My Toyota Prius has lasted me 14 years on its batteries and totes a hefty 200K + miles and she's still going strong. BUT, as of late, I believe this colder weather has now drained what's left and I needed to get my batteries replaced ASAP.After doing a lot of research in the area, I found HYBRID BATTERY REPAIR TOYOTA and I decided to trust them with my baby.HYBRID BATTERY REPAIR TOYOTA is part of CENTRIC AUTO REPAIR and they are both located within the same building in San Marcos.The map directions to their location was very direct and although they have very limited parking directly in front of their office, there is plenty of free parking space in their lot towards the back.Customer service is excellent and I was greeted by Victor. He was very knowledgeable and more importantly, came across very genuine (not like he was trying to upsell me on any services).Victor was very direct with what needed to be done to my car and what the cost would be.Originally, he said that I could just leave the vehicle with the shop & they could return it in a a few days.With all the crazy rain coming and my work situation, that couldn't work for me. I explained that I needed the work done in 1 day.Victor left to speak to his staff and was able to have me leave my car to get repaired for the next day! Even better, he contacted ENTERPRISE CAR RENTALS, next door to them, and was able to arrange a rental vehicle to me that same day!The service is above and beyond what I'd expected and their pricing was extremely great!I also appreciate that they have complimentary drinks, snacks & clean bathroom for their clients.Had a great experience with HYBRID BATTERY REPAIR TOYOTA and I highly recommend them.Side note: Be patient with them if you don't get a response on the phone. They only had 1 staff up front. I had better luck just driving to them and walking in. A minor inconvenience for such great service.

I didn t even buy services from Victor but he spend an hour educating me on the hybrid battery market, helping me make an informed decision. Being a woman and not having family in California, I feel comforted knowing that I can trust Victor s wisdom and honesty above any other car guys. Oh, and he diagnosed my car problem for free when the other guys wanted $130. You can trust this guy, he won t rip you off.

Went to my dealer and they wanted thousands for a new battery, but Centric charged half that much AND included a 3 year warranty. Victor really knows his stuff and gave me a great price to boot. I'll be coming here for years to come.

BEWARE!!! I called to get a I diagnostic on my hybrid and they quoted me $149 until I told them I was going to repair it myself. This place is a scam they will probably tell you your battery is bad and charge you thousands to sell you a refurbished or new battery.

Centric Auto I have used for 4 years and found them to be very honest and forthright with all my vehicles. from a simple oil change, radiator , batteries and mechanical repairs when required. Where else can you go and get a years warranty. Bought a used Prius rom Centric and with new batteries and cant be happier

Excellent and speedy service cleaning the gunk out of the fan that cools the batteries in my Prius V. Way better price than the dealership.
