This place is awesome, I really appreciate the fact that Eric and Sandra kept me updated throughout my cars work being done. I've been bringing my old Tundra to Erik and his team for the last few months, and as long as I'm living locally, they have gained a customer for life. This is the best mechanic shop I've been to in terms of the quality of their work, their professionalism, and their prices. They are a small business, and they take care of their customers like I remember businesses doing when I was growing up as a kid. Jocelyn, their service rep, is always friendly and pleasant to speak with in getting quotes and appointments scheduled. Erik, the owner, knowns his stuff and is also really friendly-- but most importantly, he's honest. Most recently, I got the truck back for a check engine light diagnostic and repair and when I went to pick it up, they refused to charge me for the work because the issue ended up being so minor and easily fixable. All of the quotes I have gotten from them have been comparable or better than the other shops I called, which is initially why I brought my truck there in the first place. I ve taken our vehicles to the Auto Doctor, San Leandro, for over two decades. The estimates and prices have always been fair and their work is outstanding. We have had, and continue to have, a great deal of confidence in our vehicles after they ve been to the Auto Doctor. If there are issues beyond the estimated work, they will always call and discuss before going further. I had called initially and spoke to Jocelyn whom was very professional and courteous. I explained how I would like to have my motor mounts replaced for my 98 Blazer.Once she placed the order for a pair of AC Delcomotor mounts I returned my vehicle on a Monday afternoon and voila! Like magic Ipicked up my truck- and wow oh wow, drove 10 miles hitting 65-75 and no unstableness or shaking on the steering column At ALL!Thank you owner Eric Magana! I've taken my vehicles to the Auto Doctor for many years for anything and everything I've needed in a car or truck. When my car was stolen and damaged last Christmas Eve, my insurer decided to total it, but business owner Eric Magana said he could fix everything and for less than the insurer estimated. Eric even took care of all the testing and paperwork to get it reregistered in DMV, from totaled to rebuilt. Now it runs like a watch again. I would literally trust Eric with my life.
