The online appointment process is much better than it was a year ago. The service experience was good. I was greeted when I pulled up and was helped soon afterwards. I was contacted when my car was done and the check out was easy.My only issue is the quality of the service I received. I paid for a realignment but it doesn t feel like it has been done. It makes my question whether or not it was done.

I dropped my Expedition off for a warranty repair of the rear main seal slightly leaking oil. The service writer would not give me an estimate of when it might be completed. I called twice attempting to get a status update, left messages and received no return phone call. On the second call, I requested to speak with the service manager and the telephone receptionist took a message (not voice mail). Still no return call. Twenty one days in, I finally get a call saying the vehicle has been completed, but he just needs to have someone take it on an extended test drive. Two more days later, I finally get the call advising the vehicle was ready to be returned to me. While I was waiting for the vehicle to be brought up from the back, I spoke with three other customers who also related poor customer service stories. This is the not the first time that I ve had work done at San Leandro Ford. The previous time, I also got the distinct impression that they don t care how long they have your vehicle and that you are left without transportation during this time. I most likely wouldn t return here or suggest anyone use this facility. To be clear, I have nothing against the quality of their actual work, just the attitude and poor customer service.

For many years I have liked and trusted ford service repair shop but recently I had to have my A/C repaired twice before it was only blowing out hot air. Both times after the repairs and a acouple other repairs thousands of dollars later it's still blowing out hot air. Plus this last repair to check and see why the check engine light was on .They said it was the fuel injector I had them put in a new one . I just got my car back 5 days ago and today the check engine light came on. and it's having the same issue with the A/C hot air NO cold air.I called today and waiting for a call backThis is very frustrating!

I have purchased 15 vehicles from this dealership over my lifetime. The people there from the owner, sales manager, service manager, service advisors are top notch professionals. If I ever have a problem it is addressed immediately and corrected to my satisfaction. If I ever needed to purchase another vehicle it would be from the Ford Store in the city of San Leandro.

This time I had a very good experience at San Leandro ford store due to Simon! Simon took very good care of me. He had me in and out less than 2 hrs. Even with the last minute request. Thank you Simon for a great experience at San Leandro ford store

Our Mach E was in the service dept for at least 7 days. It was In and out twice over the course of 2 weeks. Turned out the problem was a faulty connection on a camera in the front of the car. I don t know what took so long. Calls from them explaining the problem and updates were minimal. We had to make calls to get updates. The car was not ready when they said it would be and I was asked to give them another day. Owen said it should be done the next morning. I asked him what was taking so long and his reply was It s a complicated car. The next morning, we didn t hear from Ford. We had to call in to tell them we needed the car by 4:15 at the very latest. Thankfully , it was delivered by 3 pm. If Ford doesn t know how to service EVs maybe they shouldn t be selling them. My Tesla friends are laughing at us. We will try our best to service our Mach E at another Ford service dept

My service advisor Owen did a great job explaining the recommended service and keeping me posted throughout the work. I utilized the free ride/shuttle and only had to wait a few minutes before I was on my way. Great overall experience.

My vehicle had a recall on rotors and brake pads. I was seen by service advisor Simon who attended to every detail. The work was performed in a timely manner making me a satisfied customer. Thanks to everyone at the San Leandro Ford Store.

Driver side window doesn't work. Unknown ticking sound around the glove compartment. It took several days but!! They found the source of the ticking and fixed my window. Good Job Willie Pate!!

Had a couple of recalls perform and had to take it back.left some bolts loose but still a great place to have your vehicle service.I know this business we are humans thanks for rhe service.

Terrible service at this location, I would give it 0 stars if I could. I took my car in, which is not under warranty anymore, for an inspection ($265) because my car didn t want to engage with the AWD since it s a 2013 Ford Edge Sport AWD and wouldn t move at all. Then after they did the inspection on my car they called to tell me I needed to replace the whole rear differential and with labor cost and all the estimate was around $6,500 which is ridiculous. I ended up picking my car up with my insurance tow truck to have it taken to a mechanic friend, they took a look at my car and first the whole brakes needed replacement which I had taken my car to the same San Leandro Ford Service back in October 2023 to get new brakes and turns out they didn t even put new brakes which I paid for! Also the rear differential did not need replacement, it s actually just the transfer box that needed to be replaced. It s just so annoying and ridiculous that San Leandro Ford Service would charge the most they can to do a terrible job. I will definitely be emailing the manager Paul to get my money back for the brakes because thats is not right at all!! Don t recommend this place at all!

I always get the results I expected when I brought my F 150 to the Ford Store San Leandro. Simon Ortiz has been my Service Advisor for years! Simon and all the Staff have been respectful, polite and professional!

My service tech Owen was great but I was never called when it was ready. When I showed up there was nobody available to help me for 15 minutes. Then I see my car being brought out. The employee took my key with him and it took 15 mi utes and three service technicians to locate my key. Very crazy

I've been going to this place for years and they overcharge as dealers often do but this particular time was really extreme - I ended up paying 2-2.5 times what I later discovered was the quote from other auto body shops - replacing a water pump, two hoses, and a thermostat. They provided very little information during this specific visit, just the total cost and I had to repeatedly ask before I was given the quote. If it's not something Ford specific, I recommend getting general work done elsewhere. Car does seem to be running well now.

Just wanted to thank Billy at ford San Leandro for taking the time to make sure the service on my ford truck was done on time and that the warranty took care of the problem I complained about and he also took care of another problem which the warranty also covered which also needed repair attention and I m grateful for that .. coz he saved me from taking another day off.(FYI.. used one different lug nut on one tire which I know yall will fix when I bring it back for the next service )Billy s Great ..

My truck was kept for an additional day beyond the scheduled time for my 20K mile service to address a TSB, but they didn t actually fix it by end of the second business day. Later, when I checked my truck, I saw they had not reinstalled most of the attachment clips after swapping the oil filter.This was my second service and will be my last at SL Ford. They comped my first because despite my 8am appointment they forgot my truck and also kept it overnight for that oil change! Awful service, I do not recommend this dealer.Service: Oil change

I was waiting for almost 5 hours for a simple brake fluid pipe replacement even with having an appointment. First, they told me it was gonna be done at 12pm, 1pm, and then it was finally done at 1:30. Barely checked up on me with updates on the car.

The service consultant Simon was very professional. He helped me all the time to get my F 250 and F350 trucks serviced and repaired.I've been using their services for 15 years and they were very consistent and reliable.

the guy was nice but it took 2 days to just tell me what i already knew about my car, i dropped off my car on a wednesday and they wanted to keep it until the next monday just to replace my O2 filter. 2 days later, all they did was run a check engine light diagnostic and just told me what was wrong with my car. charged me $300 for it tooService: Transmission

They were friendly and knowledgeable. When it took extra days to complete work they did not do a good job of keeping us informed and it took more than 3 calls to find out our vehicle would be delayed an extra day.In addition we were informed we had swollen lug nuts and it would cost an additional $400+ to drill them out and replace them . This is a Ford issue, however, this shop could have taken care of this when we last took our car in and replaced them for much less $Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Brought my car here and never had an issue. This time it was there for 2 months. I'm not sure what the hold ups are but it would have been nice to have an update here and there. I had to call multiple times to find out what was going in with my car. But they did valet/deliver my car to me which was nice.

I had my oil change done at this place.When I got home something was hanging underneath the car. I took my car to the same place again few days later. This guy did something in two minutes and said it is fixed.When I got home I found out that it is still hanging at the front. Now I have to find time again to get it fixed.

For a brake pads replacement and small recall on my Fusion for a door latch, the process ended up taking nearly a month after being told it could be done the Friday of the same week I brought this in. Pricing for the brake pads was hundreds of dollars more than what I could of got at a mom and pop. Not a great experience.

All I have to say is night and day different from Fremont Ford. San Leandro Ford has great customer service, they're honest, and communicated regularly as I waited for my car to be serviced for the recent recall.

Pretty bad experience...They weren't able to diagnose a bad brake flex hose, which was causing the calipers to stick after 15-20 minutes of driving.Instead they charged $500 to adjust the calipers and told me nothing else was wrong after looking at the vehicle twice, and me insisting something is still wrong.I had to take it to another mechanic who easily diagnosed and fixed the problem. I would expect better from a Ford Service & Maintenance shop.

Terrible. No followup. No follow through. Didn t fix anything. Took them 4 days to just give me my truck bad with the same problems. You guys owe me $200.
