Last weekend I wanted to get my muffler tips pushed out about an inch. The place I had gotten my exhaust system done originally, (A1 Muffler in Morgan Hill), put them in too close to the edge of my bumper. When I asked the guy there about pulling them out a bit, he complained about how difficult it would be and how bad it would look. Well a couple of months later I noticed black soot on my bumper. So I went back to A1 and again he complained about fixing the issue that he had created and blew me off saying he had hurt his shoulder and couldn't do it this week. I called him back a week later and he said he was too busy. If you're in Morgan Hill, don't go to A1 muffler.So I decided to drive up to San Jose to get the tips fixed. Originally I had talked to the guy at Classic Muffler on Winfield and he said that he could fix them no problem. I had talked to him on a Friday and said that I would come up Saturday morning. So I get up early and drive up to Classic Muffler and guess what? The place is closed!!! Guess he didn't feel like coming to work on a rainy Saturday morning. So I drove from Morgan Hill to San Jose for nothing.I Google'd muffler shops near me and came across San Jose Muffler. I called the guy up, explained what I wanted done and he said, "Sure. Come on by." I get there and I'm the only customer in the shop. The owner there checked out the issue and had my tips in the correct position in about 20 minutes! Super easy.One thing, the guy only accepts cash. But he told me of a bank a couple of blocks away so I drove over there got some cash and drove back and paid him.I would certainly recommend this shop to anyone looking for quick, inexpensive exhaust work.Service: Exhaust

always the best value and best quality. welds are always on point and clean. one of the fastest working places i ve ever seen. they will get you in and out of there twice as fast as any other shop with better quality work as well! 100% recommend this place and will always be going here for my muffler needs.

Like my rating says it's okay his weld weren't great had a few the gaps in the joints that he welded and they might have looked like bubblegum welds. But I filled it up with some Muffler weld oh, it's some grey goop that you smear along the seam with a little bit of moisture to seal up any exhaust leaks. After that it seemed pretty good had a great sound.

This place is awesome. I came in for a small job and it was done within minutes. The craftmanship is superb and outstanding. I would recommend this place for any muffler job that you have in mind. The employee and owners are super friendly.The only down side is that it's a cash ONLY place. No atm on said location. I understand why its cash only....believe me I understand but at least have an atm card machines for transactions.

Bad customer services because they are very very busy. However the machinic did look at my muffler and check it for me. He could have told me I needed a muffler but he was honest and said I didn't need and work. I really appreciated that services.

This place is a joke and a rip off, dropped off my gas tank to get patched and creamed, quoted me 60$ then didn t have it ready on time. When I went to pick it up the tank wasn t creamed and the welds are TERRIBLE! Then he tried to charge me 90$ after I was quoted 60$ and it was late and unfinished!!! Screw this place if I could put zero stars I would.

I got cited for having a loud exaust. (Such a pain). Had to go to a state referee and have it checked out. Guessed what it failed. Min is 95 dba and mine read 98 dba. Had to put a stock muffler on my 2000 Camaro SS 6spd. Came on a Friday to SJ Muffler Shop. Quoted me 190 for everything and told me that they will have the part on monday. Monday came i show up and he just left to get the part. This is around 4pm. Took about an hour to finish. So i quickly set up another appointment with the state referee. Got appointment today 10/14/20 @ 7:20am.And yes finally passed the noise compliance test. My dba is at 92 and he rev the engine at 3750 rpm. Got certified paperwork and sticker. Relief that i don't need to stress out about this problem again.Service: Exhaust

Fast and easy install in and out in less than 30 min for a muffler replacement for a 2004 chevy colorado. Total charge was $160.

This place is BY FAR the best place I could have went to in san jose. I've always wanted an nice sounding exhaust on my TL.. this dude hooked it UP! Fantastic job. I'm truly amazed. Go here and I can almost guarantee you'll leave MORE than satisfied.

Took my 2005 Volvo s60r after completing stage 3 assembly I m a professional auto tech so was a bit hesitant on taking it to shop like this for my 3 inch downpipe but wow exhaust results was great,nice welds and nice and very clean bends would highly recommend I m taking them my Volvo s70 next week for the same 3inch exhaust thank you!!!
