Been here twice and both times Smog Check was done within a reasonable time and affordable.Worker there very nice... would recommend this place!

Be sure you have $99.00 for a smog check he is quick if you dont ask u got to pay the price!! No complain 04/052024 just a bit high price!

Found this place by doing a quick internet search and gave them a phone call. Dan was very accommodating and allowed me to do a walk in for a smog test. (It was right before their lunch break but waited for me!) It only took about 15-20 minutes and they were very fairly priced. Although we only smog every other year, I will be back and will recommend this place to my co workers as I work a few blocks away. Thank you Dan and Pro Smog!

Something told me not to let this guy smog. my Honda. Passed no problems every time for the past 4 years at another shop. This guy told me he previously lost his smog license. And he failed my accord. He said the converter was not valid in California. When I asked him why it passed no problems previously he lamely states he doesn't know why that happened. The guy can't be trusted. He's trying to sell catalytic converters. Stay far away from this place unless you want to get ripped off.

Stay away from this place unless you want to pay twice as much as anyone else and/or you don't care about receiving a failed smog certificate. The guy went out of his way to say my cat converter was not authorized for CA. When I questioned him why it has passed the last 4 years with no problem he lamely stated, "I don't know". He charges me $90 for a failed test and wants to charge hundreds more for a new cat. Stay away from this place - far away!!! Read some of the other reviews about their price gouging.

Cute little place! The smog check took about 15 minutes, but I needed to run some errands in San Leandro, so I left my car for hours there.Very small and cute place with a fantastic warm owner.I ll definitely be coming back for any oil changes and future smog checks!

Typically take my car to a different smog shop but today I was in the area so I called them right before they took lunch. The guy who answered told me if I can make it in soon they could take me.I came in and in less than 40mins I was in and out. I appreciate they good service! Will be back for other needs. Very friendly got me in right away took care of the problem. Very very happy with their work. I recommend them highly , other shops didn t wanna deal with it . All the other shops wanted to do is sell new tires , the tires on the car have only had about 8000 to 9000 miles on them .Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

I went to get my vehicle smogged & they did not waste any time. Was in and out within a reasonable wait time, with multiple customers waiting in the queue. You might think it was just pure luck or perfect timing, but from my observations, they are efficient multitaskers, as customers were coming and going at a good pace. It was a pleasant experience, would definitely recommend!

Beware of this business for fraud! This nutcase that work there quoted me $99 for a regular Certified State Smog Check. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. This place is very dishonest. Other places in the area charge only $38 for a State Certified Smog Check.

Brought my AMG to get a smog and they were quick I was there for about 10 minutes next thing you know I have the inspection print out in my hand. I am extremely satisfied with the service and quickness. I will definitely go to this shop again

I ve been going to pros smog for my smog needs for all my cars for a long time now. Pros smog offers repairs. Dan the owner, repaired my Toyota door lock. My Tacoma passenger door won t open from inside and outside. Parts arrived incorrect not his fault but reordered for me. I asked him if he can make sure my truck is parked inside on evenings so no one steals my catalytic converter while they wait for the parts to arrive. Door was hard to remove since both sides won t open. They fixed my truck door as soon as the part arrived. I highly recommend pros smog not only for smog tests but also for your car repairs. Other companies asked for upfront fees but Dan trusted my word and I trusted him that he ll take care of my truck. Very professional, and quality work. Don t get ripped by other car shop! For the smog test- you have a choice to either go to cheaper place but for the quality of work they do, I can t find it anywhere. When it comes to your cars, I always build a good relationship with my mechanic. Trust is important.Service: General repairs & maintenance

It was a really rainy day and I needed air in my tires to be safe on the road. The guy comes out and asks what I needed, I told him I needed air and he says he can't help me because he has to move the cars he has in the shop to make the air hose reach my car. What a bunch of horse cr- I was ready to tip the guy 10 bucks too. Thanks for letting me know you guys don't care about the community

Professional and have been coming here for a 5+ years. Always willing to help and make sure to get your care taken care of in a timely manner. The last smog test I had, it turned up negative. He told me to to drive it around and preform the tests needed and would work with me to get it passing. I don't have any plans to go elsewhere because I really appreciate the customer service.

Smog test for 2002 Chevy Blazer. Recently replaced battery so I had to run it for more than 100 miles. Return to shop then passed smog. A little bit pricey but the mechanic is super nice and i was humbled by his work.

I've been a customer here since 2006. I take 3 vehicles to them. Never had a problem with the service or with comunication. Never been charged an amount other than the prices posted on the wall. A couple of times my truck had an issues. Once was with the physical inspection. I took the truck home to repaired it. Then took it back - passed no prob. 2nd time the nox was too high. Took it to a shop for timing adjustment. It passed after that.I got an amazon discount for a smog check at a place about 3 miles away near Costco. So, I prepurchased the service made an appointment, and the tech didn't show up to open. Called the number, the person on the phone said that they don't make appointments and that he would be there in 15 minutes. I waited another 30 minutes then left and got a refund from amazon. So that's why I still go to ProSmog. I'm not going to gamble on a new place until ProSmog fails me.

Been coming here for so long I can't remember. Dan is great. Never had any issues. May be a little on the expensive side, you pay for quality. Not only do I take my own vehicles there, also the 4 work trucks we have.

I needed a STAR smog and was struggling to find a place. I was lucky enough to find Pro Smog. The service was fast and friendly. Within a few minutes of arriving my car was being worked on and I was on my way. I definately plan on coming back and using thier other services like oil change, etc.

I've been going to dan nuygen for the past two years he does really good job on your vehicles and he does try to help you out when it comes to price ranges as well but he takes his time and if there's something wrong with your vehicle he will not let you drive it at all because he fears for your safety and him and his crew are really good at what they do and I was just going to him more often because he actually will try to help you and not try to con and swindle you down.

Terrible! $80 for a smog check on my truck, waited for 55 minutes after my truck was finally in the smog bay. Had one plastic clamp under the truck that had cracked but was still on the truck and the hose was firmly on the fuel air re-circulation container. The jerk reported it to the state and now I have to use a STAR station which will probably cost more. These guys are the worst,and for a long time San Leandro resident I hope they go out of business, I hate driving by that place on my way to work.DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! RIP-OFF!!!

If you failed smog you have to pay. First business I been to that will take your money if you failed smog. This is the first and last $30 your taking from me.
