After searching for a new booster for my AMX for about one month I found Power Brake Exchange. I spoke with Mike who was responsive and helpful over the phone so I shipped my booster from Texas to them. They rebuilt it, powder coated it and shipped it back in about a week. This was also during the Holidays. I highly recommend them. Thank for the great service.Service: Brakes

Excellent knowledge. I am so grateful to find this place. I guess my brake booster was a rare one and I guess it was in the worst shape they have ever seen before they basically made it new again. Thank you

Excellent shop. Martin took apart my booster in front of me and showed me why is was not working properly. Later that day he had it fixed and shipped back out to me. If you need work done this is the shop to go to.

Been using them for almost 30 years.I rather have my original part rebuilt correctly.Very rarely I had to bring back to get redone.Instead of buying cheap half way rebuilt parts from your typical parts stores.Even if you get lifetime warranty from the chain stores, who wants to keep replacing about every year for life?

WARNING DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH POWER BRAKE EXCHANGE!!!!!I drove to power brake exchange in san jose from Roseville then waited outside their shop for almost 1 hour for the employee to show up to receive my order to have my 72 camper special calipers rebuilt. They told me i could expect them to be finished in 1 week. And that they could ship my calipers back to me. I waited for weeks and weeks they never returned my calls or messages. I finally spoke with someone at a power brake exchange in another state! They said they could not rebuild my calipers even though they initially told me they could and i never got them back!!!! These people do not do good business and it was VERY hard and expensive to find rebuildable replacement cores as they do not make my calipers anymore. I never did anything to deserve this treatment and they never even tried to send my stuff back or make it right with me. Shame.Service: Brakes

They did an amazing job rebuilding my master cylinder and booster. I was recommended to Power Brake Exchange by several mechanics and I recommend them as well. Honest hard working people. They do not send the repairs to China for cheap rebuilds like the big chain stores. I am proud to support them.

These guys are specialist in the complete rebuilding of power brake boosters. I was fortunate to live nearby and was able to drop it off and wait for it which was one hour for a Complete Rebuild. it was only $175 and all seals, diaphram etc were changed out. Works great, quiet and functions now as new. Save over $800 compared to a new part for my mercedes. much better option than the junk yard which wanted $200 and did not have it.

I sent in a very rare, 50 year old brake booster for a rebuild. One that was not available in the aftermarket, or from the manufacturer. I also sent in the master cylinder, because the leak from it is likely what caused the booster to fail. For a very reasonable fee, they stripped, powder coated, and rebuilt the booster, and re-machined the master. Everything worked, and the service was great. I was nervous about shipping a practically one-of-a-kind component to a shop I have never visited in person, but I am very glad that I did.

the best, my car is modified and nothing is original. They figured out it would be best to rebuild my booster and to upgrade my master cylinder to accommodate the 4 wheel disc brakes. It's nice to find a source who knows what they are doing!

The best thing about this company is the General Manager, he has been working there for 36 years and his knowledge for the product is amazing!! I recommend doing business just for that reason, he knows his stuff and is always helpful.
