The service manager was very unprofessional. He asked me if I wanted to do the car diagnostic test but it cost $400. Which the day before the very sweet lady said that they will do a under car check for free. And when I explained that to the manager he got mad and told me that there is nothing free here at his shop and told me to come pick up my vehicle by 2pm or he will get it towed away. I was at work so I had to leave work and had to get my mother to come pick me up from work and bring me their before 2pm. This manager needs to learn how to speak to ppl with respect. That was the worst experience I ever had with a business. But all the other employees were so nice.

Did vehicle inspection at location at 4701 Hamilton ave, San Jose, CA. Excellent experience: the team is friendly, knowledgeable, did the inspection quickly and no hassle at all, for a very reasonable price. Will definitely come back for the next inspection. I also have some suspension needs on my other car, will bring it to them for sure (just need to find time for that).

Fixing a tire on Saturday early morning can be a challenge, unless you know about this place.I came as soon as it opened and was welcomed by the manager. I was able to get my car fixed asap and managed to return to my Saturday original plans. I can t thank you enough team Meineke.

I went to Meineke on Hamilton with a complex brake problem; I was met with a very honest attempt at finding the problem including a test drive could not reproduce the symptoms; this lead to a computer reading being taken from my vehicle which they were kind enough to print multiple pages and direct me to the path I needed to get the problem fixed; all free of charge. I appreciate their honesty and integrity and warm and welcoming service, thank you!

They were so amazing, I came in for the check engine light as a walk in and was fit in that same afternoon. They figured out the problem and Benny went above and beyond to get everything sorted for me and find out that it should still be covered under warranty and gave me all the info I needed for taking it to the dealership. Very personable and professional, very trustworthy. I m converted to using them for my future needs and highly recommend them!

Benny was really nice and welcoming! And I had a good conversation with him! Oil change service went pretty fast, I was expecting a longer wait but everything went well. Gonna come back here next time!

My oil change went fine. Got charged $38 dollars for supposedly fixing a tire that was losing air pressure slowly. Four days later the tire is still losing air pressure :-( I told Meineke to not rotate my tires, but they did it anyway. Not the best experience I ve ever had.

Yet another car business that takes a look at the customer, sees that she's a woman, and tries to rip her off. Yep...came in for an oil change and before they'd even turned the car on to move it they'd found over 1900 dollars worth of problems...and I needed my wheels aligned and my tires balanced...all this just from looking at my car as it sat waiting for its turn for an oil change....took my car to a real mechanic ...one that actually is more than a glorified jiffy lube...and that treats people with respect... A1 Tire in Santa Clara ...and surprise I had NONE of the problems meinike said I did...so either they rip off senior citizens and women or they steal from every one and you should not go there

I made an appointment online for a synthetic oil change. Appointment was confirmed and I arrived about 5 minutes early.I was pleasantly greeted by a young lady who took my information and I waited for all the work to be completed. While I was waiting I helped myself to a Keurig coffee and a cup of water.They not only changed the oil, but checked the tire pressure. I had used a Groupon coupon and the price tag was $24.95 out the door.I finished the deal with a polite young man at the counter. Everyone was so customer friendly, I'll DEFINITELY be back.5 stars!

Nice people. Checked in my car quickly and got the job done fast. They also charged lower fees compared to the dealership. It was the second time taking my car to Meineke and all went well.

My experience is very different from last! They have a new person who suggested work that wasn't needed coming up with a quote for $1,500. Luckily a second revision by a more honest and ethical person reviewed the work order and only did the work that was needed making the final cost reasonable. I have left other mechanics in the past for being dishonest charging me for work that it's not needed or not done at all!I hope the owner of this shop reads this review and evaluates who he hires because having dishonest people is only going to affect his business in the long run. I may or may not return to this shop if I don't trust the person taking the orders and lying pushing for jobs that are unrequited. Unethical!

Came in to get my oil changed, but got way more.They did a general inspection and let me know that I also should consider changing my filters brake fluid and ...They're super nice, efficient.Definitely going to be a regular there because I know they'll take care of me and my car.

They kept my car for 10 hours just to change tires. When I picked the car up my sensor wasn t reading but it was end of day. I brought it back after the weekend and they wanted to charge me for the sensor and they also said another tire had a leak, which they also wanted to charge me for. After some back and forth they decided they would cover the sensor since my car is a 2020. 3 hours later and 2 sensors later I get into my car to grease stains all over the interior. Came in for a flat repair land landed up buying 4 tires and got know a change which was awesome.Due to the rainy weather and the wipers. Wow, unbelievable one-stop AutoShop.

I made a same-day appointment for a new battery because my car was not starting up properly. Took about 30min.It was a huge relief to get in and out on a Saturday with such short notice. Woman at the customer service desk was super friendly and nice.Service: BatteryService: Battery

Great place to get your car checked for almost any worries you get. The personnel is welcoming and they're pretty good at responding to calls and handling schedules. Their work ethic is impeccable. I went in with my tire nugs screwed into the mold so hard they couldn't be pulled off. They took the whole weekend to remove and replace them as safely as possible. And they always assess and let you know what the procedure will be and an estimation of what it will cost you. Definitely recommends.

Had a leaky tire that they were able to patch within a half hour complete with some helpful info about what caused the issue and what the previous shop had done to address the issue. Quick, easy, and cheap!

3/23/23 -Great quality workers who problem solve and get the job done within in the time they promise! I switched from Wheel Works to Meineke! Just recently visited on 2/15/24 for an oil chg. And I got a whole inspection on my carWhich I did not ask for, only to make sure the brakes where ok. Benny helped me at the deskVery new associate to the store, not too sure if I want to go back at this point. I told him I thought normally when they do an oil chg they would come back and ask if the customer would like to verify if they should chg the filters for you as well. Buy Benny at the time of service said, " that they didn't have time to do that and i would have to make another appointment to have that done. Really not good customer service. My car was not leaking oil before the oil change but it is now! 2/20/24 I went back to meineke and spoke to the owners Jon and Heather and they solved and presented all the needs that my car would need. They are fabulous people. Rest assured I know I can count on this meineke car center to fix problems correctly. Update #2:Better Business Bureau Reported, it seems this wasn't the first time they tried to scam someone at this location for a water pump when not needed. Glad i went else where.Update: When the repair was done but issue remained, i took back to meineke they said i needed a new water pump at $500. I got second opinion this is exactly what my second opinion said:Check out the pic Saul, I found your thermostat bleed screw leaking. I ordered a new one (cost $50) then I have to retest for any other leaks. Ill let you know what I find.Dropped my Dodge Challenger off on the 7/27/2020, picked it up on the 7/29th/2020 around 11am. The issue was not fixed after paying $1065. On top of that, they left my engine cover in car in the back seat that still had residue of oil, coolant etc. Also on top of opening the hood to check things out, they left a 8mm head attached to a bolt in my engine. Very poor value, not to profesional standard at this location unfortunately. BTW if you neex your 8mm head, call me!

Ria and Anthony are extremely helpful and professional. I took my car in today with a nail in the tire. It was done very quickly. Turns out I needed to get 4 new tires and they gave me a great price. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone who has car problems! -Jon

Called this morning to see if an appointment was possible to get my oil changed. The man/ manager Eric answered the phone was very condescending about the question I asked of an appointment. I then proceeded to ask if I can bring my car in for a walk-in and he never answers my question but just being rude towards me. He proceeds to hang up the phone while I was talking. I have been coming to this establishment for years and brought both my cars here. Thank you Eric I will never be a return customer!
