My husband and I have been bringing our Honda Fit and Toyota here for many, many years. This small family run business is fabulous! Honest, competent, professional, down-to-earth, and very kind. We completely trust them to take good care of our vehicles and not charge us for anything that isn t necessary. Highly, highly recommend!

If you're a Honda, Mazda, or Acura owner this is your dream mechanic shop. We are a Honda family and we go to them for everything. You can tell when you're talking with them that their honest people and they don't just want your money; they're actually on your side. They want to help you! The work that they do is top notch, and I've only ever had a problem with a job once before which happened recently. This is actually the reason for the 5 star review. Basically, I needed a new starter, and I opted for an after market one even though I was advised against it (Honda's is like three times more expensive). I figured the after market would last maybe 3/4ths as long as Honda's, so I went cheap. Three weeks later the starter died on me. I called up Alan's wrench and they told me to come down. Even though they were having a very busy day I had someone listening to my starter within seconds of my arrival. I gave them the keys and they said they would waive the fee for LABOR and only charge THE DIFFERENCE between the parts! Now that's customer service. I Couldn't be happier with Denny and Dennis down at Alan's wrench. I will be going to them for everything from now on and will definitely be recommending them to everyone who needs the help!

I recently brought my Acura RSX to this dealership for an inspection, and I was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. The fact that they are Acura certified gave me confidence in their expertise and professionalism. What truly stood out was that the inspection was completely free, a rare and welcome gesture in the automotive industry. More importantly, there was no attempt to upsell any unnecessary services, which is often a concern at dealerships.What truly won me over was their commitment to transparency and honesty. Best auto repair shop I've ever gone to. Salt-of-the-earth with a good moral compass. Sound, practical advice and help with all things car-related. They adjusted the valves on my Honda Element when they got tight over time, and it ran like a new car after. They also helped me find a new owner for it when it was time for the Element to make another person happy. I'm grateful that I found this shop!

The highest quality customer service and repair. These guys stand by their work. I have trusted them with maintenance and major repairs for my wife s Acura and my 4Runner. I know when these guys recommend a repair that I can trust that it needs to be done. Best mechanics I ve found in 20 years.

No idea why, but they went from being great at customer service for years to treating my wife and I like we're inconveniencing them with our business. I finally had to take my car to a brand new shop that cares about their customers to get answers as to why my car kept overheating. Had Allen's Wrench taken my concerns seriously when I first brought them up, a lot of permanent damage to my trusty old Honda Civic might have been avoided. Now, it's unrepairable and I have to buy a new car. We were customers for the better part of a decade with this car and our Honda Pilot, recommending them to family and friends left and right, but now we'll be taking our vehicles to a couple of shops we've found that have integrity and value their customers.

This is a mixed review. What I wanted to put down was 2.5 stars, but that isn't an option.On the surface, their service seems good. The guys are nice and they do good BASIC work. The prices are also fair over-all.The low rating is from the experience that I've personally had over the past week or so.My maintenance light had come on, and I had concern about what that meant. I also needed an oil change. I took my car in expecting to leave with it being fixed and safe to drive.I only got half my wish, but I wouldn't know that until close to a week later.The oil was changed, and I left the shop thinking I could drive my car safely cross country because that's exactly what they told me I could do.Recently I went to get my car smogged, and it failed due to a fuel leak that was detectable from underneath.The guys at Allen's Wrench had my car up in the air in order to work on it, so I ask you this: why was it missed during a maintenance check? Why was something so very lacking in safety missed during a maintenance check- the purpose of which was to make sure the vehicle was safe?I had asked him to give my entire vehicle a "going-over" , so as to make sure of this. I even verified that it was done afterward, and they told me that my vehicle was safe; there were no problems with it for the foreseeable future.When I called to let them know about this error, there was no apology. There was no recognition from them that they missed the problem, only a recommendation of when to bring it in. They also immediately diagnosed the problem over the phone without an inspection (a diagnosis I would soon come to learn was erroneous from two separate Honda service stations!).I would recommend taking your car to Allen's wrench for very simple services like fluid changes, oil changes, and alignments. I'm simply not sure they can be trusted to diagnose larger problems effectively anymore (I used to take my Toyota there, and I never had any problems. Their quality of work, in my opinion, has suffered over time.)

My wife has been taking her 98 Honda Civic here for 15 years now and the owner and team keep it in pristine condition, they are always honest about what needs to be done and have very fair prices. Today she had an electrical issue with brake lights and they fixed it right away just charging for parts. Thank you Allen s Wrench!!!

Honest and trustworthy mechanics. Prices are reasonable and they don't try to upsell you for more work than is necessary. Great for maintenence and repairs. We bring both our Toyota Highlander and Honda Accord here.

We ve been taking our civic here for 4 years and they do a great job with inspections and oil changes. Super friendly service, almost family owned type of service (not sure if it is or not will have to ask otherwise read other reviews).They do an all around inspection similar to dealers but without the high cost. Oil changes on our 2013 civic with tire check and the inspection is around $100 which is fine considering if I did my own oil change it would cost almost the same (not including my time which is very valuable).Super prompt, always accommodating, and they have a great crew highly recommend.

Simply the best! Competitive prices, top quality work, and very easy to work with. I always wind up having a nice conversation with the very personable staff. Just good all the way around. If you own a Honda/Acura or a Toyota/Lexus bring it here if you don t want to pay dealership prices but want dependable service.

Every time they do a fabulous job. They tell me what I need, what I don't need, and how long I can go before I really need it. You can trust them 100% that they'll do what's best for you and your car maintenance. The owner is top notch and dependable and every employee I've worked with there is the same. I moved and still drive the distance to their shop because it's the best car service I've ever received. I've been coming for 10+ years after 30 years of service elsewhere. By far, they are the best!

3 generations of my family have used this shop.Two weeks ago my alternator went out, they fixed my car overnight and had it ready in the morning and it was spotless. They took really good care of it.They were 1/4 cheaper than what the dealership quoted.

My family and I have been customers of Allen's Wrench for about as long as I can remember, at minimum 20+ years. They have serviced all my parents, parents, grandparents, and my siblings cars through out the years. We refer everyone to them, as they give an honest evaluation - even if they can't do the job, they'll refer you to someone reputable who can. They work quickly and for an absolutely fair price. Steve, Dennis, and the team at Allens Wrench are the best. They don't bs you ever, always do an excellent job, are super knowledgeable/helpful, and are just overall great dudes to chat with. Feels like family. It's so rare to be able to take your car anywhere for repairs/maintenance and get honest, reliable service at reasonable rates, but Allens Wrench always delivers on those fronts. I've been taking my cars to them for two decades and won't go anywhere else.

Am a loyal customer for overv6 years, so is boyfriend and daughter. We live 20-25 minutes away. But it is worth the drive. Crew is honest, knowledgeable and nice! Garage is clean and organized. Scheduled appointments run smoothly. Rates are fair and feasible.

We started going to this 5 star shop after Pep Boys bought Premier Auto (Harry;s place). I love how Dennis and Steve run this place. I can't say enough about how accomodating and fair they are with providing a service that is in the best interest of the vehicle and us as customers.Here's an example. My alternator went out on a 2005 Avalon one afternoon when we were going to let friends from MA borrow the car for their vacation in San Diego. AAA diagnosed the problem. Steve said drive it up here and let me take a look. And yes it needed an alternator (new battery and belt). They had it done by 11 am the next morning (with no appointment).These guys are simply the best! I love taking my 5 vehicles here. Thank you Dennis. Steve, Denny and the technicians that I don't yet know.

I decided to give Allen's Wrench a try because of all the positive reviews and I was not disappointed, these guys are great. They were able to get my car in the same day for brakes. Steve was friendly and helpful and provided a very reasonable quote for the work. Turns out I needed all new brakes and rotors and they did a fantastic job. The brakes feel like they did when the car was new, I'm super happy. I will definitely be bringing my car back here for all service needs going forward.

I have been taking my cars to Allen's Wrench for years now, and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. It's always hard to find a mechanic you trust, and I trust them completely. I know that anytime something is wrong, it is something that needs fixing and they take care of it quickly and the price is always more than fair. Steve and the guys are great, I highly recommend Allen's Wrench for your freign car repair needs!

Been going here for about 20 years. My dad introduced me to them and I won't go anywhere else. Steve and the gang are always so willing to help and explain things to us non-car inclined folk. They're honestly one of the 20 reasons I won't leave North Country/San Marcos. Always positive, fair, and informative. If you take your car anywhere else, you're doing your car and yourself a huge disservice.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Oil change

Friends at work have recommended this place for years. I took a relative's Acura there after it had sat idle for a year and rats had invaded the engine compartment. Stephen was professional and friendly and had the car back after a couple of days. No major damage was found but a bad place could have easily gouged us. So nice to find an honest place.

Great price and fast service. I recommend 100%. No matter how many times I come here they never fail to impress me. I have used a ton of mechanics. These folks are top tier and their reviews do not lie.
