I came here to have my car checked out and was shocked that Pep Boys no longer sales all the car parts and things that they used to. They are in the process of only becoming an auto shop. But there is Advance Auto Parts next door, which is taking the majority of the space they once had.I also learned that this is one location that gives the lift inspections for $19. They provide the inspection form for you, you don't have to print it out and bring it. If you don't pass the lift inspection you don't pay.

I went into the shop, a little late around 4PM. I had a issue with the battery and found that the positive battery box something was loosen and that made the issue. Sergio came up and helped me tighten it right away and the car worked well perfectly again! I really appreciate his nice manner and quick service. Thank you thank you! Will come back and find Sergio next time again

I personally will never go to that store again. I went there to fix my brake pad. After driving close to 2000 mi ( 6 months), my brake rotor came off while I was driving in the freeway. Luckily my family survived.I took it to a different mechanic. He told me they didn't fix the break rotor appropriately and the a bolt came out.He also told me the brake pad was not good and they use the cheap brake pad. Initially when I called pep boys they declined to help me because I was out of warranty period. But when I told them I drove only 2,000 miles. They agree to fix it. But I don't trust them to touch my car again. So I went to a different mechanic. He Helped me to replace the brake pads and he said the rim was messed up from that incident.

I don't understand why you have an online appointment and not service the car right away. I made an appointment for 9am today January 7, 2024 for an Oil Change with Tire Rotation. I am already there at 8:45am. I was third in line and the advisor gave me the estimate paperwork at 9:10am. It's already 11:28am and Pepboys has not serviced my car. Here's a photo of my car still in the parking spot for more than 2 hours as I write this review. I approached Fostahn the advisor as to why my car was not yet service? He just said do you want to just leave it or take it if you are running out of time and safety first yada yada yada. Very nice response from a customer who has been waiting for more than 2 hours for an Oil Change. Ok Pepboys, do not accept appointments if you can not service your customer on the appointment time. Last year, the advisor who took care of my car was Terrence. He did an excellent service, but this advisor Fostahn...very bad service. This is my last visit at this Pepboys location.

0 efficiency, appointment at 2:30 for a single tire replacement, took over 3 hours and still not done yet while other places only takes around 10 minutes. Such a joke

Quick & efficient service! Good customer service overall. I even got my wheel alignment free because I have lifetime warranty when I got my tires , so everything today includes tire rotation and tire pressure check and maintenance Check, plus alignment. I paid only 25 cents . Thanks to you guys at PEP Boys . I ll definitely recommend anyone needed this service!

I was told my alignment would be dome in a hour and 30 minutes that's the time it took for them to be ready to start the alignment. Then a hour after that I saw my van in the parking lot so I went to the desk to pay assuming it was dome the guy told me that the machine broke and I had to reschedule. A total of 3 hours was wasted. On top of that a lady had been wating for 6 hours to get he4 oil changed smh.

Every time I come here Maximilian and the rest of the staff give me A-1 service. Today I witnessed Maximilian distributing excellent customer service with difficult customer. He kept his composure and attempted to provide the best solution that met the company and customer needs.

The service people were very kind and helpful, but the mechanic told me that upon his inspection, my alignment was not off. However, my car is clearly pulling left. I think the mechanic was new and inexperienced.Update: The service manager reached out to me after this review and scheduled another appointment. At that appointment, they fixed my alignment perfectly. They were fast, courteous, and very apologetic. I appreciate that the company reached out to me and corrected the problem. I will continue to give them my business. So for this reason, I am changing my rating to five stars.

I got a tune-up for my SUV, and a starter for my son's sports car all at a reasonable price. The staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. They took care of our needs in a professional manner and a reasonable amount of time.

All they had to do was replace a flat with the spare tire. The car was up on the ramp for an hour. When I asked the main guy why it was taking so long, he brushed me off. Eventually I asked another person and he went out to check. The mechanic was just waiting for instructions to put new tires. Complete miscommunication and waste of precious time!

Will and the mechanic who was able to fix the issue with my car were excellent. The staff checked in with me as I waited and kept me up to date on the status of my vehicle. Even though the drive is a little far for me I know it s worth it because they can get the job done.

Great experience with these guys. Got home and looking at receipt/statement of work noticed in addition to the oil change I paid for, they rotated my tires! Not requested. They said, always with oil changes. My go to place now!

The service and ease of scheduling was solid and the pick-up process after the fact as well.. The only problem I have is that ome of the technicians might have damaged my driver seat with a puncture hole that I did not see prior to sending my car in for service.

If I could give 0 stars, they did a oil change on my truck and put too much oil it topped off into my motor and blew my engine they refuse to take accountability for this issue because they don t want to fix my car the manager Maximilian does not care for customers and lies about diagnosis to avoid repairing their mistakes, I have another report contradicting his diagnosis I would not take my truck to Pepboys at no location, anywhere, they don t care about your vehicle and they will put too much oil and send you in your way, my check oil light didn t go off, he then manually had to shut it off because it kept coming on and that s because they put too much oil not good service or customer service do not go here! By the way I had a 4 pm appointment and didn t leave until 7 when they were closing! They messed up my truck and screwed up my whole world looking for a excellent legal team!

Great Customer Experience! Stop by and see Julio and his team. They even top-off tire air pressure for Free! How far would you go for good customer service? For me it was 30 minutes and it was so worthy.

Normally they are good but I had a flat the next day after my new tires were installed. It was a mess to get it repaired and wait for towing. Not cool to have to take time off work for their mistake.

One of the guys (Raul) there turned on my car and rev bombed it then proceed to argue that it was no big deal with me when confronted instead of apologizing, also they (Patrick) stole my special lug nut socket which was tucked away in my trunk. So feel free to come here if you want to get robbed and have your things mistreated because its no big deal to them

Update: After my last review, I was actually contacted by a Pep Boys manager who wanted to rectify the mistake. So, I went back to Pep Boys and they admitted the error the mechanic had made, fixed my alignment in less than 45 minutes and all is well. The manager, Maxillian, was easy to work with and handled it all professionally and efficiently. I m a happy customer!

The original alignment preformed by Pep boys had a bias to the right, the warranty alignment still has a bias to the right. Will have the vehicle aligned at another business that specializes in alignments.

I will never go there either, They Charged me $780.00 to fix my AC and finally they told me "we miss a leak" and the problem is the Evaporator and we can't fix that ,Only Volvo, But never returned my money and Volvo do it for me for free!! They are bad people.(Volvo CX90 2019) Only 33,000 miles, Incredible.

Scammers. Go somewhere else for installation period, no pepboys. They will hit you for oversized tire charges on regular sized tires, it s wild. When you ask why would you pay that for your boring regular sized tires they will tell you because your tires weren t purchased here . However that s not what they list on your receipt, outside purchase. That s just how we do it is the answer you ll get. They list it under oversized fees. No that is inaccurate and fraud. There is a line on the receipt for installation fees but it s sitting at nada. Definitely fraud. All day long fraud. I am in process of reporting all of it. Hopefully something will come out of it. Crazy.**I will not be contacting this store as they have requested below. Complaints were filed and it can all be resolved that way. I am not interested in trying to be scammed further or lied by this store**

I have been to their other branches in San Carlos and San Jose before for an oil change, and I have never encountered such a slow and indifferent service. Moreover, the employee who was interested spoke in a mocking manner. Even though I had an appointment at 11:30 am, they took the car to the repair shop at 1:40 pm and delivered it to me at 2:40 pm. So there seems to be no point in me creating a appointment. I clearly understood that I should not work with this branch again. It was a really ridiculous experience. I'm giving 2 stars because they were able to change the oil.
