I moved away from California 7 years ago to Scottsdale AZ. And one of the things I miss the most is the honesty, trust, fairness, and knowledge of Dessert Engines and its owner, Tony. Over the years I worked near by I had the pleasure of bringing four of my autos in for repair and service with Tony, never once did i feel that i had been taken advantage of in any way. It got to the point where i would drop off my car and tell himm what every is wrong,fix jt and if you find something that looks like a future problem, do it too. He was one person who made me feel like family with his serviced. The place and its owner are worth their weight in gold, especially if you are looking for, Honesty, Fairr prices, and the best quality work for your vehicle and peace of mind! Can you make a trip out to Scottsdale Tony and help me with buying a used car next Tuesday?

I had an extremely unpleasant experience with this mechanic shop. Not only were they rude and unprofessional, but they also hung up on me twice when I was trying to inquire about their services. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend! Tony was a life saver and helped us with a car emergency within a very short amount of time and even worked past closing. You will be in great hands if you use this company!

Brought my car in after it broke down based on a recommendation. They identified and fixed the issue right away. Got my car back and paid a very reasonable price for the work. Professional service. Highly recommend.

Another amazing experience at Desert Engine! Tony is the absolute best! He guarantees his work and delivers fast and friendly service. Honest and reliable. I recommend him to all of my friends and family who live in the area. Do not go anywhere else in south OC!

Had engine problems with our '05 diesel Excursion. Got three quotes from 3 different shops running between $5100-$7300. Tony fixed the problem for $260. Simple turbo part replacement. Nuff said. I will never go anywhere else. Especially the Ford dealerships in OC!!! OMG! I guess they can't sell cars anymore so they rip off the customers in service! Thank God there's Tony!

My daddy went to him a lot for his car(and he loves his car like it was my brother lmao, he does a lot of research on mechanics before choosing one) my dad moved and I stayed down here, when I was having issues with my car my daddy told me to go to him so I did and he has always been really cool and honest. I feel like my car is in good hands and I've had plenty of bad experiences with mechanic places lol...
