The smog check was done quickly and passed. However the technician asked me for driver's license then scanned it without telling me the purpose at the beginning.When he completed the test, I asked him if scan driver's license is required in the process. He said "No". I asked why he scanned my driver's license. He said " it's for data entry purpose, sorry I didn't tell you!"I am very concerned that he's harvesting mine and others personal info for SCAM, selling for profit or other illegal purpose.I checked the law, it appears he's doing it illegally which is "is subject to a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in county jail, a fine of up to $10,000, or both."(Civil Code Section 1798.90. 1(a)(3).) 3) Provides that a business swiping a driver's license or DMV-issued ID card for any other purpose is subject to a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in county jail, a fine of up to $10,000, or both.

I needed a DMV mandated SMOG test.I called a bunch of places in the Cambell region and this location had the lowest prices and the shortest time in and out.Came here on a Thursday afternoon. Pro tip. Call ahead to check the wait time. You should be in and out in 15 minutes.

Highly recommend this smog test place. Michael is professional, kind and efficient. No appointment is needed, but it can get busy.When we arrived there, only one car before us. But there were about 4-5 cars when we left. The test takes about 15 mins.

Fast and friendly service, highly recommended.Called first to see how busy they were. Asked what year, make, model, '97 Toyota Camry. I ask if that was a problem, said no, but it's more for certifying '96 through '99. I mentioned I was aware of that and ended up pulling up without waiting. I did print out the discount prior, but found that what I printed was 10 higher than what was on the official website. Glad that he gave me the lower advertised price.After testing on the rollers and visually inspecting, said the vehicle passed. Pointed out that I had some older rubber hoses that needed to be replaced due to age and cracking. Also, went over the test results with me. I tipped the 10 that was discounted and that put a smile on his face.Services: Smog certification, Emissions testing, Registration renewal

I went in for my smog check without an appointment. Mike was courteous and professional. Unlike my past experiences with another smog check place, I was surprised that this time, the smog check took what seemed to be 5 minutes. No drama. No ramping up my accelerator to a point where my car vibrates as if going into cardiac arrest. No stress. I needed a smog check and found a coupon online for them and decided to give them a try. I was in and out very quickly, the persson assisting was very friendly and the price was terrific!! I came here for a smog test. The owner is friendly and professional. The process is smooth and fast. Price is fair, $38 including certificate fee, $2 off if you're Veterans, Senior Citizens or AAA members.
