Jose was a great help. We were able to workout a fantastic deal!!! He even drove the car all the way to my house in Chula Vista and brought a red bow so I can surprise my wife !!!He went over the features and benefits and signed me up Jeep Wave Program.Awesome person to work with. Coastline Chrysler Dodge Jeep RamApr 6, 2024Helpful friendly and patient sales staff. Miles was great, his attitude alone was what convinced us we wanted to purchase our Jeep Rubicon 392 from Coastline CDJR. Miles and Jose happily answered our numerous questions and facilitated the sale even after we changed our minds a few times on features and color. Jose was very knowledgeable and ensured we were happy and never pressured us for the sale. Jose did a terrific job of explaining the many features of the new vehicle. Steve in finance was also great. He was friendly and professional and moved the process along. Steve did not get annoyed or miss a beat when we decided not to purchase one of the extended warranty and he was required to reprint and recalculate. Overall it was a positive experience and we drove away happy. Kudos to the sales and finance team at Coastline CDJR.

The service by Coastline is above and beyond anything I have ever seen from an automotive dealership. My salesman, Jose Sanchez, worked with me to get a deal that worked for me AND delivered the truck to my house and picked up my trade!!! I've ran into many dealerships that bait and switch you or lie but Coastline delivers an honest experience. I will definitely come back when it's time for the next vehicle.

Had a really smooth experience special ordering my perfect Dodge Charger Daytona 392 with Coastline. Alex and Jim were quite knowledgable on all fronts and eager to assist me through the process... I'd never special ordered a car before. We must've timed it right too, because I took delivery of my car just over a month after the custom order was placed. Fantastic experience!

I hate dealerships with a passion but this one, we worked with Jaime Pineda, he by far was so curitous, knowledgeable, helpful. He responded quickly and did not treat us like he did not care. He and the dealership, even finance went so smoothly, so quickly. I would recommend them to anyone that I come in contact with that is looking for a Jeep.

100/10 recommend this dealership and Parker from their sales team. Parker caters to your needs and helps you find the best fit option in their inventory without the pressure of settling or rushing to make the decision.I ve looked across the entire US at CDJR dealers for my recent vehicle purchase, and when comparing inventory and prices this location is the best out there. You can tell the owners and inventory purchasers spend time building out their jeeps with packages and color-ways that go together and fit what most current Jeep shoppers are looking for.I have purchased 2 other jeeps over the last 5 years at other CDJR dealers in California and my experience with Parker and Coastline for my 3rd Jeep was hands down the best experience.

On a recent trip home from Moab my rear locker decided to turn itself on while driving down the highway in my wrangler creating a serious safety concern. With no way to keep it from constantly coming back on I unplugged it to disable it so I could continue my 500+ trip home with my 1 year old in the car.I brought it in without an appointment due to the situation. I have had great previous experiences with Tawnee but she's wasn't working that weekend. Kevin, who seems helpful wrote up the concern for me along with a paint issue that's also a known problem. With no need to pressure the team with a speedy repair I just ask that it be fixed correctly and that everything looks right (paint). Kevin had a couple of questions since my jeep is lifted, I assured him that my rear axle is 100% stock other than the differential cover (heavy duty to prevent rock damage). He calls me a few days later to ask me the exact same question, to pass on the info to his shop foreman, no big deal. Again I reaffirmed and showed him I unplugged the locker so I could drive home safely.I was patient, maybe too patient. I called after the 1 month mark, still not ready, 5 week mark, Not ready, after 6 weeks I get the confirmation it's ready. I arrive to pick it up Saturday, pay for the routine maintenance. As I'm waiting for it to be pulled up I'm reading the repair notes. When I get to the locker concern, it says "unplugged" and plugged back in. Literally NO REPAIR was made after all this time. So I left it there, told the gentlemen that was helped me to have Kevin get it fixed.Before writing such a negative review, I took the time to see if there was a manager I could reach out to in the staff section of the webpage of the dealer. There's none listed. I took the time to read other negative reviews and an email address was provided as a response and listed Rick Vidal as the GM with his email. I sent a brief email hoping that someone could jump on this problem (which I actually identified was a repair from a service bulletin already issued by Jeep) for the exact problem. I even provided the part number.End of the day Tuesday, never heard from Rick, Kevin or anyone from Coastline. I ended up having to call Kevin to find out what is going on over there. To Kevin's surprise, he wasn't even aware my Jeep was still there. So here I am left waiting again, week 7 without a properly repaired vehicle.I'm actually in the market to replace my work truck with a new Ram, I guess I won't be buying from my local dealer after this ridiculous experience.UPDATE: it took 3 visits total to get my Jeep back without paint dripping down the door. Shocking the locker problem returned and they performed the exact repair from the service bulletin I provided. Also, I did by a new truck from them. I noticed 2 small dents the night I drove it home, 1 in the hood and one in the tailgate. The salesman said he would take care of it, simple 5 minute PDR, but when the time came to actually take care of it straight ghosted me.DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS HERE!

Was interested in a vehicle, sales people reached out. I asked if there were mandatory dealer add-ons for the vehicle the sales person said no. Drove along way to the dealership to look at the vehicle and then was told that there were $4500 worth of upgrades that were mandatory to pay for on top of the listed price. This obviously was a bait and switch.

There are so many dealerships, and thanks to the internet, you can deal with 20 at a time. But I'm a bit old fashioned and enjoy patronizing our local businesses, so when it came time to explore Lease End options our vehicle, we went right to where we have it serviced, Coastline CDJR. We easily set up an appointment for Saturday morning with Doug Hopper, Product Specialist, and he was ready for us promptly at 10AM when we arrived. First thing's first, this isn't your average dealership....there's something very special and "Family Run" about it. From Service to Sales, it all felt like we were at home doing our business. The tough part first, due to circumstances relating to an accident on our vehicle, our options on the Lease End were limited, but Doug rolled out some incredible deals to present us, all of which we liked. There was no hard sell or "fake sincerity", it was genuine. He showed empathy for our situation, and ran through all of the specifics of what we might be able to do. He took the time to pull around a number of vehicles and show us the scenarios for each. His patience, knowledge, and transparency was unlike I've experienced in any other car dealership, period. We share a love for Jeeps (although we were there for a different vehicle) and he told us about his vehicle that he acquired from Coastline, it was just a great bonding experience and showed that he wasn't just out for the quick sell. The best part of the entire interaction was his positivity that things would work out just fine, putting us at ease with a very difficult decision to make. Ultimately, we had to choose not to enter into a new vehicle that day, however, 5 minutes after meeting Doug and feeling welcomed, I was 100% sure we were going to. The situation was out of his control, and our family deliberations were quite intense that day, and he was patient and understanding (where do you get that in vehicle sales? Like truly authentic.....you really don't). Coastline is a special place, and Doug is truly a gem. When we do, and are able to pull the trigger on a new vehicle (the whole backstory would take up a small novella), I've got Doug's number and Coastline on speed dial. I encourage anybody in the market for a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram to get on down to Coastline, meet Doug, and experience what we did. The whole situation could have been a total nightmare, but with his efforts to explore every single option, it gave us some incredible insight on how to proceed. My biggest regret is that I wasn't able to drive the family off the lot in a brand new car from Doug that day, so this rating has nothing to do a vehicle purchase, it has to do with a fantastic experience that left a great impression. They have some really phenomenal vehicles there that you won't find at any other dealer (configurations, limited editions, etc), so whether you are in the market for something standard in their lineup, or something with some of that extra pizazz, I could not recommend another dealer or specialist to pop by or make an appointment to explore. You're going to leave with a good feeling no matter what, and the dealer discounts Coastline is able to offer are not to be found comparable anywhere than I could find. So do yourself a favor, stop dealing with 100 different "internet sales reps" from 100 different dealers, and get yourself down there to Coastline. I don't often leave reviews, but when I do, it's because something truly special is afoot. Good luck with your vehicle search, and I hope this review helps make your life a heck of a lot easier. Doug certainly will!

Stay away from this dealer. Called inquiring about an SUV and ask about rough estimate of monthly payment. I provided info and the sales person said they are pretty close with my target payment. Drive an hour and numbers are way off, and started lying about other dealership. Good thing I went with the other dealer as they were more transparent and professional to work with.

I went 3 times to this dealership. First time, Mike who is now fired for being lazy was super sweet and seemed scared to make a deal with his boss. I brushed it off not thinking anything of it. Second time I went back I spoke to Mario. Super cool dude worked with me gave me a solid deal, told him I d come back with a check the next day. The next day, third time, I came in with a check and trade in ready to seal the deal. Well, long story short, Mario said his boss wouldn t make the deal because the DMV had not updated their system with the new refinance company. They gave me about 4 different excuses to not make the deal to which I had answers to all of them. Mario had his first boss come out telling me why they couldn t make the deal, I tried to come up with a solution he didn t care walked up and left. Then the second man came out, Jessie/Jesse again with an excuse to not make the deal and when I tried to come up with another solution he walked away mid conversation. Mario had a third man come out, don t know his name but he is one of the financial personnel (Asian dude). I asked him questions about why they wouldn t make the deal with me which he then got irritated, caught an attitude, would not let me talk I had to tell him to please listen. It was my dream truck and I was ready to make the deal. The financial guy ended up telling me well why don t you just go to another dealership if you want it that bad. The point of this is that their management are rude and unprofessional, aren t willing to negotiate. It s their way or no way. Then they asked me to buy THEIR truck but I could not take it until I brought back the title for the trade in even THOUGH the bank handles all that. The bank overhead some of the conversations and they even told me to leave!!!! My bank said they d give them the title but Coastline refused for no reason. Petty maybe because my husband and I actually knew what we were talking about so they didn t want to make a deal without profiting off my money. Oh btw, Mike referred me to Tuttle CDJR even though he had just been working at this dealership so that says a lot. His ex coworkers said Mike was lazy and old that s why they fired him which to me that s rude to say about an older man and let alone unprofessional. I ended up leaving and driving off to AutoNation same day. AutoNation price matched the deal I had with Coastline for a few grand cheaper and higher trim. I ve owned 4 RAMS and this was by the WORST experience. Do not recommend this environment at all. Rude, arrogant, condescending, probably even sexist. I tried making a deal 3 times but they wanted to profit over giving customer satisfaction.

I bought a truck and the dealer adds GPS, fabric protection, rear lights that strobe on and off when you brake paint protection for $2000 +. I told Doug the salesman I didn t want it but they made me take it. Turns out the truck did not have any of these items on it. I have contacted the dealer with no reply. Stay away from this dealer. Complete rip offs.

Not just for locals. On New Years Day, our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid broke down while in San Clemente. We were visiting for the long weekend from Phoenix. The next morning, we had the van towed to Coastline and they went above and beyond to fit us in, investigate the issue and got us up and going again. A special shout out to Ronald Summers for empathizing with our issue and even asking that we let him know when we get home to Phoenix so he wouldn't have to worry. Can't recommend them enough! Thanks again!

Making an appointment was nearly impossible. Nobody in service answers the phone, after making appointment online, I arrive. Waited in the service drive for 10 minutes, finally walked inside and the staff ignored me for a few minutes. Then Kevin reluctantly asked my name and seemed annoyed that I was scheduled with him. He was rude and condescending. All I needed was a recall, he complained and said it could take another day because he is busy. No loaner car etc. Then I called 3 times and NEVER got a call back, even the next day!!

I can t believe I m going to say this but the sales experience was amazing! Doug helped us through the process. He was kind and professional through the whole process. No pressure tactics and let us leave and come back. Just purchased a Ram 3500 and couldn t be more happy with the truck and the price.

The financial manager Jesse and other sales associates were extremely unprofessional. All three that my wife and I spoke with got up and walked away mid conversation. They re unable to hold true to their deals . The environment is extremely uncomfortable. And the staff is full of excuses and customer satisfaction is not on the priority list. I recommend AutoNation!!
