I bought a car from Audi Marin almost a year ago. I wanted to warn other young military personnel about my experience with the company. Although I was hesitant to post a review that could harm the company's reputation, I decided to share my story to help others.I found an inexpensive car with Audi Marin using the Navy Federal car buying program. The dealership was almost three hours away from me, but I scheduled an appointment to check out the car. When I arrived, Scott told me that another person had been looking at the vehicle and wanted to purchase it, but he didn't have a check. Scott left me and my friend sitting at his desk to talk to the alleged buyer. After the conversation, Scott said the guy still didn't have the check and would proceed with letting me test-drive the car.After the test drive, I told Scott that I was in the military, and he said he was formally enlisted. However, he asked me to run my credit even though I had a pre-approved loan from Navy Federal. I showed Scott all the paperwork, but he still insisted on running my credit to prove that I was not a fraud. He said the credit pull was just for an identity check, but he then came back with paperwork saying how great my score was and that he could get me a better deal than Navy Federal. I declined his offer.Scott asked me how much I could put down on the car, and I told him the amount on the check from Navy Federal. However, he persisted in breaking down all the costs, which were almost twice the amount of the listed price for the car. I foolishly told him I had a few thousand dollars, and I asked him if putting a deposit down would lower some of the total price. I don't think my down payment knocked off any extra pricing except the extra amount that appeared doubled.Eventually, I signed up for the car despite all the red flags. During the test drive, the yellow light was on, and Scott said it might be the tire pressure light because they had mounted new tires. He promised to fix it for free, but I never received any resolution regarding the issue.Lastly, I was harassed by another representative from Audi Marin through text messages and voice calls for a few weeks after I got the car because the check from Navy Federal didn't clear. It turned out the check was illegible, and I needed to get a new one from the bank. I drove almost two hours to get a new check from Navy Federal then drove to drop it off at Audi Marin. The new check was legible and provided no further issues.Overall, the car works great, however, except for the ongoing yellow light warning. I wouldn't recommend it for young military personnel to use this company. Instead, I would recommend speaking with the military family and readiness center to give you cheaper and more reliable options that would not double the price due to your military status. Some bases have lemon lots and military personnel selling their used vehicles.

What an awesome experience! We set up an appointment to test drive online and Abraham greeted us promptly when we arrived. He asked several questions, then showed us many options he felt would meet our needs. He didn t hover or put any pressure on us. He gave us a great deal, and I feel he really wants to do the right thing for all parties concerned. He took the time to go over all the features of the car, which can be overwhelming. I would absolutely buy/lease another vehicle from Abraham.The finance department was very efficient and professional. Leonel made the process painless and he even found a way to save me a bit on money! Audi of Marin is first class service.

This was our fortunate but unfortunate second purchase from Audi in Marin. They worked extremely hard to get us into the first car, which was totaled and they did the same for us again.The whole team from sales, finance, to service provided an excellent customer service experience and went above and beyond for us. Mo was the one who sold us our car and he s the one we went back to. He s passionate about getting you exactly what you want and he cares about making that happen for you. Aldo in financing worked extremely hard at making the numbers work for us and stayed late both times to close the sale. Brittney in service worked with us on getting our car into the service department to get fixed and dealt with the insurance company on my behalf to make the process a little bit easier on us. I cannot say enough about the team as a whole.We appreciate all of you.

Residing in the South Bay Area, I could have easily settled with other Bay Area dealers but we were willing to give Audi Marin a try because of the clear and straight forward communication, and the sales team s willingness to earn the business. The dealer represented to us the there was a second key for the car. But then said they could not find it and would do nothing to make up for something which we were led to believe was part of the deal. Only a day after the paperwork was signed did they explain the error was theirs but would do NOTHING to make up for us having to now pay over $500 for a second key. I would not be surprised by this behavior if it were not the DEALERSHIP which was selling the car and they clearly made a big mistake that I am now having to pay for. Watch out when dealing with this dealership. They can not be trusted.

Just purchased my new car from Audi Marin and I can t say enough good things about the experience. The entire staff was impressive and my sales person, Asma was fantastic. She was informative, efficient and engaging. She responded to texts immediately. She made the actual purchase smooth, staying with me the entire time and followed up the next day to make sure there were no problems. I would highly recommend Audi Marin to anyone interested in purchasing an Audi. I would give 10 stars if it were possible.

When I called the operator connected me to Jessie in sales. From the initial contact he was professional, responsive, and followed up with what he promised. During the purchase process he maintained his professional conduct. We had an excellent experience thanks to Jesse.

Every time I call service, I am greeted with rude, exasperated young women. When I arrived I heard the gal speaking with another customer in the same manner. It's unacceptable.I had to wait for someone to help me when I arrived and until I asked a technician, they were going to let me stand there until, who knows.I've been going to Audi Marin for a few years now and since you are the only Audi service within 75+ miles, I don't have any options.I find when I'm there or speaking on the phone with you, I am told what you can't do for me rather than what you can do.I knew it was going to be a long day for servicing my car so that was fine. The technician Ian gave me updates and was fine once my car was being serviced. I requested my car to be charged before leaving, which did not happen. I had a very helpful sales person when I inquired about maybe buying another Audi but once again when I asked a different salesman a question while I was in the waiting area, he was unhelpful and unprofessional.It's a pity you are the only game in town.Finally, I have no idea if I'm being charged reasonably because I don't know what it costs to service my car and you can charge whatever you want.

The car buying experience can be stressful, and in many cases unpleasant. My experience with Marin Audi was absolutely phenomenal. Not only was I able to complete purchase completely online, the car was delivered to my driveway. Scott Carter was an outstanding salesperson who took great care of me. Many thanks to Grace and the entire Audi Marin team. I leased an Audi and brought it home and put it on an old electric charger I had . And it got stuck! Grace and the service team (thank you Danny and Sean!) sent out a technician to my home. There was an issue with my charger and they helped get it off my vehicle. They were responsive and really went above and beyond to communicate and handle the problem.Also want to thank Andrew in Finance who not only shared a common heritage but was also super helpful as we finalized the paperwork.Sincerest appreciation to everyone on the team from a happy customer.

I m so happy with my new lease of a Q5 from Audi Marin! This is my third lease with Audi (A3, Q3, Q5). Each year when my lease is going to expire, I don t want to return my car because I like it so much, but I am then even happier with my new lease. Robert Langlois at Audi Marin did an incredible job at getting me into another lease. I was above satisfied with the car, features and coverage I walked away with, all of which was within the budget I had set going in. I felt no pressure or discomfort (as a woman going into a car dealership alone), but instead, an entire team that was willing to work with me until I left completely happy. Highly recommend!

Buying a car sucks. Full stop. I ve had dealers ask for my keys so they could keep me in their clutches. I ve had others offer one price and after HOURS of doing paperwork, they came back and said they made a mistake. Audi Marin is different. I first worked with Nathan four years ago and he was smooth as butter. He gave me a great price from the start. No haggling necessary. In and out. This time around Solomon called me to start the process and Nathan finished it. Painless. Oh, did I mention that I live in Los Angeles? Yup, they re that much better that I m willing to drive 6 hours there and 6 hours back.

I swung by the dealership to pick up a trunk liner I'd purchased online - Google had the hours wrong so I ended up showing up after the parts folks had left for the day. The woman working the front desk (I wish I'd gotten her name to thank her properly!) was extremely helpful and was able to get the part to me anyways. Great customer service, really friendly staff.

We went to Audi Marin to look at a car and decided later that day that we wanted it. We arranged for a babysitter for the evening so we could go back to Marin (we live 50 min away) because Audi Marin promised they would hold it for us. When we arrived, they had us wait in an area for 20 minutes. It felt strange that it seemed the salesmen and managers were avoiding us. Lo and behold, they SOLD THE CAR to another couple but had us come in still just in case that deal didn t go through. Not only did we waste our time traveling to Marin, we had to arrange a babysitter last minute for no reason. They felt no remorse for the situation they made us go through (you can tell none of the salesmen actually have spouses or children).

We found our experience very satisfying which led to our purchasing a Q4 etron. We worked with Jesse and really drove him crazy. The financial adviser was very helpful and efficient! The advisors name was Emad he really came thru with great suggestions. Manny showed out on technical features. Still have to get more help with features of car. Amy was quite helpful and I m sure we ll need her assistance as time goes on! Thank you all!
