I have a 2004 Honda Accord that I took in for smog certification, they charged me $80. Wanted to use a local business, since it was close to home, but I didn't expect to be charged $80 for a smog when I usually pay $30-$50. Not going back.Edit: Regardless of whether it was my husband or I who was present, it does not change the fact that we were charged $80 for a smog. Also, calling me cheap seems out of line. We paid for the service dispute the higher cost like any normal person would. He was unaware of the usual costs for a smog, which is why he didn t think to ask for discounts or coupons and I m glad that the service was friendly, I m not saying it wasn t. All I m saying is that the average cost for a smog is typically between $30-$50 plus state fees. As such, when I was made aware of the total, it was quite a shock. My apologies for assuming that costs would be around average. I ll never make that mistake again and I definitely won t be coming back to your location, which I m sure doesn t bother you one bit (which is fine, this is a business transaction). I never planned to make this personal, all I did was state what we were charged and that we wouldn t be back, what others do with that information is up to them, that is the point of a review.Service: Smog certification
