Mike and his team at Quality Tune Up have consistently taken care of me and my families cars for well over 30yrs. Get to know who you re working with because when you need them the most, they ll be there for you. Thanks again Quality Tune Up for helping make things a bit brighter on a rainy day! I brought in my car for a smog check certificate and I m pleased with the high level of service they provide. I had brought my car in last year and was really happy with their service that I decided to return. Staff are always friendly. They gave me an estimated time of 30 minutes, and my smog check actually took 15 minutes. If you need a smog and you re by Blossom Hill Rd and Snell, I highly recommend them!

"Exceptional service! I recently got my oil changed here, and they completed the job efficiently in just an hour, surpassing their estimated time. The quality of work is top-notch, and the complimentary inspection was thorough. They even recommended replacing my cabin filter. Highly impressive! This Quality Care Center has been here for many years, but you can see that the owner still takes pride! Every single one of the staff I engaged with was happy and courteous, and very helpful! (Especially Debra and Mike!) I had showed up a little bit later than anticipated one day due to traffic to get a smog check done, and the crew managed to get me in and to make me feel like I wasn't being a pain or inconvenience in anyway. They were very professional and the job was done expeditiously. I couldn't have had a better experience honestly. Even while I waited, they had hot coffee and hot chocolate in the waiting room that was warm on a very cold day. The bathroom was immaculate! (Rare) My hats off to this location for the owners and staff understanding what it takes to run a business where people will feel loyal and come back time and time again! Job well done!

I would not go to the facility at Snell in San Jose, CA. I checked my car in & was told two hours. I walked over to a shop to kill time & came back to my 2023 Genesis getting a smog was UNDER another vehicle! I couldn t believe my eyes. I had another employee who had checked my car in and was admiring it & didn t even phase him. I live in California! What was he thinking? I took these two pictures. I just saw dirt & not tread so wiped it off, but left FUMING! I showed it to my brother & luckily he lives out of state.

Took my car to Quality Tune Up on Snell and Blossom Hill for an oil change. I was greeted by a very friendly person at the front desk. They performed the oil change a 20 point inspection. The price was very reasonable and they were very fast. I would definitely be coming back for services with them.

I m so grateful to have such an honest mechanic! After taking my sons car to the dealer which is right down the street (much more convenient after we moved down to gilroy) and being told it needed $5000 worth or work. I decided it was worth the drive to take it here. After checking the car they determined that NO work was needed. Zero money out of pocket. I will always make this drive in the future! Thank you Quality Tune Up for being not just excellent mechanics, but honest ones!!!

Mike and the staff here are fantastic. I've had my car smogged here a few times - they are efficient, helpful, kind - and try to work as fast as they safely can. Great bunch of folks here. Highly recommend - no appointments, so you may wait 1-2 hours in their nice waiting area - or plan to have a friend pick you up or go shopping in the area. I trust this location, consider trying them out! Oil changes, maintenance, smogs...etc.!

Been going to Quality for over 30 years and Maintenance guru Mike has been there just as long and continues to take care of all are Car maintenance needs along with our Smog certifications. Mike & his wife were always good customers of mine at Capitol Honda & Capitol Toyotawholesale parts department for decades & are an asset to the local community providinga good repair shop. I brought my old 96 Avalon in for a smog check without an appointment & Mike got it done while I waited for a few hours.Avalon ran great even with 200k plus, desperately needs valve adjustment ( click clack noises ) valve cover leaks but it passed easily with flying colors ( way below EPA gross polluters requirements /standards ) but ironically / coincidentally engine started stuttering. I made it back to work & home but the next morning it wouldn't start ( not battery, ignition, starter )need to check for fuel...I've been to busy working to follow up & diagnose...but as of right now my super reliable Avalon left me stranded ( at home at least )I would recommend Mike's garage

$40 for smog using the online coupon.Good service, went on a Monday and it was busy took 90 mins to complete the smogcheck.However, Mike at the desk needs some customer service training- a hello a good morning or even making eye contact would be a huge improvement over nothing.

I recently needed to get my brakes done and initially got a quote from another shop that recommended things that weren t necessary (my brothers a mechanic, I called him to talk through it). Frustrated, I reached out to some friends and was recommended Quality Tune-Up. The whole experience was great end to end. Mike was patient answering all my questions, work was completely timely and was cost effective. I d recommend the shop to others and this will be my go to place in the future.

Great place and great people! Mike is a quality guy who will give you nothing but honesty (which is hard to find when it comes to mechanics) His family and employees are hard working and extremely helpful. I will come to Mike for all of my car needs moving forward. You really cant beat the prices or service. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Thank you Mike, AJ, Debra, and the whole Quality Auto team for being so amazing!

Very pleasant and professional.The smog test was completed very fast.Clean waiting room with free hot beverage available.The bathroom is very clean .Most of all they honor military veteran discount.

My family and I all ways take our car here. (6 of us) Great customer service. I took my car in for oil change and I told them I think I need new air filter, so they gave me the amount to pay when I come to pick up my car. When I went to pick up my car they said no air filter needed and took off the charge. I love the honesty.

We took our 2004 Chevy Tahoe to Mike at quality tuneup for a smog check and It was ready within a half an hour. The first time we took our car to Chevron station for a smog check it failed because we had had a dead battery and as soon as it was charged we took it ion Santa Teresa and Cottle and it failed. The person there said we d have to pay to have it rechecked! We had already paid $59.95 for nothing. The guy I talked to was not very friendly so I looked on yelp and found quality tuneup where Mike had five stars and a lot of people raving about him! Also, they do not charge for a second test for a smog check Until it passes with no more fees! Next time I need a smog check, I definitely will go to quality tuneup on the corner of Blossom And Snell Avenue!

We ve been going to quality for a very long time, Mike the manger is on the ball. Every time we go there he gets you in and out providing there s not a ton of people. No appointments, you go in anytime and if Mike can make it work, he will, they do a great job and prices are good. And if they aren t overwhelmed they you will be in and out. It s so much better than these over priced big gas stations!! Thanks guys Mrs Darlene Montalbano and Odin !!

Quality Tune Up is always thorough at their job. They will inform you of any recommendations but never pressure you. All the staff at both locations that I go to (Blossom/Snell and Monterey/Ford) are always courteous and professional.

This place is totally awesome. I have a 2005 dodge ram 2500 truck that would not start. Suspected a fuel pump and called around to get an estimate. Quality Tune Up gave me an estimate that was very close to everyone else. So I had to have the car towed there via AAA. Quality Tune Up verified the fuel pump needed to be replaced. Their process involved lifting the bed of the truck to get access to the tank which held the fuel pump. But I had welded the bed to the frame to accommodate a winch I installed which made that impossible. Mike the manager went out of his way and said they would give it a try and let me know at the end of the day. So, I was dreading that call. The call came in and I was shocked to find out they were able to do it in record time. Hurray!!!!! They were fantastic.

I came in just to buy wiper blades, and they were less expensive than I anticipated, and the guy offered to install them for me, which was much faster than me doing it myself. I really appreciated their kindness, help, and fast service. Great place, and I will come back!

Prices are outstanding. Charges 1/3 to 1/2 what a dealer would charge and most importantly the service folks are personal and genuine. Nice to know you re not talking to a used car salesman.

Got my oil changed here recently and the service has been quick & good. Although it was a walk-in appointment, they were pretty accurate with the wait time and didn't make me wait for long. The prices were also pretty reasonable.

Even though the wait was 2 hours to get the oil changed, it was worth it. I appreciate the professionalism of the team. They didn't hound me for all the extras needed. They simply recommended updated filters. I will be back.

Stopped here for a SMOG check as it was necessary for registration of an out-of-state vehicle. Was under a time crunch to get back to the DMV with the result. Quality Car Care was prompt and absolutely kind and courteous exceptional service, and a great experience.
