Hi everybody, I'm just writing this review to let everybody know that this place "metro Transmission" is legit. I read all the other reviews before coming here, and it was all true. I even got a "2 year warranty" on my transmission. They rebuilt my transmission and a few other things in just a few days. It was worth it, you'll get what you paid for at this place. And they were honest, it's a good place for all your automotive needs.

Great customer service, took my 2019 Honda Fit to get 2 front struts installed and an oil change. The car was dropped off at 7 a.m. by 9 a.m. the whole service was completed. I'm a very happy customer who will bring more cars in for service.

It is great to find a place that knows what they were doing at a good price. They were a recommendation from another well known and reputable auto shop in Escondido that doesn't do transmission work. I knew the car needed brakes and they found that when they inspected the car. All of the work (transmission and brakes) was done well, and timely. They also did an alignment (front and rear) for no charge. For those of us with vintage cars and their associated transmissions, finding a shop with the experience to resolve issues can be daunting. Rick quickly resolved the issues stemming from another shop s rebuild and made the car fun to drive again. Rick, Michelle, and Robert are great people and trustworthy. I couldn t be more satisfied.

After being jerked around at the ford dealership, I reached out to Metro for a transmission fluid and filter change. They told me they would be able to get me in the next morning and said they could have it done by the time I got off work that day. Not only did they deliver but they did so with excellent customer service at an affordable rate. I will definitely be using them for all my future transmission needs.

Have always had nothing but positive experiences with Metro Transmission. Recently, I feared the worst and thought I needed extensive repairs. Turned out to be something very simple and inexpensive. Wouldn't trust my cars with anyone else.

Contacted Metro Transmission and Automotive and made arrangements to have my 2009 f150 with 116,000 miles transmission serviced and they got me in quickly and preformed a PM transmission service drain old fluid and replace old filter then added new fluid and filter what I liked was that they didn t try to up sale me like telling me my transmission needs some more work drove to Yuma following da transmission worked as normal definitely will have work done there again seems like a really honest place

They tried, for two days, but ultimately they could not determine the root cause of my transmission problem. They did speculate about a particular part however the cost was exuberant. All in all they did what they could!

I made a last minute appointment that same day for a transmission service to be done. They were all very nice and I was in and out with 20 min. No complaints from me.

Amazing experience, first time coming here knowing I had a transmission leak , (dealership told me and wanted second opinion) everyone at Metro was so nice , they were able to fix my leak , which was much smaller than the dealership had quoted , and I was able to save A LOT of money on this repair.Definitely will be coming back , thanks everyone at Metro !

Hit a dip enterin Walmart in San Marcos broke ball joints right side, I was scared cuz I skid at least 30ft, so close to walkin Over to Hooters to calm my nerves with a special drink, but I couldn t,shouldn t, but thought bout it. Drifting offf, called my insurance and they said call these folks. I did, they did a great job. great customer service and support. I recommend em.

As a resident from Tucson AZ my girlfriend and I decided to vacation in the San Diego area. The transmission in my truck gave us issues. We just happened to drive by Metro Transmission and stopped in for their help. Though backed up in work they took my truck the same day and started working on it. I couldn't be happier with the care of their hearts and speedy service. My truck runs like a top and got us home safe. Thank you Metro Transmission.

Super grateful to find a honest business by 2 great owners. Robert and Michelle are super nice people and very professional. We were less than happy with the previous repair shop. We have a 99 Astro Van that developed a leak around the output shaft area of transmission. After calling a few shops around Escondido, Metro Transmission was suggested to me for the repair. Gave them a call and Robert was able to schedule us in promptly. I thought It was just the rear seal although it ended up being something involving the yoke and a part that is no longer available. They knew how to repair it despite the part being unavailable. Robert and Michelle kept us informed throughout the process and we're a pleasure to speak with. Good people and the price was honest. I will be using Metro Transmission in the future if needed and would definitely recommend. Thank you crew at Metro!

That I was looking at a transmission rebuild. But they flush the transmission new fluids. All is good, and while they were at a found a few other things that needed to be attended to thorough and reasonable.

Had our cars trans serviced. It was done in a timely manner. Made us aware of our power steering fluid & brake fluid was discolored and needed to be flushed& changed. 2018 Chevy Malibu, transmission slipping. Barely made it in. They looked at it same day. The next day, they gave me 4 options to repair, or replace with new, rebuilt, used etc. Pricing for all options was very fair. Great family owned business. I highly recommend Metro Transmission.
