I recently went to the shop as my vehicle had some MIL issue. I was very satisfied with the service I received from Nick. My vehicle was repaired on the same day. I think the price was fair as well. I'm glad that I've found a great mechanic in the town.

Got my suspension done and tires replaced at At the Shop.Received my car back with most lug nuts stripped or damaged. I was provided with a replacement set, but only after I noticed the issue and came back to complain.After 2 months of little to no driving (due to Covid), the sidewall on my brand new tire failed while driving. I did not hit a curb, or cause any damage from misuse, but At the Shop refused to warranty the tire and said I would need to replace it at my own cost.

My brakes were grinding. I was having trouble finding a brake repair place., that could help me on short notice. Nick and Liv were awesome. I was able to have my car repaired and ready by the end of the work day. They kept in contact with me the whole time and followed up after the repairs were done.I'm grateful for them. .I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends.Service: Brakes

I came to At the Shop from a great recommendation from a friend. I had them change the clutch on my truck, it was a big job but they knocked it out. Fast efficient and precise they made sure everything was perfect. Nick and Liv are great, communication was spot on. Highly recommend At the Shop.

New customer with Nick thanks to Yelp, and I must say, they really are as good as the reviews say, if not better! Nick always gets the job done in a very prompt manner, with high quality and a very reasonable price. He will communicate with you constantly while your car is being repaired to provide updates on the status and estimated time to finish. One of my fuses burned yesterday, Nick replaced it for me in 5 minutes without charging a penny. Their shop is very trustworthy and I will keep coming back here.

Nick completely demystified my issues with my '07 Honda CRV. After visiting other mechanics, who only provided cryptic explanations for my axle problems, Nick calmly showed and explained to me, in his spacious and clean garage, what I needed to have fixed. He then gave me a reasonable estimate, on the spot, and let me know how long it would take to fix (under a week). After conveniently making an appointment with his friendly and helpful wife, Liv, my axles were fixed for hundreds of dollars UNDER the original estimate, which was already set at a fair price. We then had a smooth and safe trip to Tahoe the following weekend. Thank you for the piece of mind, Nick, and your insightful advice.

This is a great family run shop. I am new to the area and needed a mechanic. I found At the Shop Auto Repair on Google maps, it had the most positive reviews so I took a chance. Nick and his wife (she runs the front desk) are great, kind and professional. Nick took the time to show me the part that was in need of replacement and explain everything to me. My car was repaired very quickly. I allready have an appointment to bring our other car in. I've taken two cars to At The Shop and each time Nick has been amazing at making sure my cars get fixed properly and at a fair price. I have always been hesitant of car mechanics, but Nick is clearly a trustworthy guy that wants his customers to have a great experience. I also really like that he takes the time to explain what he did on the car and shows me all the old parts that were removed.

Went to At the Shop for the first time for a 90k service and brake repair on a 2014 Civic, we had a great experience. The team here communicated well, was easy to work with, and clearly does high quality work. We just moved to the area and our neighbor recommended me to get my car serviced here. It was an instant hit! Nick explained what was needed to be done and everything was well priced and service was excellent. He also fixed the front bumper at no charge. Nick and his wife Liv run a great business here. They have been caring for our family's cars for years. We met them when our kids were in preschool together and are so grateful to have competent, knowledgeable, and honest help.Here's a classic Nick story for you. Last week, I dropped my newer car at Nick's for a 30k tune up, and then discovered that the battery in my older car had died from lack of use over the pandemic (my own dumb fault). Nick personally dropped off the first car and then super-charged the battery in the second with enough juice to get it back to his shop, where he swapped in the new one. No charge, just a kind person connecting the dots and making things a little better for everyone.Go to Nick, he'll take care of you.

A few months back, my Ford Escape's brake pads wore out and the brake discs were also damaged. Nick took great care of my car, getting the car in quickly, and replacing both the brake pads and discs. While my car was in the shop, Nick also checked out other parts of my car and informed me about other parts that needed some TLC. He gave me reasonable quotes on new tires, tire alignment, oil changes, and similar services. Since Nick does such a great job, with his wife Liv communicating updates and friendly reminders, I've started taking my car there regularly.

Been going to see Nick the owner for several years - one of the most honest and respectable people you will meet - straight, honest and a great mechanic to top it off. I have serviced both my Acura and Mercedes with nick and never had a single complaint. My car is always coming out feeling new with no unnecessary "return visits." Recommend unconditionally

Nick is by far the best mechanic I have ever worked with. He is honest, reasonably priced, and always tells me which repairs can wait a while. I have been taking my car to him for some time now and will continue to, I just hope that he doesn't get so busy I can't get my car in quickly next time!

Nick has serviced my 2006 Volvo for two years now, including the front brakes. His work has been professional, thorough, and at a fair price. I have been very happy with the work done at "At The Shop". I recommend this place very much.

Nick is the best mechanic I have ever had! He has extensive knowledge of vehicles and how to maintain them. He has very reasonable rates and will do his best to make sure all repairs large and small will be as affordable as possible. If you need a good local mechanic, there is no one better than Nick of At the Shop!

At the Shop is by far the most fair and honest car repair shop I have ever worked with. So much so, our entire fleet of trucks is repaired and maintained here. Nick and crew are friendly, straight-forward and fixes the problem. I am glad we found a shop that helps our fleet for our techs and always prompt and courteous. This shop is clean and organized. I have never seen a car repair shop like this. You can trust Nick PERIOD!

Another great car repair experience!!!!Easily made an appointment with Liv last week for an oil change for our 2008 Honda CRV. Service was professionally performed by Nick in a timely manner. He also checked the cabin air filters and they were filthy. Nicked changed them quickly. We now have piece of mind that the air we're breathing is clean especially with the Summer months coming up.Nick and Liv really know our car and what it needs. Looking forward to the next service visit. Thank you you Liv and NIck! Keep up the great work...

I have both cars I own serviced at the shop. It was recommended to me by my friend and colleague a couple of years ago, and since then I have recommended it to a few friends of mine as well. The job quality is always superior, Nick's advices are straightforward, knowledgeable, and helpful. I did my best to recall at least one negative thing about the shop to make this review look more "objective", but I miserably failed. I beg your pardon for that.

When you re on the road and far from home you wonder what sort of service you will get if your vehicle breaks down. My wife and I were traveling through San Mateo California when our truck decided it needed new universal joints. I looked to YELP for a place with decent reviews. At The Shop Auto Repair had great reviews. I called the shop and was told they were busy but would have a look. I limped the truck ten miles or so to the shop. At first glance I was very impressed with how clean and tidy the place was. Nick the owner told me what to expect and said he d call as soon as he was able to have a closer look. His Wife Liv, even called Uber to get me back to the campground we were staying at. A short while later Nick called and confirmed the diagnosis and gave me a ball park estimate. Several hours later Liv called to let us know the truck was fixed. Ahead of schedule and on budget. Did I mention it was A holiday Monday?These people are the real deal! A family business with real family values. Excellent work, fair price, and lovely people. I highly recommend At the Shop Auto Repair! You won t be disappointed!

Family owned business and it shows. A level of customer service and kindness you just don't find that often. Nick explained his assessment of my vehicle in clear terms. Car needed a smog check , which they do not do, but Nick said as part of his service and he would take it to get smog checked after he finished with his service. I was surprised by this and also appreciative that I did not have to go to 2 locations to get all the necessary service. This is my new go-to spot.

The owner Nick and wife Liv run a warm and friendly operation with all the latest diagnostic and repair services both foreign and domestic. All my vehicles have been under that families care for over 30 years.

I brought my Honda for 30k miles maintenance to this shop. Asked Nick to check what needs to be done for this mileage and dropped the car. He called me a bit later saying it's just an oil change and few regular inspections (like brake pads, etc). I was surprised, bc I checked it online and there was also brake and transmission fluids change on Honda website, but he said no. So here is the outcome of my visit:1. $170 for oil change + tire rotation (without cabin/air filters). Same price Honda Steven's Creek charged me for full maintenance (with filters) before.2. A week later engine cover at the bottom fell off on a highway. The bolts were missing. So I had to buy it on Ebay and fix myself. There is no way it could've happened if he had tighten the bolts properly during oil change.3. Here is the culmination: when I went to Honda dealership for the next service - 37.5k miles, they asked if brake & transmission fluids were changed at 30k miles. Because they should've been. So Nick also put me in danger by not changing critical fluids on time. Even though I explicitly asked for it.Service: General repairs & maintenance
