I needed four new tires and calledthree other major tires store. All were expensive and not the best tires. I decided to give Pep Boys a try. I called and spoke to Lenna the store manager and told her what i was quoted at the other tire shops. She got me a cheaper price and name brand tires. They were very quick to install and it was just a great overall experience.Julie

Lena and her technician, Jonaton did a great job with my truck. I had my front-end alignment done, and they were fast! I will bring my other cars and truck in for service when needed.

The manager at this location was absolutely AMAZING!!! She was extremely helpful from the moment I called on the phone to the second I stepped foot into the store. She rolled up her sleeves and fixed my problem (a dead rodent near my battery). It was beyond disgusting and stomach turning and she and her crew handled it like true professionals!! I really appreciate her and her crew!! My alternative was a gas can, a match or a cliff. I don t handle rodents dead or alive, so she saved me and my vehicle. Thank you for your out of this world customer service and support!!!

This location has been hit or miss the past few years. Needed to ship one of my vehicles to the east coast last minute. I decided to give this location another chance after two years. Lenna was absolutely wonderful. Last minute appointment and for an oil change tire rotation. Even met the mechanic. Will return with my other vehicles.

I dropped off my car to get rotation, balance and alignment of my tires because I got them installed at a different location before I moved - but even though I was told an hour or a couple hours, I showed back up almost a few hours later and my vehicle is not even moved into the bay being worked on.The person at the desk told me she only has two guys and no space to have it brought in and worked on, and that not being a psychic there was no way to know when it would get done - it could be another hour maybe possibly perhaps, but if I had a problem I could just have my keys back and leave.After spending 3 hours of my day waiting to have it done and then expressing that I could wait a bit longer but not expecting to go into the 4th hour and beyond, being responded with an attitude that lacks accountability and courteous service I certainly was given no option but to have to take another day it somewhere else and further invest time/energy/resources again.No drop off and pick up shuttle offer extended either, and first time at this same location I was met with similar unprofessional attitude. Over all including installation, have not been met with a good impression from this franchise at all.

After being happy to come here and spend $2,500 to have work done, I left with this nagging prompt on my screen that wouldn t go away.Originally the lady said I d have to pay for a new usb port, over $300, but when I pointed out this problem occurred under your care and you didn t specify it on the inspection report , she told me to bring it back and it would be on the house .I take it in today, come back 2 and a half hours later and they haven t even begun work in my vehicle. She tells me it will be done right away, and 10 minutes later she says it s ready.I start the vehicle and immediately see the same notification, bring that up with the lady and she says take it to a dealer, we didn t cause that problem .I don t believe in 10 minutes anyone replaced a usb port, which they previously said would require pulling out the center console.They got some money from me but they ll never get another dollar. Not them or any other pep boys. All they had to do was make it right and they had my repeat business.

I m hoping we were an edge case. Scheduled a new tire mount and balance about a week out, had a date and time in stone. Brought the car in at 2:30pm and my wife waited for what should ve been a 45 minute service. I picked her up at 3:30 when they told her at that point it d be another hour and a half. We eventually got a call at 5:40 for pickup. When I looked over the new tires, they still had lube on the seals, and the rims were covered in grease as well as a missing valve stem cover. It took nothing more than a wipe down, but to me it s the sentiment of paying for a service and receiving quality service. Unfortunately, we had no quality service. Again, I d like to give them the benefit of doubt, but on this particular day our experience was bad.

Great team ....great service provided all the time. They always make sure to keep you updated on your car's health and what needs to be done....and they are very reasonable on the cost of repairs.

I have always gone to Pep Boys for any battery needs, but had never gone for any other reason before. Some recent experiences at other car places made me consider otherwise and I'm so glad I followed those instincts. this location has great management and associates. I felt confident in the information and suggested services provided with a detailed performance check and photos provided. It is a no brainer that I will continue to come to this location for all my other vehicle check up needs.

This is the hidden secret of San Marcos. Always friendly skilled workers with services done at a fair price. New manager is very pleasant and goes out of her way to make sure you know how much your business is appreciated

Went to San Marcos Blvd Branch this morning to get my tires replaced. VERY friendly customer service. Tires were replaced and aligned. Service was quick. Receptionist was so kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this branch. Thank you so much for your awesome service.

I had a defective tire which blew and shredded while on the freeway. The tow truck brought my car to Pep Boys in San Marcos. I can t say enough about how kindly the staff treated me. They were not only helpful, but understanding and sympathetic with the situation. I am now a customer and will happily spread the word!

This is the second time I've gotten a oil change in San Marcos location on San Marcos Blvd. They had outstanding service and both me and my car are . Marci is the best. I highly recommend getting your oil changed here make an appointment today.

Went in telling them I had a leak in one of my ac lines. After inspection I was told there was no leak. After they tried to recharge it they found the leak. The part was not available so they said they would recharge ac even though it was leaking. Then they realized the mistake and stopped. They quoted 1100 to replace hose recharge unit and labor. Hose assembly was 150 at autozone and found a mechanic who replaced and recharged the ac unit for 350. Ac working fine now for half the price.

Arrived a few minutes early, and I was checked in right away. I brought my laptop with me so I could work while I waited, but my oil change was done so quickly I didn't have much time to work! Friendly, efficient, and quality work. Thank you!

I will never come back.I scheduled my appointment online and received the confirmation email. When I stopped by to drop off my car, they simply said that they can't take my car. They didn't even try to call or email me. This is horrible customer service.After I came back home, I received this email from pep boys:"Sorry you couldn't make your recent service appointment with us do you want to set another time? Just�click here�to reschedule. Thanks for letting us know you couldn't make your appointment."This is a big lie. I could make my appointment and I drove to your shop. It was the pep boys who couldn't honor their appointment.I will never come back to this place ever again.

Service was mediocre and staff was very unprofessional. I had alignment done and was done incorrectly that I had to take it to another vendor. Staff wasn t able to print out paperwork nor walk me through the service done because the printer was down and staff wasn t able to answer questions regarding the work done to the vehicle.

I needed an oil change same day without a long wait, I called and they were able to schedule me an appointment for within the hour. Once there, the service was super fast, the staff members were professional, and the price was a fraction of what I've been paying somewhere else (plus, you get a discount of your a rewards member which is fast and free to sign up in store or online). I will be returning here from now on, highly recommended for quality service at affordable prices!

Awful experience. I came in with a flat tire and the guy behind the desk let me know I blew the side wall and would need a new one. After waiting around for them to put on my new tire, I took a look at it. It looked a little funny to me. The new tire seemed flat and old but when I asked two employees about it they simply just brushed me off. Not even 24 hours later the new tire blew on the freeway. When I took it back to the shop, the man behind the desk seemed so antsy. I can only conclude that they charged me for a new tire but instead patched up my old one and tried to play it off as new. They did get me my new tire after this experience and did it in a timely manner but overall would not recommend.

Guy at the front counter was the best. Service was great, worked and had me out in no time. Would highly recommend.
