Admittedly, i called SLOG&T to redo a botched windshield job. It turns out that replacing a windshield is difficult if you've never done it before lol.Well, Billy came out and was super helpful and understanding. After assessing the detritus I left him, he did an absolutely amazing job. He cleaned up all of the urethane that I got everywhere and made my daughter's 1991 Jeep Wrangler look like new. Thanks Billy!

The staff was very helpful when I went in for a minor warranty issue on my LLumar paint protection film. They could ve easily told me it was just a maintenance issue that was my problem. Instead, they spent about three hours of staff time taking care of it without a complaint. The Lumar product is terrific. Little Scratches are easily rubbed out. Our SUV has about 55,000 miles on it now and usually by this time it would be covered in small scratches. We basically have none!

ABSOLUTE PRO. I have been to so many shops and have had lots of cars so my 2 cents is the best advice you will get. This place is PRO. GREAT tint work!! Award winning .. and SUPER honest.. ! we all need Honesty these days.. My windshield was not that bad (just some chips) I wanted to change it but Tony the owner gave me great advice and saved me money.. Thats a pro! I will be doing my tint here again to repair the poor work form the last place. no need to mention the name of the last place, because HERE is were you should go. Go now!! Slo Glass and tint is the best..

Windshield was damaged on 101 and needed replacement while on vacation in SLO. They were able to get the glass in 2 days, reasonable price, went in at 8am and left at 930am. Leanne was responsive and helpful

Excellent customer service and very accommodating. We had two windshields replaced within two months on both cars and both times they were great! They bill the insurance and complete the paperwork. If there were 10 stars, I would give them 11. Not only was their workmanship excellent, but their customer service was the best we've ever had. Huge thank you to the team for being so friendly to my friendly and I, and to doing great work. The fine folks at SLO Auto Glass & Tint walked me through every step of the window tinting process and were very fair with pricing and timeline. The work was finished on time and their communication was excellent.Since the install I had a minor issue with the tint peeling due to my own negligence and they went above and beyond to take care of it under warranty.I'd happily recommend them to anyone looking for tinting or auto glass repair as they're a great business!Service: Installation

This place was amazing, from customer service to technicians. We had a completely shattered rear window and they provided a temporary seal with no charge. Cracked windshield on my 97 Toyota Tacoma.The technician who came all the way out to Cayucos to replace it for me found that there was too much rust to do so. The truck needed some auto bodywork before the windshield could be replaced, which I decided not to have done because of the potential cost.The technician had to remove the molding around the windshield in order to inspect it which left the truck looking a little rough.I spent two days exploring various options for replacing the molding myself when I decided to give San Luis Auto Glass and Tint a call . They said I could bring the truck in that very day and the technician could help with the lack of molding problem.I drove in and Immediately the keys were in the hands of the technician who worked on it.From where I was in the office I could see the technician working on my truck and the Care he was taking with it. I Could see that he gave the same time and attention to my old pick up that he would have given to a new Lexus.My point is .I was well taken care of, even though my truck was old; and so I m compelled to write this strong recommendation they didn t have to Replace the molding at all. It was just goodness on their part.The result was a Job that was done right and looked good for which I was only charged $27. A Nominal amount. I'm very impressed with slo glass and tint. When you speak to Leannah she listens and understands. John who work on my window, very knowledgeable, and he fix my window. All I was doing was getting a quote. Then it was happy news years all over again, for me. Lol Thank you Leannah and John . Very nice people who did it for a fair price. I would recommend their service over Safelite Repair in Santa Maria because they wanted to charge me $290 while SLO Auto Glass & Tint charged me under $230 and they did a great job! I highly recommend this business! They have affordable prices and are very customer service oriented. I had a rear window replaced here because this place was recommended to me by someone I knew who had gotten a window replaced here too. I was very impressed with the service I received. My window needed to be ordered, so I could not get it replaced immediately and was concerned about having an exposed broken window. They were so nice as to put on a layer of crash plastic to cover the broken window until the next day. The next day, while the window was being replaced, they kindly turned the television on so my child could enjoy some cartoons while we waited. And, upon leaving with the replaced window, I noticed they had cleared away all the broken glass that was in the trunk. Every employee I encountered there was very polite and friendly. They all seemed very attentive to the needs and happiness of their customers.

I've had both of my cars tinted here, and they do an excellent job. I would recommend booking the first appointment of the day to ensure that you're taken on time. That or plan on dropping your car off to pick up later.Their scheduling system is a bit odd, and their appointments do overlap depending on the number of crew members on -site each day. If there is 1 person on duty and you book an 8:30 appointment while there was also an 8 am booking? Your 8:30 appointment will really be a 9:30.)

Really professional place. I took my truck in for window film. They did the heat shield on the windshield. This is an absolute must. The dash is significantly less hot when I get in. Cooling down the cabin takes less time, less Ac etc. they did a phenomenal job.

I had my Vanagon tinted by Doug at San Luis Customs. I checked all over the county and they had the best price plus the lifetime 3M guarantee. The job was done in about a half a day in spite of all the windows. Very pleased with the result and it has held up well.

This place is kind of strange. They seen busy and not busy of the same time period I don't know if I was the 1st to have to sit outside but it got very hot and uncomfortable waiting for hours to have my car fixed. It took a very long time for them to install and adjust my Honda sensing. The Honda sensing didn't work correctly so I had brought bring it back, and they could not actually fix it which may or may not be the fault of theirs but by being sent to Honda dealer to have it adjusted.

Was looking to get my new ride's windows tinted and had shopped around various SLO county shops, and these guys are the best price/cost value around. Great customer service from the start such as providing me price quote and tons of info over the phone, were able to get me in the next day for an appointment, and again were super patient and helpful in answering all my questions (seriously got a Window Tinting 101 lesson from Leeanna!).While in, I learned they also do paint protection via a transparent film so I opted to add that to my front hood -- they gave me a good deal as I was already in there for the windows. And this film is such a good product, I'll probably get other sections of my car done in the future.It's been now 3-4 days, so the windows have now cured/dried and I am extremely happy with how great it looks from both interior and exterior. Love the UV and heat protection too! Definitely recommend this shop for any of your auto window/paint needs!

I had my brand new 2017 Ford C-Max tinted with LLumar CTX in back and Air 80 in front and it turned out great! Friendly service, a good fair price I didn't feel the need to shop around, and truly professional results made for a great experience. Thanks guys! Love the look of my new car! Highly recommend!

Windshield Replaced and windows tinted. New window is looking Good and tint seems fine so far. Drove off and my rearview mirror fell off, was never put back on. Lucky it was not broken. Park to put that back on and its covered in water marks and finger prints. Drive off to see in my rearview mirror a puddle of water sloshing around on my back dash. Watching it dump into my speakers and the seats as I drive. Good thing i keep towels in the trunk and I hope my speakers work after I let them dry out...Cleaned what little water remained out and noticed the inside of the cars trim is completely covered in water stains from the tint job as well.I expected this establishment to be professional about the installs and was why I chose them, even with the very high prices for tint I paid but got less. I would not recommend.
