After taking our Jag to Wheel Works for an oil change and a lifetime alignment, I had to take it to Leale's because of the incompetence of the service adviser at Wheel Works.When there is an issue with a vehicle, the advisor is supposed to point it out. Every time I would ask, he would mumble something and walk away. So, instead of dealing with incompetence, I sought out a better option. Leale's was within walking distance and was able to get the car in quickly. Little did I know the true issues with the car.When I purchased this car, I bought an extended warranty through CarMax, and I am so glad now. The car had a lot of "little" issues that turned out to be expensive issues because it is a Jag, and the warranty requires Jag parts.Jim and Tyler were both fantastic. Jim spearheaded the conversations with the car warranty company, and he got more than 80% of the repairs covered. While it took longer than I would have liked, that is another issue with owning a Jag.So, let me say it this way. If you have an issue with your car, regardless of the make or model, call these guys. They are phenomenal, and they will take good care of you. We are now customers for life.

Very knowledgeable staff that go above and beyond to help. They did a thorough check of my car and provide quality work and customer service very step of the way. I will be taking my car to them moving forward. Highly recommended.

Let me start off with saying If you looking for a honest and professional shop with fair prices Leales is the place to go. They exceeded my expectations with outstanding professionalism Mr Jim I m calling him lifesaver lol because that s exactly what he is I had no idea what I was gonna do my car was leaking antifreeze everywhere I contacted Mr Jim he told me bring it in not only did he get the job done at a reasonable amount of time but his cost was much better than what was quoted from other shops and my car is driving like new again. He also is a man of his word he told me he will try to have my vehicle ready by the time I had to pick up my daughter from school and he exactly did that. I m forever grateful for him and his team and will be most definitely going back to let him service my vehicle for whatever else is needed. I highly recommend this shop Thank you Mr Jim God bless you guys over there keep being great and doing awesome work.Mr Thompson

My Lexus' transmission was acting up, and I knew I must have it checked. I searched via YELP for a transmission shop in San Jose. Leale's popped up and I called them this morning. I talked to Jim and he asked me to bring the car in for checking. I brought my car to Jim's shop.I called back to check on status in the afternoon. He told me the car was reset to have the transmission back to normal. I was so happy for that. Jim is very friendly and professional providing great customer service. I really appreciated Jim for the excellent service. I highly recommend this shop.

I ve had such a great experience with my forester here. Got a new radiator installed after a break down. Contacted Leale s and they said I could tow it over even though they were closed. Drop Box! My 2001 Town&Country transmission had a breakdown. Other shops I called said I have to wait for some time. Jim from Leale's Transmissions took it immediately to diagnose. They found the TCM is the problem but they cannot find the part because my van is too old. I found one on eBay. Jim let me take the van back home without charging me while I was waiting for shipping. After the part arrived, Jim took two weeks to find the problem and eventually fixed. And still charged me a reasonable fee. Excellent service! Highly recommendedService: Transmission

I brought my miata in as it was leaking a bit of oil and they were very honest with me from the get go. They didn't try to push any needless repairs onto me so I was very happy with that. I will definitely come back here in the future when I want to upgrade my clutch!

Ok....so i cannot express how great Jim is!!! He is so personable, so friendly and ONE HUNDRED percent trustworthy! My car needed major repair and he worked with me so that it didn't become this huge stressful thing for me. I will not take my car anywhere else...i cannot say enough about Jim and his extensive knowledge on cars and just the way he treats his customers. False Advertisement and bad quality.I took my Subaru there to upgrade my clutch for a performance one. My whole transmission gave up after a week with just daily driving it from home to work. They also charged me for the estimate even though they advertised "free estimates". They refused to honor the "6 month warranty" that they promised. Not recommended at all! Extremely disappointed to the point that I had to make this review!Davis V.

The staff is honest and friendly! They are people you can trust to fix your problems and not try to empty your wallet in the process. They are my new shop and are currently caring for both of my vehicles when needed. Thanks Guys!

Professional bunch although their estimate was more than the car is worth they were honest and helped me make a difficult decision. Parking is tight at their location so call ahead.

Honest, nice, knowledgable, and professional! I would highly recommend Leale s.After receiving a very high quote for a repair at the dealer, I took my Audi here to get a second opinion. Jim took a look at my vehicle and it turns out that I probably don t even need what the dealer had recommended (the issue is likely with a different, cheaper part).Leale s has saved me thousands and I am grateful!Service: Transmission repair

I came here as a result of my starter going out. I called on a Sunday evening and they were able to fit me in for the next day Monday! They were very professional and you could tell they knew exactly what they were doing, the entire experience here was great. I personally know only a little about cars and they were happy enough to walk me through everything and make sure i understood everything and the steps thats needed to be taken. The service was relatively quick. Super happy and WILL be coming here again and recommending!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Can't say enough good stuff about Micah and the crew here! They took great care of my baby and brought her back to life (new engine & transmission) Its hard to find services one can trust for something as important as your transportation. I've been bringing my cars to Leale's Transmission for over 10 years. I've received impeccable service each and every time--from basic oil changes to major car repairs. The services have been well done and I have never had any problems. Those that work there are professional, kind and easy to work with in person and over the phone. The technicians quickly diagnosed the problem and determined the faulty component. The part was not available locally but they persisted and were able to get it shipped from the factory. Once the part was installed they double checked everything. The repair was completed as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price. The personnel are friendly and very efficient. I highly recommend Leale's and will definitely be using them in the future.Service: A/C installation & repair

We just had our Honda serviced there, and the customer service was great. I left two messages to schedule an appointment over the holidays and they called me back each time, even though they were closed. They serviced our car on the first work day of the new year and had it done by noon. Very convenient and easy to work with.

Such a wonderful experience! Leale's got me in the same day my car broke and it was fixed the very next day! CarMax couldn't even get me in for a month!! They even scheduled a rent a car for me and it was all smooth as could be. They called several times with status updates - I'm SO glad I lucked into Leales!

Car completely broke 2 days after repair (transmission total failure). Came to Leale's Auto with noise what appeared to be from transmission. Specialist at Leale's said it was not the transmission but wheel bearings. Job was verbally quoted at $650. When I came to pick it up the price went up to $950. It made me wonder if the questions like "what do you do for living?", "where do you work?" and "when did you buy your house?" were courtesy in nature. So, I'm out of $950 with completely broken car (I was able to drive it before the repair). I don't know what happened - it's an older car, but choose your auto mechanic wisely.

I brought my car in at 8am yesterday and by 11 am I got the call the car was fixed and ready to go. It was less than $290 for parts and labor. This was a busy garage My car was important and they fixed it. I am astounded because as a woman I have been in bad places with auto repair I was charged three thousand dollars for a timing chain that was under warranty. I was young and naive and had to take a loan out. I REALLY APPRECIATE HONEST BUSINESSES AND LEALE'S IS HONEST in addition the car was clean when I picked it up The steering wheel , no grease, the floor no greasy papers with foot prints all over, I will definitely use Leale's for both my cars needs

Our 2008 Saturn Outlook transmission was rebuilt at 55K miles in 2016. Fast-forward to 85K miles in 2021, and we are getting a terrible vibration from the transmission. I take it back to Aamco to identify the (new) problem, and they tell me that the transmission once again needs to be rebuilt for $4.4K. Ouch. I take the Outlook to Leale's for a 2nd opinion, and Jim takes a test drive and calls me to say that he feels there is a good chance that the transmission shudder can be resolved by using a friction modifier fluid. Bingo. Jim & Co. saved me over $4k through their knowledge and honest service. We will now be taking all three of our vehicles to Leale's Automotive.Service: Transmission

I took my Ford E350 van in for what I thought would be maintenance. It turns out they found several significant issues, all just before a long drive up to Washington. Jim, Steve, and the whole team at Leale's have been so helpful with our Honda Odyssey and VW Passat wagon. We keep coming back because of their awesome service and their ability to get our vehicles in and out as soon as possible. They have proven time and time again that they are trustworthy and helpful!
