I had an absolutely fantastic experience with the service provided at this establishment. Javier and his team exhibited exceptional qualities such as reliability, honesty, knowledgeability, friendliness, and most importantly, trustworthiness. Not only did they deliver on their promised timeline, but my car was ready precisely when they said it would be. I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with their service, giving them a perfect rating of 10 out of 10. I am so impressed by their performance that I will not hesitate to recommend this place to all my friends and family. Without a doubt, this has become my go-to service shop for all my automotive needs.

I've been taking my car here for about 4 years now and they are consistently reliable, thorough, and most importantly, fair. I ve never felt like they were trying to price gauge me in any way. Both Javier s take the time to explain the issue(s) and the fix(es). Check 'em out!

Went in first time before to change my brake and the service was great so I went in again today just to have them check on my cigarette lighter socket. Joel who was helping us was quick and honest, was transparent about their pricing and didn t charge us as it took him just a bit to fix up the fuse. We ll be a loyal customer and so glad we found this mechanic!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I have used J&J multiple times, head gasket on my F-150, a rear axle on my 350z, replaced front control arm on my corolla, and now a clutch on my mustang GT. Haven't told him about the last one yet.Has ALWAYS been 1000% upfront about cost and has lowered the bill a few times saying "finished quicker then I thought, I only charge the time it takes"Best part, I've never brought a car back cause the problem wasnt fixed.I live an hour away and still bring my cars here.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Auto maintenance

These guys are not only honest, but excellent mechanics as well. They also have the most reasonable prices in the area. I take my toyota hatch and my dodge van here whenever I need something and i've never had a problem afterwards.It's really hard to find an honest auto repair shop and one that also does great work, so i'm glad they're in San Leandro and just a 10 minute walk from my house.Highly recommend them!

My name is travis, I had an emergency last week and had a hard time finding a shop that would help me out in an emergency manor.So I made contact with this shop and was towed over to them. I explained everything that I checked and that I had my kids with a babysitter that wasn't available for the time I've been stuck.They we're super cool, pushing my car down the road and back into the shop. They didn't hesitate to take a look and fix my no spark issue even though they were very, very busy.The price was fair, they defined compassion and had me headed home to my family quick. Outstanding service. I wish I wasn't 3hrs away cause I'd for sure make J&J my full time shop for our vehicles. Thank you for the help boys.

Javier is an amazing mechanic. He is super honest, which is a BIG plus, and he is very reliable. He has worked in 3 of my cars, and he has always delivered! Javier is an excellent mechanic and a really cool dude. A friend recommended him to me and I've never gone anywhere else, even when I moved away from the area and it required me to drive longer distances to see him. That's how much I trust this guy. Francisco too. Great hard working people. Javier has a great sense of humor and I always feel treated like family. They've been incredibly generous with me for the last two years. I am sad I'm leaving the Bay area, as I think reliable mechanics that you can always trust are rare. If I could give them 10 stars I would. This guy is it!

My van broke down 2 weeks before I moved to Southern California, he allegedly fixed it. I payed like $3k and moved. The second day I used it after moving the transmission stopped working again. If I could give him 0 stars I would. Seems like a nice responsible guy but I would never go there again and would advise anyone against on doing so.Service: Transmission replacement

Been going to Javier & team for a couple years now , by now they have worked on 2 of my vehicles (currently working on my main one) and every time I go and talk to Javier/ team they always go above and beyond to help EVERY customer with the best possible option/ THEY ALWAYS TELL YOU THE TRUTH. Times are tough, and there are few rare ones left, but these are the GO TO GUYS for practically any car issue, mind you, at an AFFORDABLE cost. Always a great time. Javier is the man! He is honest, fair, and very knowledgeable. There is no price gouging here. The work these guys do is excellent. I am very happy with the suspension they installed in my 15 year old Volkswagen. I will be back for any future service.

My go to car service place for all my car needs. 100% reliable every oil change, brakes, tires, alignment, etc you need it fixed they get it done and done right. Most importantly, they are upfront and honest, most valuable attribute about J&J Auto. Thank you for excellent quality work you guys do for my car. Very satisfied repeat customer for many years!!!

Took in my 2013 mustang GT for an oil change and random noise my car was making . Javier and his crew were able to diagnose an issue my car had off just one drive ! Very knowledgeable, honest and affordable business , will be coming back for any future car services and for their shop dog Oliver

I think they're honest and reliable I'm going to bring my car next time because I bought my truck and they said that the engine is blown I'm going to get a second opinion but they're very patient and nice

Awesome service! I went there today for the first time and will surely go back again! I had a full synthetic oil change done. It took about 45 minutes. They also did a tire rotation, checked and filled any fluid as necessary, kept me informed and seemed honest. Prices are very fair and Javier explains everything before he actually does something to the car.Great business people, exceptional customer service and beautiful doggie to entertain me while waiting :).Thank you guys!Adry

Javier and his business are phenomenal! As someone who's had mechanics in the family for her whole life, I've typically been skeptical of taking my cars to anyone I don't know, but I think I've found someone outside the family that I can definitely trust.In taking both Geo Metro and Acura TSX here, I could not be happier with the outcome! Javier was completely straightforward with me about how worthwhile fixing my Geo would be, and a short time later, after a nightmare with the dealership, he was able to get my Acura repaired for half the cost and in less than half the time the dealership offered. There are limited warranties on nearly every part that's been replaced in my Acura, and it's running smoother than ever!In short, service here is fast, friendly, and affordable. I will ABSOLUTELY be bringing my cars here in the future, and recommend anyone else to do the same!

J&J Auto repair did another outstanding auto repair on my daughter's car. This is the third time I've used them and each time they have done and outstanding job. Great mechanics and auto repair shops are very hard to find but I have found both w/ J&J Auto repair!

Did an excellent job on major front-end work on 2004 F-250 Ball joints (All of them) found what was clunking and repaired that. Did complete brake job, made a big heavy truck stop on a dime. Javier is a true artist. I recommend J&J auto to everyone!!!

Javier is the guy! Friendly, knowledgeable, and cares for his customers. He has reasonable prices and he doesn t cheat on his customers. I ve been coming here for the last 5 years and highly recommend it
