Solid customer service!! Been buying tires from these guys for many years because of the good deals, and the other day they took such good care of me that I had to post this review. I had a nail in my tire so I stopped by to see if they could help me real quick, and they did exactly that. They had me pull into a stall immediately and one of their guys got to work right then. I was in and out in 15min, it was exceptional, and they told me that this one was on them I was pumped! Highly recommend giving them a try if you are looking for new tires!

This crew is the absolute best. I am from SLO and live out of state now, but I am lucky to visit every 6 months or so. I make sure to give them my business whenever it is time to get something done. They have an excellent shop in the back, and the team in the tire store is the greatest. They are kind, efficient, and totally on the ball. They are always good to me, my family, and friends. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Fast, extremely nice and helpful. Went in because I thought there was a nail in my tire- there was but it was a small one that didn t puncture anything. The staff filled up and checked all my tires - all for free. Blown away. So nice and when I go to get tires I ll be buying from here.

Great, great service since 1987 when I moved here. Back then the original owners, brothers, owned it. They are sll dead now, but their culture lives on. Every once in a while I ll check prices and they are lower. Prices are out the door price. That includes mounting and balance, plus fast service. The down side is it can get crowded in there, so go at not popular times. Regardless you will get served, just go to counter and tell them what you need, and they will advise time situation. Joey and/or Kevin are usually at front.

Hands down best automotive repair place on the Central Coast. I have taken my Honda many places from Santa Maria to Atascadero over the last 6 years and had horrendous experiences along the way. From my car (often times) that came out more broken then it went in, to being treated like I must be stupid because I m a woman to rude repairmen. But every time I have gone to the tire store on Higuera here in SLO I drive away smiling. Not only have the fixed the problem but the service is top notch. Friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. I recommend this place to everyone, especially women. I ve always gotten fair prices, honest answers and quick service. Thank you all again for fixing what you had no part in breaking. It is a pleasure every single time. 10 out of 10. THANK YOU

I can t say enough about how well these guys treat both my tires and myself! They have the best selection of tires with competitive prices, outstanding customer service (which seems to be diminishing in this area), honesty and overall excellent communication and professionalism. JUST GO! They also offer brake service at their sister location on same site. Thank you Tire Store! You guys ROCK!!

I have bought several sets of tires from The Tire Store.The Tire Store has also provided several "No Charge Services": including tire repair, tire rotation, alignment checks, etc.The Tire Store, Joe "up front", Ron "the alignment shop in back" and the entire staff are all very honest and professional.They epitomize the definition of "World Class Service".The Tire Store has competitive prices combined with great services.We are lucky to have them in our community.Thank you!

Incredibly honest outfit. A competitor quoted DOUBLE the price this business did for the same Michelin tires. If you shop around, in the final analysis this place has the best price not to mention the small, efficient army of staff that change your tires in a jiffy so there is virtually no wait! Give this business a try and you will never regret it! Here it is written.

The manager works with you and doesn't try to sell anything that you don't want or don't need. They are friendly courteous professional and they have a well-oiled machine. They not only do tires, but they do brakes alignments and other vehicle needs. I wanted a certain brand of tire, and they were able to order it and give me a fair price for it, which far surpassed all the other tire shops in the surrounding cities. I'm very happy that I took my business to the tire store and appreciate all their hard work.

They patched a tire with a nail in it and reset all of my tire psi and somehow did it without a charge? I still don t understand why? I could tell they were honest, hardworking people and I will get my new tires from them when I need one replaced.

I was on a road trip and needed my tire repaired due to a nail punctureTire shop manager was so kind and welcoming. Fortunately, my tire did not need to be replaced and it was determined it could be patched . The manager did not charge me for the repair!! Wow! Amazing professional service!! Thank you!!

Dishonest in the Back. Be Careful.Don't get a wheel alignment brakes done here!wheel alignment Starting price $2000.You'll need lower control arms and other stuff, whether you need it or not.go anywhere else. Big Brand Tire & Service did a nice job correcting there work.

Highly recommend The Tire Store. I ve been taking my cars here for years and always refer all my family and friends in need. The team is knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and always speedy. The prices are always fair and they ve always been generous in the event of a patch needed. By far the best in the county.

Great experience. Tire and wheel purchase can be confusing and complicated especially for off-road vehicles but Joe walked me through all the options and the pricing was very fair because of the great efficiency of the operation, which is apparent.

My dad has been coming here for years and I've learned long ago that good service in all areas is not always easy to find no wonder why this place has been around for so long in SLOIn particular I want to give Francisco a shout out today came in spare the moment had two nails in my back tire he got them out immediately without hesitation very kind very friendly Thank you so much.I just wanted to add to my review and thank you guys so very much today my dad had a blowout on the 101 near Higuera and a man (who I will remain anonymous since I don't have his permission) helped my elderly dad by changing his tire and not leaving him and talking to him through this difficult time he was having so much anxiety however this man may have been a guardian angel for my dad was thankfully only shook up. So when they arrived to you shop this man who I a regular customer there and back in the day my dad was too were able to get help from Joey and this man and Joey made sure not only my dad was okay your shop when above and beyond and for that I thank this man for helping get my dad to your shop safely and for you guys taking care of him there truly are not many people or shops around like this anymore thank you guys and God bless you all.

I love these guys so much. Such good energy! Which makes a big difference when you re stressing about car trouble. They ve done my tires a couple times and do other non mechanical stuff like brakes axels etc. they also are so supportive if I have another issue and are happy to give recommendations. Big love for this iconic SLO institution.

The reviews don't lie. I had a slow leak in my passenger front tire and some sidewall damage. Dangerously low when I discovered it, filled it back up. I limped over to costo but they were really slammed. Did some quick research and turns out the reviews for The Tire Store were excellent.I nearly turned away after seeing how busy they were but in spite of the traffic at 3PM on a Friday afternoon, 2 hours to closing, I was promptly helped, we decided to replace the two front tires with a set of Toyos. They had me in and out of there in under an hour for under 300.I used to change, plug and patch tires when I was a lot younger and the team knew what they were doing. I watched them properly torque each lug nut which is very appreciated. Easy in, easy out, good experience, very low drama. Great local business that deserves the high marks they're getting.
