This place deserves 5 star, they are honest, friendly and professional, I have great results and full understanding of my car problems, I would recommend to anyone who needs repairs.

Absolutely horrible experience. Brought in 3 cars. Two of the cars were serviced incorrectly, first one leaving my father stranded on the free way from an oil leak due to incorrect filter. Second vehicle smelled like gas, we opened the hood to discover they didn't even close the cap (view screenshot). I even recorded the older guy cussing us out telling us to get out of the shop and being extremely rude because we called him out in his not one, but two mistakes. 0/5 stay away

Van is the most honest mechanic I have ever met. San Leandro Auto Care was recommended to me when we moved her two years ago, and I haven't looked back since.Today, Van replaced my daughter's passenger side headlight no charge! This is what professional relationships are all about- taking good care of each other.Im so grateful.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

These dudes worked on my older Mercedes years ago and never fixed the problem. I always went back so they could check it again and they would say it's another problem that needs to get fixed. If you don't have a clue about cars they'll mickey mouse you all day. They stole over 2k from me, so beware of this 'shop'

Absolutely the best mechanic I've ever had. Service engine light on? He don't charge unless he fix. Had trouble changing headlight once. Pulled in to get advice and in 5 minutes, done, all he said, don't worry about it. Sent friend with ABS light on. He cleaned a sensor and boom, fixed in 10minutes, no charge. Blew an engine in my ranger. He found a used motor and had it in and ready to go in 3 days. Not free, but worth every penny. Always shows you bad part and what went wrong. VAN is the MAN!

I have been a customer of San Leandro Auto Care for at least 20 years. Van is an awesome and extremely fair mechanic. They have always treated me well and I have NEVER had a problem with ANY of the services that they have performed on any of my cars.

Absolutely do not go to these people.I have a 2018 and my check engine light kept coming on.Instead of actually figuring out what was wrong they just told me it was my spark plugs. 400 dollars laterI take my car back because the light continues to come on and now they tell me it's the coils and something else.Finally I just take my car the dealership and they tell me it's the coils which only cost 15$These ppl are complete scam artistsStay far away from this shop

Van makes sure your car is always in good condition. And he tells you only what you need to get fixed! Plus..his fees are very reasonable!

Upon recommendation by my mechanic, I always bring my car here for SMOG...always friendly, efficient and willing to accommodate. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

one of the wrost smog check place..they don't know what they are doing..never ever waste your money here..bunch of non certified people who don't know about cars running a smog place..i got the smog passed same day at another place..i wasted my Money over here
