I stopped here every time I m in town to get my vehicle looked at also to get an oil change when it s required. I work for a car wash and I m back-and-forth from Arizona to California working. All the guys here are great, they work quick and there s always a great vibe. I m in and out very quickly and the service is top-tier. Keep up the good work guys!!!!!!!

I was guided into Bay 1 immediately upon arrival, without having even signaled that I was there for service (!). It was wonderful!I informed the young man who greeted me that I had a coupon I needed to find in my email, & he stated quickly & in a friendly way that the $25 coupon offer expired yesterday but that he could give me a $22 coupon (for a synthetic oil change).I finally found my coupon but I didn t need to show him.One thing I don t know is if they checked the tire pressures. If they did, I d have appreciated them telling me what they were (eg, if they were low, etc). My tire pressure light had come up on my dashboard last week, but then it went away. I didn t feel like I had time to tell anyone about that bc I would have been interrupting the gentlemen working on on my car.So I would appreciate being informed about the tire pressures please.Also, I would appreciate being informed about the fluid levels (eg, if my washer fluid was adequate or needed topping up, etc).And I would love to know the status of the old oil (eg, was it was bad, was it still ok, etc).I saw one of the gentleman pull out a filter from under the hood, & to my completely ignorant eyes it looked a little dirty. I would appreciate being shown standard photos of a clean filter, somewhat dirty filter, & very dirty filter; so that I could understand the degree of dirtiness of my filter (plus the info about which filter it was; eg the engine filter, cabin filter, oil filter, etc).The gentleman informed me that I needed a new filter & he quoted a price. I was very disappointed in the price, I was spending more than I had anticipated, & he asked if I was ok & then he offered a $10 off coupon. had a 20% off coupon (20% of $39.99 =) $8, so his offer of $10 off beat my coupon which was nice!The problem is, I don t know if my filter had more life in it! Did it really need ri be replaced?? Or could it have lasted until the next oil change? What were the implications of not changing it now? How would it help to change it now?I was too intimidated to ask.The gentlemen were very friendly, but I know that they re working fast to make the oil change convenient for the customers, so I didn t want to ask too many questions.First I was embarrassed, & on top of that I didn t want to delay the gentlemen.It was nice to see them working so well together. & joking a bit, there was some bantering between them. That was nice to see.The question I summoned the courage to ask was for the date of my last oil change & the mileage of when I last had an oil change.The gentleman showed me on my receipt where I could find that info.I paid & then I was guided out to the exit! Lickety split! I was ushered out into rush hour traffic before my brain could process the amount of miles I d driven between oil changes & the amount of time that had passed since my last oil change. I would ve appreciated 10 15 seconds to calculate those numbers & then drive out. I m 48yo & I ve had a stroke so my brain doesn t process things as quickly as maybe the younger gentlemen who work there & deal with these numbers all the time.I can t really complain about not being given 10 15 seconds more time bc it would ve meant that a vehicle behind me wouldn t have been served as quickly.Anyway, overall EXCELLENT. Extremely QUICK!!Oh & I would have appreciated a education on how tire rotation can help & how not rotating tires can cause problems & how often tires need to be rotated I would have appreciated education about that & info about how long it would take & where I would wait..Thank you to ALL the gentlemen who worked at Jiffy Lube San Marcos, CA on 11/28/23. Even the gentlemen who didn t work directly on my car. It was fun to see them joking around & I was smiling & the oldest gentleman joked once with me. Fun :)

I would give Jiffy Lube a better rating but two stars is what I would give. They offered the five thousand oil change since I drive back and forth once a month from Southern California to Central California and even replaced the belt for a new one because the belt had many cracks on it so I agreed to have it replaced. They even showed me where the cracks were before they replaced it. The service didnt take too long, say 40 minutes for the oil change and the belt replacement.I paid and the cashier took off $20 for any services over $150 which was, in my opinion not bad. I also ask my pops if it was a good idea to get the belt change and he agreed for that amount wasn't bad at all. I usually dont take my car to any big oil change companies but my dad had work and I needed a quick oil change before my trip up north. Anyways long story short, one of the guys there said that my car is good to go and ready. When I got home, I smelled something burning, popped my hood and saw smoke coming out of my hood. Opened my hood to see a small fire near the engine. I panicked but put out the fire as fast as I could. Never had this happened before but they left a rag near my engine that caught fire.I went back to talk to the manager, should of asked for a refund for the service but settled for a free oil change, but honestly I won't be using Jiffy Lube services again. A mechanic should always be sure to check and double, triple check if anything was left behind because people trust you to do a well job at of the services you provide. If you want to gain loyal customers, the little things like this and making sure you do an excellent job is what gets customers to keep coming back. This is the first and last time I will be going to a Jiffy Lube. And if anyone does get their oil change here, inspect your car or ask if you can watch them do their work instead of staying inside the waiting area.

They were told not roll window done because because new Tint applied. They asked me to roll down the window so they could converse more easily. They put the previous owner s license plate on the form, and had to us my credit card again to charge back then change the receipt and charge it again. A very simple Lyft car inspection turned into a 2 hour nightmare.

The service here is always professional, efficient, and friendly. I have never had to wait long to get in a bay for the service, and the oil change is always performed in the quickest time possible.. Their prices are much better than the dealership and there is never any pressure to have any other work done.I highly recommend this Jiffy Lube location.Service: Oil change

Jennifer was extremely nice and very tentative it was a very easy process getting my oil changed. I came in about 5:30PM and I was worried about being too late but I was just in time they finished up a customer before me then brought me right in! The customer service here is absolutely stellar! Thank you again Jennifer I'll definitely be a returning customer at this location.

Called in to check on price for Oil change and was told $92. $5 lesser than Firestone in the nearby area. When I came in for oil change they ask for the coupon. Unfortunately, have to pay out of pocket $106. Not a good service in terms of what is said and what is given especially when customer has already parked car, opened the engine to get it cooled down. Next time will think before driving by here.
