I've been buying from Transtar for more than 25 years. The staff is highly experienced and knowledgeable. This location carries the largest selection of transmission parts in San Jose. I highly recommend this location!

This place operates a store on eBay under username "usa.industries" that I purchase from. The item was listed as "NEW" but when received the box and item itself had visible dirt/grime all over, clearly indicating it was not in fact new. The box for the item did not even match the listing's photo. When I contacted the seller politely, he started off accusing me that I was defrauding him and called me names. All this for a $50 item and I have been a member of eBay since 2006 with over 400+ 5 star reviews. BE WARNED, STAY AWAY.

They are very well organized they had the part that I was looking for price was a little different than what was quoted on the phone but I think that's wasn't a big issue was in fact the part I wanted it was an OEM part the warehouse is very well organized the staff clearly knows what they're doing.

I drive all the way from Richmond,ca to San Jose to get parts Even though I could have it delivered the counter guys are nice

I installed one of their transmissions in a 2001 Accord and it failed within a week. Now it is being repaired by a shop several hundred miles away. The warranty only covers $250 so my out of pocket cost to get this trans replaced is over $800. Ouch! They did say they were sorry.
