Highly recommend this repair shop. From the first to the last person I spoke with, everyone was very nice and informative bad news vs good news they keep you updated. Their time management skills are great!!! Thank you all, I truly appreciate your customer service during my difficult time.

Poor service everyone not on the same page. Feel there was no time frame given and can t give updates only two days given Kept giving different due dates but then the updates were only two day intervals. Meaning if you say my car is due on 4/4-4/6 then if not ready would give a Addis two days like 4/7-4/9 not feasible give a time frame of a week or three weeks period

CARSTAR Chilton Auto Body was recommended by State Farm after my car was hit and damaged. They got me in right away and they were very friendly and helpful! My car was ready for pickup before the expected date and they had it looking like new! Summer at the front desk was so kind and welcoming! I would recommend them highly!

CARSTAR Chilton is a top notch firm!From beginning to end, intake to pickup, they were professional, courteous, and efficient!I love that they worked so seamlessly with Geico as well as being able to pick up and return an Enterprise Rent-A-Car at their location.Could not ask for better service!

I went to this Business, because it had great reviews and im a Business Owner Myself (17 yrs). Had a 1pm appt. Feb 28th, 2024, and I got there 40 mins early, no problem. I checked in and 10 mins later, Ron or Ryan introduced himself and We went outside to exam the damage to my Car (Corvette), due to a very large Pothole. I told him what happened, he took notes then took several pictures of my Car damage. I gave him my contact info, and he told me that he would have my estimate completed that same evening or by next morning. I didn't hear from him Tuesday by 3pm and called the Business. A woman answered, said Ron was unavailable and said he would call me back. I didn't get called. Wednesday came and still didn't get an email or call, so I called again and a Woman answered the phone again. I told her why I was calling and she said that my estimate was still being worked on and that I would receive a call by days end. Once again No call back..I called again Thursday morning and was told that Ron was with a Customer and would call me back I Never Received a Call. I left a message Thursday night and basically stated my frustrations with the lack of Service and asked to be called to let me know if they planned on completing my estimate. Its Friday evening now and I never received a call. Now im Pissed for wasting my time . I guess Black people aren't worthy of good customer service at this Business!!!. They dont deserve 1 star!! Zero. I booked with a more Professional Company. Caliber Collision!!

There was absolutely no communication between the body shop and myself. I waited to start my repairs for all the parts to come in. I was told by the bodyshop that it would only take a few days. After a week I called to find out my status and they informed me they found more damage. Why wasn't I notified? The repairs took nine days and the only time I herd from the shop was when the repairs were finished.That being said the repairs look great. Just wished they had better communication skills.Service: Body & Trim

Absolutely recommend this place to EVERYONE, seriously! After experiencing a car accident the last thing I wanted to worry about was my vehicle and all the issues that ll arise. From checking in to picking my vehicle up (earlier than estimated might I add!) the entire staff was professional and extremely helpful. Gena was awesome in explaining the process and due to some parts that may not be available, there was a slight chance that I would have needed to bring it back. But fortunately they did what needed to be done and fixed all issues! Gena was great with communication! Dale was also extremely helpful answering questions I had when Gena was unavailable. Even though I felt like I had stupid questions Dale made me feel comfortable and was patience in explaining some insurance questions I had. Picking up a clean car with the issues repaired really made my day today! I just want to personally thank everyone there from the front to in the shop working on my car. You have an awesome team and I am so glad I went here! THANK YOU!!!!

CARSTAR CHILTON fix my drivers side mirror and they did a great job. The mirror blends in ,looks perfect and functions perfectly. 2020 Subaru Forester. Fixed front bumper, right lower lamp and side panel after fender bender and misc. other dings. My car looks like new! I submitted my original request on-line. They responded immediately and I scheduled to bring my car in the next day for an estimate. They worked directly with my insurance company (State Farm), so that save me alot of hassle. Since my car was drive able, I selected a date one week out for the service. They were ready for me on Monday AM when I arrived. Check in was easy. They even coordinated my ride to the car rental. The estimate was my car would be ready Thursday afternoon. The communicated with me daily as to the progress and informed me the car would be ready a day early. Yeah! Everyone I dealt with was professional and personable. Shop was clean, well lit and organized. The entire process was super, start to finish. AND the guarantee their work for the life of the car (as long as I own it). No hesitancy recommending Chilton Auto in San Leandro.

Amazing! This is my second time bringing my vehicle to CARSTAR Chilton in San Leandro. The staff, Tiffany and Gina, are professional, friendly, and honest. It s hard to find a body shop that is honest with you each step of the way. They always reassured me my vehicle was in good hands in many different ways. I appreciate this shop so much. I recommend them to everyone; my father has now had repairs done to his vehicle and agrees with me, as he stated, I m only going to them from now on. Beautiful job and excellent service...they went the extra mile to find decals needed to get my vehicle back to how it was prior to the accident. They did a thorough job but had my vehicle back within a few days.Would definitely use Carstar again.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

They were very nice however after the repair the car door didn t work properly so I had to bring it back which is a big inconvenience - they should have caught it and test it properly
