After 2 voice messages to an agent, 2 days later with no response and 1.5 hours waiting on the phone line to AAA, I decided to drive 10 miles to the closest branch..best decision! Angelo L. quickly and kindly helped me with a simple update to my policy. Sometimes the old school way of in-person is more efficient with your time. BIG THANKS, Angelo for a great customer experience.

Very nice place to get your dmv or registration errands done. The staff was very friendly and organized, and I received very quick service. Even had a nice conversation about the area since I just relocated. Will come back in the future for my other vehicle needs.Skip the dmv and go AAA.

Every time I need roadside service, a a a steps up to the plate perfectly! On time, but really what excels, is the extreme courtesy, excellence and friendliness of their wonderful roadside staff. Needed a battery charge today and the assistance from the staff driver was beyond good. Thank you AAA!

Omg! Compared to Geico this place is a slice of heaven. I was a Geico customer for 21 years until I lost my coverage a couple months ago. It was my fault for not paying on time, i was moving out of my apartment and was broke. First time in 21 years of nonpayment. Rather than giving me a break i was cancelled. The problem came when i tried to renew. Its impossible to talk to a person at Geico. I waited weeks after filling out their online quote nonsense for their underwriter and still no one got back to me.I got fed up with Geico and came to this AAA to see my options. I had gotten roadside assistance before. I waited in the busy lobby maybe 10 minutes in a comfy chair then the agent came and got me.She was very nice, i explained my situation and within 15 minutes i had insurance. We talked about the Giants and baseball and the new stadiums. It was so personable unlike Geico.I feel comfortable coming here and talking with people rather than automated phone lines and broken online quotes. From my history of roadside assistance with AAA, I'm sure their help in the future will be just as stellar.

Remember the days when you could walk into most any business and be met with friendly, capable service? Well that is alive and well at this AAA office! I walked in to get my vehicle renewed, something the DMV won't have an appointment for until November, and within three minutes I was back outside at my car stocking the 2023 sticker to my license plate. If you are an AAA member, you ought to really consider using this benefit. If you are not, now is a great time to join, or ask someone who is a member to add you, it's worth it!!!

I was in and out pretty quick. They're insurance people, very much sticklers for the rules. That said, I went in with a unique situation, and they worked witme where they could, and explained what I should do when they legally couldn't.My recently deceased wife had insurance with them.

Walked in without an appointment and got serviced right away. It is the best way to handle any DMV Services needed. However, I had to return several times get a complicated issue resolved. They could do a little better at communicating next steps but other than that a great alternative.

They were slow on getting to where I was. It would say on their app 7 minutes away or eta. 20 minutes later the tow truck hasn't moved. I texted the driver at least 10x and never replied. At this time I was getting frustrated so I texted him again and asked him why he hadn't moved. 30 seconds later his truck started moving with a new eta 3min. I took him 15 min to get to me. We are going to cancel our membership ASAP.

Rigid, not helpful, partial title services when raining. Yes, raining. Never again.

Friendly Pet Lovers will love this quaint and well-stocked pet store. The women who work there are very helpful and know their stuff... They're pricey but for anything important, I would recommend them.

I m a very satisfied customer. I ve been with AAA for over 14 years. I love the idea that you can pay for your registration through them and not deal with the DMV LINE

I've been using AAA for years now, and the rare times I need to use their DMV services completely justify me continuing to be a member. I was trying to transfer my vehicle to a new owner and I went back and forth with the DMV for, no joke, 9 months. Every time they lost something or forgot to mention I need some paper work... Needless to say, I was annoyed. Then I found out that AAA members can do vehicle transfers at AAA branches (Not sure why I didn't think of that before...). I went in, and within 20 minutes, they helped me complete my vehicle transfer. It took the DMV over 9 months to do what AAA took less than 20 minutes to do. Not only that, but the people who helped me we very friendly and knew what they were doing.I haven't had a single bad experience with this location, or AAA in general, yet.

Woman I worked with was very nice and helpful. However the man that was also working the DMV desk (didn't get his name, but he was balding) was unnecessarily rude. Very verbally abrasive, seems like he hates his job, but nonetheless doesn't need to take it out on the customers. The woman I was working with asked him a question for clarification with what she was working with me on and he only had rude responses to offer, not helpful. I feel sorry for all those who are unfortunate enough to come into contact with him.

Disappointed! No longer takes checks and charged me $4.50 cents to use my debit card! Worse than a casino!! Had I known checks no longer legal tender, would have brought cash. Like the convenience, but felt ripped off when I used my card!

Terrible experience. JUST GO TO DMV TO HAVE VEHICLE REGISTRATION FASTER and MORE EFFICIENT! Having just moved to the area, I decided to join so I could do my vehicle registration through them. Long story short, Triple AAA entered my vehicle has just purchased instead of purchased in 2016. The fees were double. I had to go to DMV for my license and was told it was entered incorrectly and they showed me on the title where they entered as new purchase. I contacted Triple AAA and they were adamant they did it correctly. Now I am stuck, the DMV says I must go to Triple AAA and they refuse to correct the issue. Now I am forced to go through the hassle of filing a consumer compliant with the Attorney General's office.

If I could give it zero I would. I got better service AT the DMV. Waiting in line at 4pm Wed July 20 2017. A rep is helping one gentleman at the counter and is very engaged. That's the good part. The rep then must have gotten a text on his phone as he TAKES HIS PHONE OUT and texts back, WHILE at the counter. While this does not impact me.. it is horrible customer service. In the meantime, I wait and there are literally 5 other people wandering around. Not one acknowledges me nor comes over to help. After about 5 min another rep who was helping someone else comes to help me.There are now 4 other people wandering around, one less than 10 feet from me who never even said anything.I am trying to pay my car reg. I write a check after giving them my ID and AAA card and the rep then asks the other FOUR people ,oh can we take a check w/o the address on it?Suddenly they all say NO.I have been with them for 40 years. 40. I had a new check book. I gave them my ID and suddenly EVERYONE has an opinion ?Honestly, I was at the DMV a week ago and I truly got better service.

I have been a AAA customer for 45 years. Avoid this company. I spent over an hour on the phone and the internet trying to talk to a live person in the San Rafael office,,,I ended up talking to two call center reps. One was totally useless, incoherent, knew nothing about CA . The 2nd guy was in Oklahoma, smart and make a call to San Rafael, and he was put on hold for 10 minutes and then put into voicemail. At least he got experience what its like to be a customer. One hour wasted with no progress on my problem, I will be shopping to for a cheaper alternative with better staffing levels. Dealing with them will drive you crazy.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great place to get some DMV stuff done like renewing your registration. They give you the stickers on the spot. There's a parking lot so parking is free and easy.

Update:The staff at the DMV services counter have made many improvements, including the triage of long lines to best route patrons and customer service focused one on one communication. I have been visiting since the last review and these incremental changes have made the experience much better. Re-reading it; my last review is somewhat poor as it is simple anecdote; and with the "star" system that one experience with two staff unfairly disparaged their whole team.Old Review:The staff at DMV services told me they were unable to print out a copy of my registration information for a vehicle that I own. I thought that was a service that they were able to provide. When I went home I checked online and found on the AAA website that in fact that is a service they are able to provide. When I called to let them know they simply agreed and do not apologize for wasting my time. The woman at the counter was unnecessarily rude and gave me incorrect information. If you visit this branch be prepared to be very patient with staff they will likely be rude and not understand what services they are able to provide.

walked in on a weekday around the holidays this year to get a new membership. I had been a AAA member for many years as a gift from my family and used the towing services on several occasions. This time I got my own membership for my growing family. The staff was really helpful going over the benefit differences. There were some new benefits I was unaware of that made the premium membership a no-brainer. 200mi of towing has been really helpful in the past, the battery service as well. I now have an EV so the ability to tow a potentially dead car on a road trip to a charging station is a helpful option to have in a pinch. The unexpected perks: emergency medical transport up to $25k, travel insurance up to $300k, and motorcycle towing service was worth it for me since motorbike towing can be expensive. This branch has been helpful in the past with DMV tasks too. It's nice to have one local and accessible and the staff has always been friendly.

The people working at the DMV counter were pretty unfriendly the last two times I went. They aren't attentive and had me repeat myself. Dismissive and flippant attitude. The DMV counter saved me time off work but next time I'll do everything online.

AAA has been so great in the past! My last 2 visits for DMV services have been a complete waste and disappointment. Both of these visits have been waiting in line for more than an hour. The first visit a representative fully reviewed my paperwork as i entered the line and said oh its no problem we can transfer this car. After waiting 1 hour they looked at my paperwork for 25 seconds and said we cant transfer this you need to take this to the DMV. The second visit, Paper work was started and PAID for with AAA to transfer an out of state car to CA. We needed to get a smog and few other things and told to return and they can give us the CA plates. After waiting 1 hour in line the employee was aggressively quick and telling us they cant complete this. We need to visit the DMV! I clearly remember them telling us they can give us the plates! Just frustrating experiences.

2 weeks ago they helped with one of our dodge 3500 s registration. Then this week our other truck. Same make and model. They say they don t help with heavy trucks . I tried to point out they helped with the other truck last week and they just stared at me then repeated the same sentence going to cancel my wife s and mother in laws memberships as they only drive those trucks and yet AAA still sold us their additions to my memberships 2 weeks ago poor customer service!
