth their time. Even if they did order the part and it arrived damaged, you should call the customer and tell them they need to reschedule the appointment-- this would avoid the customer driving all the way over there only to hear this news. I believe that how a company treats its customers on the small jobs often shows how they really feel about customer service. I will not be using this company ever again and I'm sure they do not care as my job was not material but hopefully others will see how they treat their customers and this will effect change in their customer service model.

These guys are good, and that should be apparent by looking at the types of cars in their garage. Obviously well trusted by some of the top brands of automobile.The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It was great to have them not only walk through the damage, but to also do a walk through of the repairs under their lights in the garage.One thing to note is they did a polish job, but left a lot of holographic swirls on the area of repair.Other than that, this is A+ service.

The general manager, Amber, at Barsotti's has always taken excellent care of me and my McLaren. I've had to use their services twice now (first for some under car damage caused by road debris, and most recently due to a pick up truck that didn't see me in a parking lot and backed in to my rear fender - thankfully not causing major damage, but still needing some body sight line correction and painting).The first incident required replacement of the front subframe (the original subframe had only superficial damage, but still not something to risk on a 200MPH+ car that I do drive at the track!), which is a complex procedure - and being the only certified McLaren bodyshop in Northern California they certainly took care of the work perfectly, working with the dealer to source the required parts, following all the required processes, including calibration and alignment (which required transport back and forth). They identified other parts that needed replacement and took care of it all too, and completed the work extremely quickly.The second incident required some panel correction and painting with a special "elite" paint. The work came out flawlessly, and I couldn't be happier. They worked with my tight schedule and again went above and beyond to get it all completed extremely quickly.For both incidents they worked with the insurance company reps, including inspection, and line by line analysis of exactly what was needed. This car isn't one to cut corners on, and Barsotti's have delivered every time!Highly recommended!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim, Welding

One of the sole body shops with its act together in the north bay. Their team have always acted professionally and thoroughly for as long as I've known them. They bend over backwards to accommodate everyone. They are the only shop I know of that Audi and Porsche are happy with. That should tell you something right there.

This place is a con artist. They rip you off high dry. And the quality of the paint finish is a disaster! They left swirl marks all over a freshly painted surface (after we spent thousands of $$$ for the work!) because they use some never-heard-of machine to try to take out imperfections from their lousy paint job! They said it's their process. Never heard of! On top of that, their lousy paint job has a gritty appearance the light, hence they use their machine to try to polish it out, leaving swirl marks everywhere! Don't ever go to them. There are quality body shops out there that do a better job. We will share this with certain car dealerships that use them in blind sight.

Superior customer service in answering questions, handling the estimating process and working with insurance representatives. Plus, honesty in recommending what should be done that will benefit the customer vs. just making money for the shop (thank you Vanessa Miller!). Oh, and from what I saw, it appears they do great work too!

I stopped by to get a quote on having white paint removed from my car door. When I told the very personable young woman what I wanted she said just a minute. I thought she left to get paperwork. Instead, she returned with a tiny container of liquid and removed the paint. When I asked the price she smiled and said no charge. Can you believe it!!!

I believe this may be the 4th or 5th time I've written a review. I know it's the first time such a review will be negative.I damaged the rear bumper of my Audi to the point of filing an insurance claim to have it replaced. Audi of Marin recommended Barsotti's. Liberty Mutual recommended Cooke's Collision. I went with the Audi of Marin suggestion and chose Barsotti's. I chose poorly.Long story short-My insurance policy does not include coverage for a rental car and I dropped my car of on 12/12 and was told it would be ready on 12/16. On December 30th my car was ready. Over the 3+ week period my car was in their possession Barsotti's reached out to me once, on 12/15, to tell me more damage than anticipated was found. Other than that-not a word.I'm a patient person but when I had to renew my rental car contract for a second week on 12/19 and didn't hear a thing by 12/23 I wrote a brief email expressing my disappointment over the fact that my car was still not ready and I had not heard a thing. I also made mention of the fact that my rental car is an out of pocket expense and I would hope Barsotti's would be willing to pick up a portion of the cost due to the delay.Amber from Barsotti's left a message apologizing for the delay. She said they were 'slammed' by people who needed their cars back for the extended Holiday week. (Did I somehow gave them the impression that I didn't want my car back for the Holiday and enjoyed extending my rental contract for a third week?)In her message Amber said everything had been settled with okaying the extra work and that my car would be 'sent to paint' first thing on Tuesday the 27th and that I will be hearing from them when it is ready.Nothing.I finally called Barsotti's the morning of the 30th and was told my car should be ready by noon. They would call to confirm.Nothing.Without the benefit of a call, I returned my rental car at noon. (What should have been a great rate a roughly $166.00 for the week amounted to $563 and change.) I walked over to Barsotti's where my car was sitting outside. I settled my bill and presented my rental car receipt to the woman helping me. I explained to her that I already expressed to Amber via email that I would like Barsotti's to split the rental car cost due to the delay in receiving my car back. She said she would give it to Amber and she would get back to me.Nothing.Over the three week period I have shared with numerous friends, co-workers and family members my experience with Barsotti's delays and lack of communication throughout the repair process. I hope if the need arises they will take their business elsewhere.Bob Gallagher

I have been known to have a few car accidents. I always take my car to Chapparone. They do amazing body work. All the people there are awesome. Alisa in the office is so helpful also. I would never take my car anywhere else.
