I ve been coming here for 4-5 years. They are quick and courteous. I feel as a woman they re honest with me and tell me facts not fluff. Nothing pushy like some oil change shops. They re good people and I ve always left with a smile. Pricing seems reasonable as well.

Absolutely 5 star positive experience! They smog, oil and service class B vans so that already was a plus. Next they were able to get me in for smog and were done in 8 minutes! I had so much time before Megan's Organic Market opened, I got an oil change done! Everybody was super nice and accommodating! Back in august I had transmission serviced by this place. They told me that it didn t need a filter change . Flushed system with new machine. Three days later the the transmission failed . I have since returned vehicle to dealer for refund because of engine issues and other problems . Having worked on cars over 50 years , and educating myself on proper service, I don t recommend anyone talked into this service and go to a certified mechanic who will change filters as well as fluid . I will never use or recommend this business again .Service: Transmission

Took my van into this shop for a repair to be done, they ended up putting in a used part that was broken. I know because I bought the part myself and fixed the car myself. I went here again for another visit and they will ask you to Venmo them or pay cash and if you ask for a receipt they will give you a Quote as if they didn t do the work this place needs to be shut down what a bunch of scammers!Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

On our trip from Santa Cruz to Orange County we just happened to be stopping for coffee and pulled over when our water pump blew right in front of this shop on a Friday at 3:30pm. They scrambled to get the pump delivered asap and got us back on the road by 5pm. With all of our luggage and e-bikes in tow I can only imagine what our trip would have looked like had they not been so accommodating!

I ve never had such a positive experience with anything to do with my car! Lube N Go is the best!!! They were SO quick to complete my smog, so friendly and nice, and even have coupons on their website! All around great service and a top notch choice!

The owner and all his employees are wonderful! Honest, and don't try to force you to get things done that you don't need. Very helpful though, and explain everything clearly. They also do great work, and are time efficient. Highly recommend this place!

Fastest oil change I've ever gotten! Normally do my own but this was my work truck. Staff was super cool, and I was in and out within 15 minutes or less on a Friday afternoon. Thank you guys!

So weird, this place was recommended by another mechanic and the reviews were great so I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, my experience was not what I expected.Please tell me if its normal to be charged $120 for an oil change, on a 2022 Honda crv? I ve never paid that much for an oil change in my life. I have never done a review online before but I had to give these guys five stars for the service they provided today. I went in for an oil change. I have been a customer with Lube N Go for about 5 to 6 years. I have been more than satisfied with them. I'm disabled and they treat me like family.The young men's there make sure I'm comfortable they make sure they open the door for me. They have assist me with my Walker as it's easy for me to get out but not to put back in.They have no reservation on suggesting anything they feel, really feel I might need. They do not push to sell me anything like some do, more than a few and the question I ask is giving back to me with eye contact and respect.Yep if y'all have never been you need to go to Lube N Go

The price and oil change were fine. The customer service was not. One guy in particular was rude and disrespectful. They had no other customers and got my oil change done in 15 mins, but the hour wait at jiffy lube may have been worth it to support a business that values its customers.

Went in for basic oil change, the older man with very blue eyes (assuming the sales manager) didn t try to hide his irritation that he had a customer to speak to. Made me feel unwelcome from the start. He told me that if I didn t change my air filter and a carbon filter that I would get Valley Fever among other pollutions. My glove box had been rummaged through as well. I arrived anticipating spending $40 on a basic oil change and I was charged $117 due to dishonesty. I am honestly disgusted by the manager s customer service.Service: Oil change

Just left the facility after requesting a smog test and the owner was exceptionally disrespectful from the onset. I thought he may have had a rough one before me so I brushed it off and walked into the office and immediately heard him cussing about me up and down to another employee for having to enter numbers manually, simply because I brought a different registration then he was used to. After him saying "this F****** guy.... Followed by more expletives directed at me while I was waiting in the office I left the facility without service. 0/5 would recommend this facility to anyone for any reason.

I got there early and was done and out the door in about 15 minutes. The staff was great...not trying to up sell services I didn't want/need. Amazing value for the great service. My go-to for my regular maintenance now.2002 Honda Civic EX

Went in to get my oil changed & air conditioning serviced. Was told by the technician that there were no leaks. Freon added. 2 days later the A/C didn't work again, freon all leaked out. Returned to the shop with my receipt. On the receipt it states there was a leak. The same technician stated there was no leak & they would not fix the leak, or refill the freon unless I paid an additional $500. Buyer beware!

Waited two hours for a smog and smog never happened! Seriously. They quoted me a 45 minute wait and I got back 75 minutes later and no car. Waited and assured almost done. When I got up to ask Omar stated "they are done and I just need to print up up the smog certificate in 5 minutes." Then nothing, nobody in sight. I went back to the back garage and my car was there w/ no activity. I asked the mechanic in the garage about my car and he hadn't started it yet! I was flat out lied to that my car was done. I backed my car out of the garage and left. Pure garbage.

Having worked for a couple local mechanic shop in the san luis obispo area.I definitely can speak from experience thatLube n go does smog right! remember it is against the law to pass a vehicle with emissions issues. Bad for our environment. lube n go does a pass or don't pay policy which is extremely fair.other shops say they are for you. but they would gladly take your money for a simple obd2 not ready fail.Lube n go is the spot for smog in the SLO Area.

I like these guys. They don't try to increase the tab with all kinds of extras and I think they're honest and competent. I also do way more than just regular service here. I haven't had any problem with my car so far they can't fix. And once when I got a faulty part that had been installed about 6 weeks prior to the problem occurring, they had it yanked out of there and replaced in no time for no charge.

Went to have my Honda smogged. The tech made sure to notice that the cat converter that came with the car and was still in good working condition was not a currently approved model and failed the car. His interpretation of the rules was not the same as the 3 previous technicians who successfully passed the car before.The good news is they did not charge me for the failed test.The bad news is that this is the 4th time we have had this car smogged and the other technicians were working for us , not the government and did not worry about the converter since it was originally approved, still worked fine and was stock on the car. Their interpretation of the rules was customer centered, Lube N GO was government centered and did not care about their effect on their customer.We took the car to a different smog shop where it passed with no difficulty.

To put it simply they Mustve seen me as someone that was ignorant and gullible. They told me $310/hr for labor was normal. The guy i spoke with treated me as though i was stupid for asking Questions. It was only 11:20am and they had no other customers i was told they couldn't install the spark plugs and oil / filter til next day at 8am. I had brought new plugs, oil filter and oil so it's not because they didn't have parts in Stock or something. Sleazy mechanics here, avoid if you can.

Summary: quick and thorough service, friendly staff, competitive prices, quoted for all work ahead of time. Was given a sticker for only 3k miles though, limited oil & filter selection. Service was good, but not 'amazing'.I would recommend taking your car here if you were trying to get your oil changed within a lunch break.Pros: quick service, got my oil changed in just over 15 minutes. Friendly staff, were upfront with the pricing, and explained why I had a few extra charges (my car requires 7 quarts of oil). Answered any questions I had about the service. The service technician reset my automatic oil change notification even though it hadn't started showing up yet.Cons: My car requires full synthetic oil, but the sticker I was given was for only 3k miles. Full synthetic is fine for 5-7k miles of normal driving, so I would have preferred to have a 5K sticker, or at least the option to choose between 3, 5 or 7k miles. They also didn't have a selection of oil or oil filters, however, the oil they did have available was a top end name brand oil recommend by the manufacturer. I have no idea what oil filter was installed though.Overall, it was a straight no B.S. oil change and nothing more. No upselling on oil, not trying to sell me additional services. No made up issues with the car. Drove in, told them what I wanted done, talked with the guys as they were servicing it and they were knowledgeable and friendly, and explained everything involved.If you just want an oil change done without added bs, this is the go to. If you are looking for a slow but detailed and in depth oil change and service, go to jiffy lube down the street. They will do a thorough inspection and upsell you on additional servicing for your vehicle (such as checking all lights and air filters), but if you understand cars and just want to get an oil change done with, Lube n Go is the place. The prices are close to identical for a simple oil change.
