This man fixed a car that wouldn t go over 60 mph he was a bit rude when explaining that my car needed work but he was honest (the only part that saved him in this review is his beautiful wife). and that hurts people at times if they don t got the money. Ill be back soon for repairs Boss all the repairs we spoke about don t count me out I don t care how much it costs this car is mine.Services: Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement

I didn t have any work done as they aren t able to service Volvos anymore so this rating is strictly on customer service as the person who answered the phone was very helpful and straight to the point. Even though they weren t able to help with fixing my car he didn t rush me off the phone and was able to explain why they weren t able to fix my car.

I just inherited a 2010 Q5 with 105K miles that had been sitting unused for 1.5 years. I knew the battery was dead and it needed an oil change, and I needed it to get me to Oregon within a couple days. I took it to Eric - my first experience with this shop. I'd made an appointment 1.5 weeks ahead, concerned that there might be trouble sourcing the right battery in this season. I came into town and the day of the appointment I called and they were ready for me, battery in hand. Nice to see the follow through!Eric got the requested services done and got the Q5 running reliably. His report on the overall vehicle inspection was very thorough, and though he mentioned a couple other items that could use attention he pointed out that they were not essential for my immediate road trip needs and could wait. No pressure to do unnecessary work.A friend of mine (who is a mechanic at an Audi dealership in AZ) texted me asking how the car fix was going. Everything I passed on from Eric, my friend said was spot-on. Not that I ever doubted Eric, but my Audi mechanic friend's affirmation is a vote of confidence. If I'm back in the area with this car and need service, I'll take it to Eric.UPDATE: I made the trip from the Bay to Portland in one shot. The Q5 ran like a champ. I went to the shop today and was greeted with negative attitude the second I walked in the door. I asked for Eric the owner for help with codes that my OBD2 scanner sensed. He proceeded to give backhanded comments and besmirched another business that I go to for Oil changes calling me low hanging fruit and an average driver while looking smug at me. Regardless, he did reluctantly read the codes and give general advice on a proposed way to find the problem and basically told me he didn t want my business and to go back to the other business for help. I came in with a great attitude, got all the way through the conversation with good intentions and left with an upset feeling and anger that a car shop owner would treat a possible customer like such. Im not sure if I was the problem or the anger towards the other business I came from, either way the customer service was horrendous and wouldn t recommend coming here as a new customer.

World Import is my go to repair shop for my 2012 ML350. I have been a customer since 2017 and Service is excellent and thorough. We have used Eric for about 7 years now for BMW, Mercedes and Mini Cooper. He is very knowlegeable and provides great service at a fair price. It seems that the Dealers have become cash extraction systems with a thin veneer of service and as soon as the mnfg warranty expires we happily dump them for quality at World Import Car Services. Had some maybe obvious but really helpful advice for a car novice like myself. He owns pretty much the same Mini Cooper as we had and had already gone through the issues I was coming in for.

I have a 2013 BMW 320i with over 100k miles. I really recommend this shop for German vehicles. Eric is so helpful, honest and informative. Scheduling is easy and on top of everything EXCELLENT quality of work and customer service!

Eric the owner is very professional and honest. I always bring my AUDI A8 here for services in the last 4 years. His shop is very clean and organize. Highly recommended this for all European vehicle repairs and maintenance.

I went to ask questions in regards to my BMW. I got to the door they would not open the door. I m a black man. Asked if they were open he said yes. He proceeded to talk to me through the glass. Long story short he called the San Leandro police. They said he had the right to do business with any one or not do business with anyone. I ve never met this man, no prior history. This happened today or 4-12-22. Three Police cars came out for this incident.

Asked for an estimate and even before he knew what is wrong with the car he said he wouldn't give me an estimate if the car is not there. First think that comes to my mind is that he will try to rip me off
