I came here to get our CX5 serviced. My Service Advisor was Alex. He was excellent and provided phenomenal white glove service. He did a walkthrough and a video prior to service, and also during service with recommendations. I didn t even know my wipers were damaged and so I got them replaced here. They even gave me a complimentary wash for my CX5. Amazing!! This San Leandro location is huge. Love the modern ambiance, very clean, huge space and roomy with plenty of areas to sit and wait for your vehicle. There are several areas with tables where you wait and work too. It was also very nice that all of the team members in this dealership were super friendly. I managed to sit inside the driver seat of their new Miata at their showroom. Looking forward to getting our CX5 serviced here, and if you re looking for your next Mazda, I highly recommend you come here. They have excellent service.Cheers!

I had a great experience buying my car here. However the service times are very long and making an appointment does no good. I needed a simple tire replaced today and spent more than 2 hours waiting. Recommend going elsewhere.

This was my first visit to Mazda San Leandro and it was a pleasant experience. I wasn t sure what to expect. I ve always had mediocre service at dealerships, but today was a great day. Everyone was nice and professional. The video inspection was a first for me and I really appreciated that. I felt like the whole interaction was honest and fair. My car was completed in the timeframe given. The checkout was quick. Overall, I had a really great experience. I ll be back.

Ray was our sales representative at San Leandro. He walked us through in details of the car - from using the app to manually using the car key fob if the battery ran out. There were a few shortcuts he taught us on the car that we did not know from our research. Ray was patient and was able to answer all of our questions. I would definitely refer him to my family/friends. Thanks Ray! We loved our 2024 Mazda Cx-90!

Alex and Phay are the best. I've taken my car in twice now, which is obviously not ideal, but they made sure the experience didn't feel like a burden. The inspection video is helpful, and the advice I received was top notch. Whenever my mazda needs service I'll be bringing it back here.

I know I'm probably paying more bringing my car to Mazda vs other service places, but I like the level of service they provide. I don't feel like they try to upsell me or push me to purchase things that aren't necessary. They also text me videos of their reps inspecting my car and pointing out what I should do and what is ok to leave as is. Alex at the front desk is also very friendly and helpful - he goes above and beyond to ensure I'm satisfied with everything.

This is one of the most pleasant service experiences I ve had at any car dealership. The process is super simple, the service rep was very knowledgeable, and it s a nice quiet atmosphere to get some work done while waiting for your vehicle.

Phay at the service department was great! He helped me get my car fixed after a body shop put a sensor incorrectly. They gave me a loaner in the meantime too. Shout out to Alex and the manager as well. Always great customer service at Mazda San Leandro.

Did a minor service at this dealer which is a little bit far from me. When I got halfway from home I found surprisingly that dealer added too much oil. Almost one inch more than max. They charged for 5qt oil, did they add all of them in? Spent Sunday daytime and Monday night playing a fancy game on making myself dirty with spilling oil using gas pumps bought from Amazon. Finally one worked and I took off around 700 ml oil. Did anyone ever check their oil level after doing a service at dealer? The manual does suggest a 4.8qt oil. Now I don t know what s right and wrong.

My family and I had an excellent experience buying a new CX-90 at San Leandro Mazda. A week ago I took the car for a test drive with my teenager along for the ride. Sidney, the salesman on duty, was enthusiastic about demoing the car and explaining all its features as we drove, while at the same time keeping up the friendly chat my son was having with him. We set up a time to meet the following weekend.Yesterday my family and I all returned to make the purchase. Although we were a bit early, Sidney had already driven the two specific cars I was considering (from the online inventory) right to the front door so we could easily compare them. He took care to point out the feature differences to aid our choice.My wife and I spent the next few hours Sunday evening with Sidney and the store s finance manager Arta, both of whom explained all the purchasing options and stayed cheerful all evening despite the inevitable glitches. My wife was very pleased to be treated respectfully and as my equal in status throughout the purchasing process. We did not feel at all pressured, and greatly appreciated the transparency they showed. Meanwhile our kids enjoyed the lounge, especially my son who probably drank their coffee machine dry.With the purchase completed, Sidney took our family photo with the new car in front of the shop s Mazda logo, a nice send-off. We re happy to be able to recommend that other prospective buyers ask for him by name!

We visited the dealership two different days to inquire about various options to turn in one car at the end of our lease period and lease another. Two sales reps, Sidney and Hamdi, coordinated with each other to insure that we had a great experience. Each was knowledgeable and friendly and we were confident that we were always provided correct information. Their detailed descriptions of car features were impressive and the comfortable show room added to the overall positive experience.

A million times better than the service center at the Fremont Mazda. I got in at my appointment time and there wasn t 20 other cars scheduled at the same time. They said it would take about 2 hours and it was exactly that. They updated me via text and email when they said they would and they even gave my car a free wash. Alex was knowledgeable and friendly.

I came here to purchase a vehicle because Sidney answered my phone call about an unrelated technical issue, conferred with the team, then called me back the next day with the answers I needed. I was not expecting a return call, so it was good to be wrong. The subsequent sales process was then smooth and professional.

Got an amazing experience with this purchase. It is a simple decision as they had already priced it right. Mazda product got the sweet spot. It is nice and well made, and the quality to value ratio is higher than all others in class. One negative is the logo lol as people want a flashy car will not understand this. For us, low profile, comfort ride, easy to drive, but amazing turbo and driving experience made this a special treat to drivers. I think Mazda is now aiming toward people already owned luxury cars and needs a break from the expensive maintances.

Although I did not purchase a car from this Mazda, because I preferred another vehicle, Judith P. only exuded professionalism and didn t try to force me to purchase a car. She tried, but she was kind about it lol. I told her I was looking for something else and she understood. She went on a test drive with me in 2 Mazda vehicles, I preferred the CX-9 over the CX-5, and loved the vehicle (she even picked out a great color I liked, and the price of the car was well within my budget), however I already had another one in mind that I already test drove. She showed me the process anyway for buying my first car and was very knowledgeable about the Mazdas. If I didn t purchase the other vehicle, I would ve purchased the CX-9 from her. This is a great, clean, and professional dealership (with good free lattes). I only have good things to say about it, and Judith and her business ethics. Her ethics are a reflection of the dealership. Please ask for her when going to this dealership.

I would like to give 5 stars to San Leandro Mazda. Their service and professionalism is outstanding. When I bring my car for service I always have questions and they have always taken the time to show and explain the answers they give. They have never sold me anything or any service I did not need. Cudos to Alex Z who has the patience of a saint ! Thank you for helping me maintain my Mazda!

I bought a new CX-5 yesterday, This is my first Mazda. I was pretty satisfied with the sale process; nice test drive, and inspection of the vehicle. At the time of inspection, I noted that the trunk had no cargo cover but 2 pretty large plastic wrapped items on the trunk. Based on the poor evening light, I assumed that one item contained the interior mats while the other item was the cargo cover. I completed the purchase at 7:30 p.m. and drove home pretty satisfied with my purchase. The next day, with proper sunlight, I realized that the two items in the trunk were both mats(cloth and rubber).I then returned to the dealership to turn in the title of my trade-in and to figure out why my car didn't have a cargo cover. The answer was simply: "It is an add-on accessory available for purchase at $250."At first, I was surprised; in my family, over the years, we have purchased 6 or 7 hatchback cars... never once any of the cars come without cargo cover! At that point, I asked politely if it was possible to provide the cargo cover as a complementary item (I did spend $40,000 the day before to pur have the car!)The answer was a simple "no,we can't."I left the dealership disappointed, to say the least. I am going to simply swallow this bitter pill and pay for the cargo cover. Customer service is absolutely substandard. For sure, my friends and family will not shop here if this is how they do their businessUPDATE: After reaching out to the sales team, I was told to come back on Saturday, 12/30/23, for detailing the car and to further discuss the cargo cover issue with the manager to find a resolution. The manager was completely unhelpful and stated firmly that cargo covers are considered an accessory and are included in the vehicle purchase only if it's stated in the window sticker at the time of sale. The best he could have done was to give me the employee discount.I feel absolutely disgusted by the way these people treat their customers. Needless to say that this was the first and the last time I will use this dealership.For other people intending to use this dealership, know that once you completed a transaction with them, you are no longer of value to them (unless they can squeeze more money out of you!)

This is my local Mazda dealership. They are always happy to advise me on the maintenance that is actually required on my vehicle and will check my service history to take off any services that are not needed. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The good:- The $99 minor maintenance service was a good deal, since it includes full synthetic oil change, genuine mazda parts, tire rotation, and even a carwash.- You can wait in the dealership lobby and help yourself to coffee, hot cholocate, or water. That was a huge plus, especially since I brought my son with me, who was already bored to the max.The bad:- But as soon as I came in (with an appointment) I noticed no sense of urgency. They even let the person who was behind me get helped ahead of me for no apparent reason. I waited 15 minutes just to get helped.Later, I noticed that they only pulled my car into the shop after I had already been there for nearly an hour.- They put in 5w30 oil instead of 5w20 (both manual and the oil cap recommends 5w20), and didn't even tell me about it. I had to later do my own research to be feel okay about having 5w30 in there. Apparently, it's close enough and shouldn't affect my engine too much as long as I switch back to it the next time around. Plus I wasn't about to spend another 2 hours of my day to go back and get another oil change.What can I say? First impressions are pretty important, and this just didn't cut it.The coupon was a great deal. But at what cost? I won't be back.
