Unfortunately, I forgot her name, but the service department assistant manager(Serene?)went above and beyond to service my daughters car without an appointment. It was a very positive experience, and she should be recognized. We will be back!!

The A/C performance on my 1994 RX-7 has substantially degraded over time. Since R12 has gotten expensive and the car is only driven occasionally, I figured I d never have the A/C repaired.As Capistrano Mazda is near my house I stopped in and asked if there was a R134a conversion available. To my surprise they said yes and the cost (parts & labor) I felt was reasonable.I left the car on a Thursday morning and they returned it to me Friday evening with the temp from the vents blowing at a very chilly 43 degrees.The dealership sent two videos recorded by Hector, the technician, showing the kit that was installed and the air blowing cold with a thermometer in the vent.I m very happy with the timeliness, cost, quality, and performance of the A/C conversion. Nice job Capo Mazda!

First of all, this review is for the service center at Capo Mazda not the sales department which I had an amazing experience with Otto.Last weekend I had an appointment to do the first service on my CX-50 Meridian Edition, the appointment was at 1:45 PM so I got there around 1:30. As soon I got there everything started to go south, I parked my car in front of the service department and waited like for 5 min for someone to greet me but no one did so I walked inside and no one was on the counters so I saw a girl in a small office and asked her about my appointment and she said that someone from service will come in a min, ok no problem, so 5 min more and a service advisor showed up, she asked me for my name and asked if I was going to wait for the car and I said yes, so she told me to seat in the waiting area so I did. I brought with me some work so I got into that, an hour and a half later I thought it was weird that it was taking so long so I walked to the counter again , right way I knew something was wrong because my car was in the same spot where I parked it, so I asked the same lady about how long it was going to take, she looked at me like she didn t know who I was and right a way she realized that she never checked in my car so nothing has being done , she said sorry and said just give me 30 more min and we will get it done. To be honest she was apologetic, and anyone can make a mistake, so I wasn t too angry about it. I went back to the waiting area and 40 min later I got a video from the service department saying that my car was ready, and they were going to wash it and send it my way. Ten min after that the car showed up and at this point, I was late for another appointment, so I signed the papers got another sorry from the manager and I left. Then the kicker!!!!, When I got home my wife was outside waiting for me and right away she said what happened to your door and there it was a dent deep enough that peeled some paint off (before anyone say how I know it happened on the dealer, I washed and polished the whole car before going straight to the dealer that morning and also the video from the technician shows the door and no dent so I assume it happened during the wash . I called back to the direct line of the manager, no answer and still no answer, either way I don t want them to do anything, I will fix it myself because I don t trust them at this point and I m pretty sure it will make things worse (sadly there is no way to fix it 100% , the best I could do is to hire someone to do some paint-less dent fix and some paint touch up). To whoever from Capo service that reads these reviews before replying or contacting me to make things right , I m not interested just please make things right for everybody else using your service department and the only way to do that is to train your people to treat those cars more carefully.Sadly, for me all these means that CAPO Mazda is out of my list for my next car (I change cars every 2 to 3 years) because at least for me is really important to be able to buy and service my cars in the same place so I can build a relationship with the dealer because that always means better deals in the long run specially for someone like me that change cars so often.To end this review in a positive note, to anyone looking on a CX-50, I really love mine, the driving dynamics is amazing (really similar to my wife BMW X3) and the look is awesome and different .Gama

Will forever take my Mazda in for service here! The staff is amazing and friendly and helpful and Hugo always gives me the top first class customer service! No matter how busy he always makes me feel like the only customer.. in the past seems like service centers sort of feel like they ll get business no matter what since they re attached to a dealership but not at Capistrano.. always top tier and I always leave with a smile and a happy Mazda!!

The best Mazda service center I have ever been to. Cyrena is the most friendly front desk I have ever talked to. The technician who helped me to diagnose the stereo issues was professional. This great team easily solved my problem that the other Mazda service center could not promise and perform. The wonderful experience made me stick with them for the next new cars.

Been getting my Mazda for years for service here and it s always been a wonderful experience until recently. Brought my car here for the scheduled appointment and the advisor wasn t there. Waited for 30 min and eventually had to leave. Disappointing.

Asked them to look into an audible clunking noise issue as part of my 30,000 mile interval but their technician insisted my Yakima roof rack made too much windage noise to diagnose during the test drive, to which I explained again only occurs at low speeds well under 40MPH. Then the service advisor stated well, that s what the technician said and they wouldn t have enough time anyways on the weekends and to come back during a weekday when they would have more technicians. I asked about a courtesy vehicle for if I were to come back during a weekday and she said it s for locals only and suggested I stick to utilizing my local dealership in Temecula. Only reason I came to them was because the Temecula location told me from a previous visit they were severely understaffed and had no weekend appointments available for the service interval I needed done. I have since traded in the Mazda and probably will not purchase another if this is the quality of all Mazda service centers across the board.

I bought a CX5 this past weekend and had a great experience with Whitney!! I have been looking to buy a vehicle to replace my car for quite a few months now... I feel that the dealerships were not willing to deal or not following through during this pandemic. A lot of the dealerships were not giving a great discount like it used to... However Whitney has been very persistent and follow up with me every week to see how my car buying status... there s another dealership which gave a good price but Whitney was able to beat it which is awesome! I much rather let a local business earn my business... She will do everything she can to earn your business! Definitely recommend her if you are going to buy a Mazda!!The whole buying process was very fast and easy, in and out in 1 hr! Whitney took the time to show me the features of my car afterwards too!! 5* service for sure!!

This was my first service of my 21 CX-5. Overall the experience was great and I really loved the inspection video. It took a little longer than I thought it would take, but I had a lot of work to do, so I barely noticed. Thanks Hugo for making everything run smoothly!

Friendly, honest, and hard working team provides the best service around, both front desk and mechanics. Went for a second opinion and saved $600+ of unnecessary work recommended by another shop.

Our sales guy Rick was just Awesome. He went above and beyond even though we were on the other side of the country. Rick took the time to make us a video showing the detail of the Miata and explain the specs of the vehicle. Truly helpful especially during COVID-19.Thank you

They remodeled a few years ago and waiting area is very spacious and good amenities. Way better than my other "highend" car Volvo service center.
