Reliable Auto Repair was super helpful from start to finish! They have a transparent process where they texted me photos they took of my car during the inspection, and what they recommended based on that. I was able to pick and choose what I wanted to have done for my maintenance service. Very customized and timely. Highly recommend and I will return!

The Team at Reliable Auto Repair are amazing! They were very informative, friendly, and I really liked the Inspection Report they provided at the end of my visit. Pictures of my car s parts, under the hood, filters etc. were included in the report. So awesome!! Thanks guys!

I've been a customer with Reliable Auto Repair for eight years now. My cars were both Mini Coopers, and they were ALWAYS taken care of here. I appreciate the speed at which they work as well. I'll keep coming back, as I've been to other shops, and didn't feel like my cars were ever really fully taken care of. Ten out of ten, and I highly recommend this shop!!

I called a few weeks ago to get a price for a crank sensor relearn procedure for a Chevy 5.3.It is a procedure that literally takes less than one minute. Connect scan tool, press button, rev to 4,000rpms and done.They quoted me 100 dollars which seems like way too much but I figured I would just do it.I called back today to set up an appointment and this time was quoted 220.You have got to be kidding me. Must be an April fools joke ot something. I'll just buy a cheap scanner and do it myself. It's not ok to change the prices on your clients like that, especially for a procedure that takes less than 20 seconds and where no new parts are used.Will def not be giving my money to this shop.Talk about GREEDY

I highly recommend Reliable Auto Repair for any car issues you have. This is our go to place for all of our vehicles. Micheal and the team are all super friendly, helpful, and explain the issues and solutions with great details and patience when I don't understand what is going on.Whether it's a check up or big issue, they have always taken care of my car with great skill and good prices.

Our diesel truck stopped working in the middle of a trip from Arizona to Oregon. We were able to have it towed to Reliable and within just a couple hours they were able to diagnose and fix the problem. Air had gotten in the line somehow and the batteries needed to be recharged. They were super friendly and didn t upcharge anything or take advantage of our situation being out of towners in a tough position. We truly appreciate them! Thanks, Dan and Michelle

I would give 0 star if I can. I witnessed the owner telling a customer to leave and never return. That poor customer was really nice to him all he wanted to repair his car seems like he paid this business and came back to check on something else.To the person who told that customer to leave. You are rude and don t deserve to be in a business. You should take a custom service classes and learn how to talk to humans. I witnessed everything and you re 100% wrong.Your price is very high compare to other auto repairs in your area. I just saved $180 going to another spot.I wish I had my phone with me to take a video of your behaviour. You should be ashamed of yourself

Absolute awesome experience here. Michael is the absolute best! He's honest and thorough. He had my 15 year old 290,000 mile truck in tip top shape and safe for a 1000 mile road trip. As many people in the reviews have said, Michael and the team are amazing. This is really the only auto repair place that I trust to give it to me straight and charge great rates. I have brought multiple cars over and, even though I moved to Gilroy, plan to use them whenever I need help. Oh, I didn t even mention how fast they work.

I've been a regular customer of Reliable Auto Repair since 2014. I drive a 1976 Buick Century Wagon and a 2012 Toyota Camry. Both are kept in top running condition by Michael and his staff. Keeping a 44 year old car in good condition can be a challenge but Reliable Auto Repair seems to have no trouble getting parts or diagnosing any issues that come up. The staff is professional and courteous. I've never left feeling like I paid too much for the services received. Their prices are reasonable and the quality of their work can not be questioned!

Michael is an excellent communicator, extremely knowledgable, and has a good sense of humor -- even at 7am on a Monday. Their estimates are accurate and reasonable, outlining what repairs are important or a safety issue, and what can be deferred. I've brought 2 vehicles to him for a variety of service items as well as diagnosing &repairing. His team did the work on both very well -- and got everything right the first time. Reliable is our family's go-to mechanic now.

I've been brining my vehicles to this shop for about ten years. The level of service is bar none, let alone the work. It's difficult to find a mechanic/mechanics you can truly trust and this is exactly why I continue to come to Reliable Auto Repair. Michael explains and recommends exactly what's needed. I highly recommend people to bring their vehicles here for said reason and because you will be supporting a local business.

I thoughtI had a leaking head gasket because I was loosing coolant slowly. After checking my truck out I got the call I was dreading but it was the water pump not a head gasket. Much cheaper! They did a great job replacing the pump. Very refreshing to find honest reliable auto repair! I will definitely use Reliable Auto Repair for all of my vehicles. Thanks!Service: Engine repair

Been taking my vehicles to this shop for a long LONG time. My Mitsubishi, Mazda, Dodge and Infinity. My cars have always consistently recieved great service at a fair price. I've never driven away thinking "I think I just overpaid for this or that". I've also never had to take any of my vehicles back to the shop due to "this or that". I've also never driven away feeling like "this or that". Says a lot about a Auto Repair Shop!! Everyone there is hard working, friendly, genuine and do a great job. I chose Reliable Auto because of the great reviews and am glad that I did! My AC in my Honda stopped working on Wednesday, I called Michael on Thursday morning, took it to the shop on Thursday afternoon and it was repaired by 1pm on Friday! I needed it fixed before Saturday morning to drive an hour north for work and he made it happen! Because the AC compressor/clutch was not working, I was scared to drive it and cause more damage.Thank you Michael! It works great now!

First time customer - soon to be long time customer. Michael was courteous, friendly, and knowledgable. Gave me a quote within an hour after doing a full look-over of my truck - and did the repairs in a few hours. Got a plan for further repairs at lower cost than I had anticipated. Super!

Brought in our 2004 camry which was long due for some repairs. Michael gave a detailed breakdown of the items that were in need of repair and answered my questions about them.I had AAA do a diagnostic on the car a year back but waited to do the repairs due to the cost and this car not being heavily used much until now. Michael's assessment of the car was pretty much the same, but his quote for most of the repair items was lower.He waited for my directions on which ones to fix and got the job done in a timely manner. I'll be doing heavy repairs like this with Reliable Auto again in the future.

This is my repair shop that I have used for many years. They are reliable, efficient and good at what they do. With this shop you do not have to worry about someone trying to scam you on repairs. Family owned business with whom I stand by wholeheartedly. The father is one of the mechanics and the son is the office manager.

I have been going to this auto shop for years I highly recommend it Alex and Michael good people great mechanics honest and fair best auto shop they are definitely reliable. I live in Fremont and I drive to San Jose anytime I need my car work done even for an oil change.

Great place. I take all of my company and personal vehicles here. They're honest and tell you what's needed and if they can handle the job. They don't waste your time. I've been to many other mechanics that just blew smoke and when it came time to pay it was a lot more than the quote. I'll keep coming back.

Went there a few times. The owner seems nice.The good: their fluid exchange package is low-priced. 3 fluid exchange for $99.The bad: My A/C does not work. It would not hold the coolant for more than a day. Inspection was free. At first their technician told me I had a blown compressor. I brought in a compressor from a junk-yard. One day after the comressor is replaced, the AC will not start. This time it was the high side valve. Had it replace and recharged. It lasted two days. Then I was told that the monifold has a (old) hole, and the price tag is $500. At that moment I stopped.how good is their service? You tell me.

Not very experienced in taking care of customers best interest and more interested in making a quick buck. If a car has an issue that cannot be fixed by a brief service and a part has to be replaced to actually fix the issues just let the customer know.
