For SLO county, Villa does it all, the first time. Sinple oil changes to complete engine work all done by Certified mechanics or even a mechanical Engineer. They are open 7 days a week, provide free rides, own their own towing service and body shop. ATTN GERMAN CAR OWNERS: Don't waste your time and money elsewhere (like I have). Villa has the mechanics that the other guys wish they had! Call or just go in, first.

While visiting from out of town, we decided to try Villa Automotive for brakes on my wife s Lexus. Villa turned out to be an excellent decision. Very professional, clean and efficient. I will gladly use them again when in the area.

My truck broke down near San Luis Obispo while hauling a horse trailer on a Sunday. I found out about Villa Automotive and the tow truck driver said they were actually open. When we arrived the incredibly helpful shop manager said they could look at the truck right away and even better they had a diesel mechanic available. While we were setting up the paperwork she said we could put the trailer on the street, she offered the AAA discount and offered to give a ride somewhere if I needed it. She also mentioned that if I could not make it by their 5pm close time that she could wait until 5:30 or she could leave the truck on the street with the keys stashed and I could pay over the phone. They were able to fix the truck the same day and recommended a better part for the one that was faulty. When I got back to pick up the truck later that afternoon, she had sprayed off the coolant from the outside and inside of the truck so it would not smell so bad. In short 1. Open on Sunday 2. Diesel mechanic 3. Great follow up. 4. Great customer service. I wish they were in Santa Barbara too. Can t say enough good things about their customer service and expertise.

First time having my car worked on at Villa Auto Repair, what a great experience I had, they were so helpful when my car was towed there. I will let all my friends and family know to take their vehicle for repair or oil change. I'm very thankful for all their help. I will definitely be taking my car there from now on. Thank you everyone for all your hard work and professionalism and Sid I appreciate you taking me back and forth to work while my car was being repaired.

They were able to accommodate my <24-hour notice appointment request online, communicated clearly by phone and email, completed the work needed (and only what was needed, no surprises), all within the same day. My car broke down when I was vacationing in SLO and I needed to leave that evening to make my flight back home. I called Villa Automotive in the morning and they were able to get my car in right away. The staff were all very knowledgeable and super helpful. They diagnosed the problem in one hour and were able to get me back on the road in time to make it home. I could not be happier with their service and knowledge.

Super awesome! As someone from out of town just going to college knowing nothing about their car this place was wonderful. Everyone was super kind and I would recommend going! I trust them completely with my car and if I need any other services I will 100% be back!

While vacationing at the coast , our transmission went out on our Tahoe over the weekend.Villa automotive was open on the weekend and able to diagnose and fix the problem . They were very thorough and transparent throughout whole process and now our vehicle is running great.

Five stars! It was my first time in and I was happy that I could just drop in for a smog check. It didn't take long but while I was waiting I heard the some of the staff talking to customers. It was nice to hear the great customer service when they were explaining the issues clearly and spelling out the options for the customers. I believe Villa Automotive is fair and honest. It was also fun to look at the pictures on the walls with the company history. I'll be returning when my car needs work.Service: Emissions testing

Got a completely flat tire while in downtown SLO and had my car towed here because they were open past 5. Great service and experience! Dealing with a flat, a tow truck, and 2 young kids is enough to ruin anyone s day but AJ and the team at Villas helped get us back on the road. They were able to patch our tire and get us in and out, and charged us a very reasonable amount. Thank you Villa Team!!

I was having problems with my battery, and after calling AAA twice within a few days (Friday), I found that Villa Automotive was the only one open who could take me in. They found the problem within 15 minutes and discussed the best route to take. They put in a new battery, and because my old battery was purchased less than a year ago from a car dealer, Villa made sure there was a paper trail and explanation about the situation so that I could get a refund on my old battery. Villa is super helpful. I highly recommend them.

Super quick smog, and they are star certified. Ron was very helpful, got me in and out in less than and hour, and even fixed something on my battery without charging me. Great place!

The customer service is wonderful. The technicians skills are above board. They have a full complement of diagnostic tools for any kind of tricky electrical or computer problems. I do wish the prices were a little lower, but there could be very good reasons as to why they are what they are. Place is excellent and they're open 7 days a week and their hours are outside normal business hours so the working professional can easily drop off and pick up their car.

I was in town for an event and the unexpected happen, my car would not start the morning of my event. I wasn't sure what was wrong, and I was freaking out because it was Saturday and I didnt know who I could contact since most shops close on Saturdays and I am not familiar with the area. I did a Google search and found Villa automotives. I immediately called and they said I could take my car in. My car wasnt starting so I asked if they had a tow truck or knew a tow truck company I could contact. They gave me the number for Slo Tow. I called and my car was towed to the shop!I am super grateful for everyone from the tow truck driver to the wonderful staff at Villa automotives. I spoke to Ron and he took down all my info, they inspected my car and then told me they could have it ready in 2 to 3 hours. The service ended up taking less than 2 hours! My event started at 2pm. I was out of the car shop by 12pm.I am eternally grateful to the tow truck company and auto shop for getting me back on the road ASAP. My day started horribly but their compassion and fast service saved the day. I am not exaggerating. Their service was great! Yes, I paid more than expected, but they got me back on the road in less than 2 hours, they were open on a SATURDAY, and were super polite through it all. I'd say that what I paid was worth it!!

They had our work truck for one week. They never called to update us. We called daily to check on it. At the one week mark when I called Rich was annoyed and said you guys call twice a day and I told you we need to get a lift . I was put off by his demeanor as I was just checking the status of our truck as it had been a whole week. I wonder if he wouldn t call on his truck if someone had it for a week and still hadn't put it on a lift so they could diagnose what was wrong. Paid $180. No diagnostic results and it s not fixed. I m actually OK that it s not fixed and that there s no diagnostic results. I m not OK with the lack of communication and him being short with me on the phone because I called to check on the truck that my husband uses for work daily. Their message on their phone says they are honest, fair, cost-effective, and can fix anything. I would say that s not true and they can add, they are poor communicators. When I picked the truck up, the guy pulled it around, and jokingly said well, it still runs ! Very unprofessional. The gal at the front desk was very sweet.

I dropped in a little over an hour before closing time, needing to smog my vehicle. I was greeted right away and the next thing I knew, I was checked in, checked out, and my car had passed the inspection! I couldn t have asked for more friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, and trustworthy service.Their prices are fair, and they can service and repair pretty much everything imaginable for your automobile. I appreciate the fact that they re not a dealership or a franchise, with profit margins and labor hours dictating their every move.I feel safer with their experienced mechanics who are familiar the mechanics of a car and can identify any issues without connecting a little machine to get the code to put in Google. At Villa s, they re knowledgeable and trustworthy, and stand behind their work 100%. That s a peace of mind you won t get at Jiffy Lube or your local ________ dealer.Thank you, Villa s. You ve definitely got a new devotee here !

I had a family emergency where I needed to go out of town asap however a light was on in my car so I went to Villa for the first time and I will always go back there.The staff is outstanding, helpful, nice, caring and reliable. I highly recommend Villa to everyone!!!

I have been a customer of Villa Motors for many years, and consider them very good mechanics.Not the least expensive but worth it! Rich has always been great at customer service too. They have over the years helped with a Honda CRV, two different Subaru Foresters, my son s Impreza. and most recently my 2002 Miata.Nice having a go to shop to rely on!

Honda Civic 04 starter replacement(only the starter) and they charged me $500 for the part and $185 for an 1hr of labor. It is almost comical how hard I got ripped off. I should have gone elsewhere, but I needed it done right then and there. That is the meanest part mark up I think I have ever seen. It makes me very sad that they are doing that to their customers and the community.

If you re going for smog and have a CARB sticker save your time and money and go anywhere else. $70 for a smog and the owner failed me due to a throttle spacer, when I showed him my carb sticker he started yelling and swearing at me claiming it was for something else. I searched the CARB number myself and showed him he was wrong. Out of pure arrogance he swore at me again claiming they re the best smog/ mechanic shop , before proceeding to re smog and pass my truck after no changes except me proving their incompetence with CARB stickers. One star due to the fact that owner and other smog tech both apologized for their negligence.

My Honda Odyssey's engine light started flashing 220 miles from home on a Saturday afternoon. We were so happy that Villa Automotive's Jesus took the car in. Little that we knew that we were going to be HORRIBLY OVERCHARGED for a 5 minute "diagnosis". One of the engine's coil needed a replacement and the next morning the car was fixed in no time. We were grateful HOWEVER: The car was not totally fixed at all as the engine has given out weird noises and the car is not stable at all. And we were charged for $400!!!! WHAT A RIP OFF. $300 for the diagnosis alone. Now we need to take the car in for inspection and more diagnosis. Crazy. Disgrace!!! If you have time DO SHOP AROUND as Villa Automotive will pray on you no matter what. Even in the expensive Bay Area this kind of diagnosis is around $100.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Great service! Very patient, friendly and understanding staff. I had an appointment for a smog. I arrived on time with a leak in a tire. They postponed my appointment and recommend I get the tire fixed before the local tire shops closed. They continued with the appointment upon my return, like 30 minutes past appointment time. Showed caring for customers best interest. Highly recommend this shop.
