Love how the Ceramic Coating came out on my new vehicle. Dropping off and picking up the vehicle was simple. Taylor was professional, friendly, and upfront. I really appreciated him explaining the process of applying, how the coating works and performs. It sets expectations and lets me better maintain the coating for longevity. Turn-around time was faster than I expected which was great! It just rained today and the water is beading off and the minimal dirt on the vehicle washed off. Not sure if should expect this all the time, but I park outside and have a tree that dumps on me and wanted to keep the paint protected and minimized how often I wash.My photo skills may not do the coating justice.

Taylor did an amazing job detailing my Porsche GT4. I had severe scratching and swirls from previous owner neglecting the paint over the years. He spent over 12 hours washing/polishing/buffing/coating the entire car. I am extremely pleased with the results. I m very particular on where I take my cars and I have full confidence in Taylor s ability to detail any car. Highly recommend bringing your car to Taylor at Bay Area Detail. My front bumper had some scuffs and scrapes, and Taylor was able to make it look as good as new. I messaged him Tuesday and was able to get an appointment by Friday morning. Taylor was super communicative, professional, and precise. He was upfront and honest about what he could do. Truly can t even tell it was scratched up, he did a fantastic job.You can tell that this is his craft and his passion. Couldn t recommend enough!

We've had Taylor do paint correction on 3 of our cars and the results never get old. Most detailers can make new paint look good, but very few can revitalize 20+ year old paint the way Taylor does. I ve gotten paint corrections, ceramic coatings, and interior details over the years and I ve always been amazed with the results. I've known Taylor at Bay Area Detail for a number of years. He is the only detailer I trust to get it right and to really nitpick the details. I've gotten simple, routine cleanings and full paint corrections and ceramic coatings from him. He's done an excellent job on my cars and has taken care of them like they were his own. I can t recommend Taylor and his business highly enough. I had him fix the PPF and ceramic coating on my brand new Porsche Spyder that another shop in the Bay Area had unfortunately not been able to apply appropriately, aside from some razor blade marks that they caused. Taylor was recommended to me by a PCA friend who had his cars taken care of by Taylor.I had my car about one week at Taylor s shop; during that time he had to remove the PPF from several panels, apply new film, strip the old faulty ceramic coating off the car and reapply new ceramic coating on the entire vehicle. Taylor communicated very well throughout the entire process and did a stellar job at a very reasonable price. What a difference! I wished my car had gone to Taylor from the beginning. If you are looking for people who clearly know what they are doing, who are very meticulous, and you love your car, don t look anywhere else. Will certainly continue to take my Spyder for regular detailing.

I had my 911 fully detailed, paint corrected, ppf, and ceramic coated by Bay Area Detail. I dropped the car off after a track weekend and the car was absolutely filthy with brake dust, road grime, and track rubber. The work was impeccable and the car looked and felt brand new. Taylor is very thorough and communicative about the entire process. Hard to believe it s even the same car after Taylor s help. My car has seen 10+ years of hard track use, and during that time had never been waxed, claybar d, or anything besides a bucket wash.After a few hours with Taylor, I m really thrilled to see it looking better than new. He was easy to work with, friendly, extremely timely and professional - highly recommend.

Took my x5 for a one step paint correction and full ceramic as well as my m4 for a 2 step paint correction, front end ppf, and full ceramic.Not only was the job done extremely well, but Taylor shows high levels of professionalism, attention to detail, and passion. I received constant updates with photos showing befores and afters highlighting the results and the quality was next level. Took my car here and it got the platinum treatment.Went in for a buff and an interior clean; didn't go with any specific expectations beyond that but I was blown away by what I got.The car got some real love and care, spots that I wasn't sure/didn't expect to get clean are now spotless. That damage I was worried about was gone, and 5 year old stains had vanished.What stood out that most was the passion I saw and heard when I picked up the car. Taylor went through a list of things done for the car and things attempted with some real glee, he was very excited to tell me what he was able to achieve. What stood out even more was the earnest disappoint when describing things he couldn't completely clean out and what he wasn't able to do.That level of care and perfectionism is rare, and speaks volumes.Taylor also actively tried his best to give me a fair price, removing things he knew he couldn't get done due to available resources and going so far as to recommend not getting services due to oncoming weather!In exchange, Taylor even traded that exterior work for more interior work!I was recommended this spot by a friend and I can say that I'm glad I have it a shot.

This is the second time taking my xB to Taylor. He did such a great job revitalizing my old daily driver inside and out the first time that I had complete confidence coming back to him for a full engine detail and exterior clean. I could not believe how good it looked, it was like new! I wish I had taken before and after photos of what Taylor had to work with! He takes such great care and consideration in how he treats your car, I will continue to bring both my cars to him!

BAD was a great experience! I searched many hours looking for the optimal detail shop. Taylor breaks everything down at a high level and points you honestly in the right direction. He is a straight shooter and I truly didn t recognize my car when it was done. The Beam has never loooked so good.

I ve known Taylor for a few years now. He s detailed many of my cars new and old. To list a few of them he s completely corrected a 2004 Subaru STI, and a 2014 Honda Accord (Ceramic coated this as well!). The others he has detailed to a lesser degree but those include a 2008 BMW 335i and a 1994 Jeep Cherokee. I would 100/10 recommended him to anyone including friends and family, I know he would not disappoint. I ll attach some photos of the Honda Accord correction and others for example!

Taylor did an amazing ceramic coating job on my new Tesla. He explained the process in great detail, and provided instructions on how to care for the car after the fact. Very thorough and knowledgeable. I will be coming back for annual maintenance and will definitely bring my future cars to him as well.

Taylor at Bay Area Detail provides outstanding auto detailing services. I first met Taylor at a cars and coffee event, where several people with gorgeous cars said that Taylor had done their detailing, pointed me to him, and raved about his detailing knowledge and quality of work. I had occasionally asked others at later car events about detailers and never heard such consistently high praise as I had heard given to Taylor. When I was ready to have my first serious detailing done to my car (I always wash and wax myself, but decided to have more done this time to make the car look the best possible in advance of Monterey Car Week), Taylor was the only choice.When I contacted Taylor to make an appointment, he asked great questions about the condition of my car, and my goals for the detailing. (My GOALS for detailing? Great customer service and customer treatment!) Since it s a 1974 car (an Alfa Romeo GTV) that was repainted over 20 years ago, he felt it would be important for him to look at the state of the paint in advance so we could talk through the detailing options based on the car s actual needs, and also figure out how much time would be needed for the appointment. Taylor made time to come to my house to look at the car, pointed out what he saw as the good and bad in the state of the paint, the stainless trim, the interior, everything, and then laid out a clear list of options for tiers of detailing service, their prices, and tradeoffs of them all. Never was there a hard-sell push to go for the priciest options. Taylor was clearly ready to do as little or as much as I wished. He just wanted me to understand what I would get for each service choice so I d be happy with the final result. That in itself was impressive.Then, the work. I had planned to get the Stage 3 detailing, but when Taylor pointed out numerous things in the car s paint that I hadn t understood or noticed, he explained how they could be corrected and what it would look like afterwards, I chose the Stage 5 service which included two-step paint correction of compounding and polishing. When I first saw my car after Taylor was done, I was stunned. For the year I ve owned the Alfa, I always thought it looked great, and got many nice compliments on it. Somehow, though, Taylor took it to a whole new level. It was as if the car was covered in a gorgeous coat of a liquid red mirror. As we were looking at it, a UPS deliveryman dropped by, came over to admire the car and said something about having it painted. I mentioned that it had just been detailed by Taylor, not painted. He couldn t believe and said of the 20+ year old paint job that Taylor had just detailed, It s perfect. It looks like you finished painting it today. I think that says it all.

The staff and service here are excellent, better than anywhere else I've been. Prices are fair for the services you get, but especially for the quality of work and amount of detail put into it. They are also incredibly knowledgeable and will always help you out with any questions you have. It doesn't matter what kind of car you drive, these guys will always put in their best work and really make yours look like it just came off the factory line. Thanks again guys!

We got both our cars done from Taylor. This Audi had extreme decontamination and over spray from paint. He took care of it right away and did a clean job. The car paint feels extremely smooth to the touch. Definitely will contact again for future work.

We took two cars to Taylor, one which we were selling and one which we just bought. Taylor did a PHENOMENAL job on both. He is so passionate, knowledgeable and his attention to detail is unmatched. I am convinced that he got us an extra 20% with our car sale price thanks to his ability to make a 10 year old car look literally brand new again. On the car we bought, it was lightly used but had a ton of scratches from mismanaged care. Taylor took out every single scratch and his ceramic coating made the black paint shine so much it literally glows like the ocean. It looks so good we get stopped in the street with questions about the car! If you want to give your car some TLC, or want to make your old car feel new again, go to Taylor.
