My 2013 Ford Explorer s water pump failed and was leaking. Raul and Martin did a great job where they had to take everything apart to fix it. They gave me a fair rate vs a dealership would have charged. They got me up and going within a few days. They re honest and professional mechanics. I would recommend my friends and would be coming back for any future maintenance on my cars :)

I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received at this mechanic. Both Martin and Raul do a great job. I have used them for a few decades now and the times I slip and go elsewhere I'm reminded why I like to go there. It's nice to have someone you can trust with your vehicles. Very courteous! They care about their customers. I felt vey comfortable talking with them. They did only what the car needed, not what the book said for the mileage. Much appreciated. They were able to get our car in right away and completed multiple tasks quickly. We had our car back the next day. Very happy with everything. I am making Robbies Automotive our auto mechanic for sure!!! Thank you again.

I was very happy I found this place. I needed an oil change and was way past due. I called the same day I found their number on google and they told me I could stop by no appointment needed I went right after work they got me in right away. I was in and out fast I usually always have to drop my car off and leave it at other auto shops. So I was very happy I got to wait for my oil change to be done. I also had my tire light on that needed air and my window wiper fluid Light was on. I didn t tell them to do anything for that but when I got my car back they took car if the air in the tires and put window wiper fluid In for me without me asking and just took care of it, which I was super thankful for. They also let me know that my two front tires needed to be replace and showed me exactly why they needed to be replaced which I am also thankful for because I had no idea. They also made sure to tell me that my back tired were fine and did not need to be replace so when I go to get tires somewhere they won t try and get me to buy all four tires. They said only the two front ones need replacement. I will definitely be going back here from now on! So glad I found Robbie s auto shopService: Oil change

They took me in and worked on my truck without an appointment. They had all of their lifts filled with cars and said they would get to me as soon as they could ( it took about 15 minutes and my truck was up on a lift). I'm pretty sure they "bumped me to the front of the line" as there were a lot of cars in their parking area. After inspecting the driveline, they recommended replacing the center support bearing and the seals at the transmission and differential. It was noon by this time and I certainly did not expect to have it ready by the end of the day, but, it was. I truly was surprised and happy about that. I am happy about that because I live half way across the country and am trying to get out of San Jose today. Martin and Raul were beyond helpful, i would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs maintenance on their car. They were very gracious and pleasant to deal with. THANK YOU GUYS from a VERY satisfied customer!

I came in with an issue with my tires because I had one of my tires replaced recently. They diagnosed that the odd sound came from the fact that the front tires were simply worn out differently. They didn t charge me at first, but I insisted on paying for honest work. And I did.If you feel that you ve value honesty over questionable work, this is a great shop to take your car in. Invest in honest work now to save money in the long run.Thanks. Keep up the good work.

I came here because of a wheel lock I destroyed trying to remove myself after losing the key socket. Not being able to do so and extremely frustrated, I turned to the pro s for help. Martin was not only willing to assist but did so late in the day on a Friday. They saved me the stress and did it in a reasonable amount of time. Thank you so much for your help! Great service guys.

Raul is great. His team was able to diagnose and bleed by hybrid system for me. I started the ABS control unit replacement but needed an expert. Due to the nature of my intermittent problem he went a step further. After the work was complete he asked me if he could drive it for his errands to make sure the problem did not return. I m very grateful and now Ive got my car back working great. It was my first time using them but they really seem like a good shop and honest. I will return for my repair needs and recommend them. I brought my car in because I needed my check engine light issue fixed, so I can smog the car. I had already done my own research on what the code i was getting meant, that way I knew if these guys knew their stuff and I wouldn't get ripped off. When i told Martin about the problem he right away told me what he thought it could be, which was everything I had read about... off to a good start :) After running his diagnostics he found two issues and he gave me a great price to fix the issues! Once i picked up the car he even showed me the parts he changed and explained to me in detail was the issues were, which no shop has ever done, very trust worthy guys here. I even told them i wasn't in a rush for the car and I had it back in less than 2 days, which was amazing. Overall, i can say great experience, and I have found my new go to shop. This place is a gem. Martin and Raul are such easy going and nice brothers. Robbie's has extremely fair prices for work that is done above and beyond. I brought my 1987 ford f150 to get the daunting flywheel and clutch replaced, and they got it done pretty quickly. Truck is running great and couldn't be happier. 10/10 would recommend to anyoneService: Transmission

This review has been a long time coming. I originally went to Robbie's because I suspected my original dealership mechanics were overcharging me for work I didn't believe ever took place. While searching for a replacement we looked at a ton of places but Robbie's really stuck out to us because of the amazing reviews and they are a family run company.I began by bringing my wife's vehicle to them and they were able to confirm that the dealer did indeed neglect items I paid for to be done.I decided then that while I was in the bay area that these gentlemen would be the only people I trusted with my vehicles. Not only due to price but also honesty and integrity.Fast forward to about October of 2020 after about a year of them conducting services for us, I visited for an oil change. To be brief it seemed as though there was faulty work. This was my initial faulty thinking because my vehicle was leaking oil profusely.I was upset even more so because it was a Sunday and most places were closed. After coordinating a rental and a tow truck, Robbie's got back to me and offered to receive my vehicle even on a weekend!!After expressing their sympathy for my situation I was able to coordinate to have my vehicle dropped off at their shop from San Mateo.They immediately began work on my vehicle and within hours found that the issue was not with the work but rather with a mismade oil filter. Robbie's took great care to apologize for the inconveniences.But these great professionals went a step further and reimbursed me for my rental vehicle and tow truck fees. Not only that but both my vehicles have been running smoothly due to their work and I was not charged for this corrective work to take place.I felt like a valued customer and knew I was in good hands.After this amazing display of professionalism I am more determined to maintain my commitment to only utilize them for my vehicle needs. I appreciate them for their hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. Most definitely would recommend them to everyone! Hope this helps.

I recently took my car here to get the oil changed and had a concern about something wrong with my car that was causing it to shake. Martin assisted me and was really friendly. I appreciated the fact he looked into what I had asked him to check out regards to my car s shaking and it ended up being nothing. As a young person who doesn t know a lot about cars, I really appreciated Martin s honesty about not needing to repair my car yet as I feel I ve been taken advantage by mechanics before because of my age and not having enough knowledge about cars. I usually go elsewhere but I was in the area and decided to stop by after reading their reviews. And good thing i did! The team here was very helpful and professional! I came in for an oil change and they did that and checked my tires since the air pressure light was on. I'm so happy I dropped in! Thanks again guys! I have been going to Raul and Martin here for oil changes for a few years. When my transmission gave out, they replaced it with no hassle. I've also had several tires replaced here. They are always great and very quick! My wife takes her car here as well and we've always had a wonderful experience!

I'm rebuilding a 2004 mustang gt with over 250,000 miles so lots has been done and theres a few more upgrades left. Robbie noticed a very unique detail to my car that frankly, I had even forgotten about. With that said, I got a tune up and had all my coil pack connectors replaced, huge improvement and work well done. Definitely recomend.Services: Auto engine tuning, Engine repair

This is a shop! Walked in with a headlight electric issue. Immediately had two mechanics trying to diagnose. They made all the repairs wayyy cheaper than my quote from VW. There s only two mechanics I trust with my vehicles in San Jose. Robbies and Akins auto.
