I have been going to L&T for over 20 years when Vinh s father was running the shop. He was a great and honest mechanic and Vinh is the same! I have referred many friend there.

These guys are going to be my go-to mechanic for a while. Vin is simply the man. He took me in, on a whim, on a rainy busy afternoon for an engine check light, and was quick to diagnose the problem and offer a solution. Vin was easy going, patient, knowledgable, and took the time to carefully explain the situation to me despite me interrupting his hectic schedule. I ll be coming back, and will refer these guys to others. Thanks again Vin!

These guys are fantastic! I replaced a leaking master cylinder and could not get the brakes to work correctly. They went through the whole brake system and discovered the new master cylinder I installed was defective.They replaced it and everything is working as it should. They also gave me advice on how to attempt to recover some of the labor costs from the business where I purchased the defective master cylinder.Pricing was fair for the work they did. I highly recommend this business for your car repair needs.

They could have cheated me many times but they have always been honest and affordable. Nice and professional guys. Good prices......many shops near me, but I drive about 30 minutes just to go to them. Light rail train is only 1 short light away. Very convenient

This review is long overdue. Diep is knowledgeable and funny and honest. My experience with him is the best mechanic shop experience I ve ever had.I never had to wait long on the phone and was promptly updated on the work being done. I was never talked down to or overcharged. And I love it when mechanics bring you back and show you what s going on underneath your car!I had a crash back in late October but figured my car would be salvageable with some TLC. Diep figured out exactly what needed to be done so that I could make the trip back home and do the rest of the repairs with a friend.If I ever need any maintenance while I m near SJ again, I ll be coming here.

You just can't get better customer service when getting your car repaired than here at L&T Auto. It is located on a busy corner of Lincoln Ave, but I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else. Vin is a man of high integrity and he is so personable. Being a woman, I know I'm not getting ripped off here. Great prices, great service, hands down!

Diep is passionate about keeping my car on the road. He is realistic about repairs, and makes sure to show me any problems that will need a costly repair. He thinks through ways to work around needing new parts when it's safe, and I regularly get a final bill that is a bit under the estimate. I've never needed a re-fix from any of his solutions.Honest, rock-solid work, fast, friendly, and totally in your corner. Can't imagine a better mechanic!

Best auto repair shop!! Always straight forward with repairs. No hidden charges what so ever. I've been coming here for over 15 years. The service gets even better when you are a regular customer. I have 2 older cars, my sons older '98 BMW, and my 2 older work trucks that always seem to need something because of the age & miles on the vehicles. L&T always there for me and I've never had "That Feeling" that I just got taken to the bank. Thanks Guys!

Very nice people to work with under the circumstances their work was reliable and priced fairly. They are not greedy. I recommend them to all of my friends. You will be a longtime customer if you decide to bring your car into their shop.

Recently had a cooling-system issue and while I was certain I needed to replace my radiator, I had Vinh double-check if any other issues were present. He was thorough and it was such a breeze that I wasn't even charged for the diagnostic. Thank you Vinh, for giving me the confidence to get back on the road comfortably. I appreciate both your honesty and integrity.

I appreciate the employee who helped perform an engine diagnostic. As a woman it is daunting going to the auto shop for fear I will be swindled/taken advantage of.But the gentlemen here did honest work and pricing. I will be returning whenever I need work done on my vehicle.

Justin is just Amazin.I barely leave any reviews here.He replaced my ac compressor and he saved me thousands of dollars.He is honest polite and hard working. I could see in his eyes he does want to do it for me and in my case it was very hard but he did try 4 times until he was able to make my ac running.Thank you Justin.

I never leave reviews but I just have to. Car repairs are supposed to be a hassle, I used to think "aw man, now I gotta take my car in some place" now I think "sweet, I get to see Vinh" it's like I don't even have to be upset anymore. I met Vinh when he was the only mechanic between Campbell and San Jose willing to take me late at night with 5 minute notice after my radiator cracked on my way home from work. He was extremely helpful and I am so thankful to God to have found this place. I recently took my truck in to have the brakes done, oil change, smog check, maintenance stuff, and he realized I didn't have a ride so he took his lunch and drove me to school. I can name more things that I'm thankful for but the bottom line is he and his family who runs the place are very generous, financially and with the time they will invest in their customer's wellbeing, he truly wants to get to know everyone who comes his way. This is a family run shop that treats you like family. You can trust this place.

because my car received body damage from being rear ended, i wasn't able to fully get service here. but the mechanic looked at my car anyway! he lifted up my car and showed me what he could see was wrong with it already. he was very funny and super kind! very patient and welcoming, too.

Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Diep and all the guys here do great work at a good price. Had to get my alternator replaced and they did the repair in no time.

Can t speak highly enough for quality of service and pricing, Vinh stayed open for me past 7 after I had called in and told him I was on the way but in traffic.He handed the vehicle inspection beforehand and told me straight, I appreciate his services and will definitely be back.

I've been going here for several years there good at what they do also to get a smog and I like you can drop off your car early and put key through slot and they stay open till 6pm I've Recommend my friend's they also been using their servers and happy with there work

I have no idea why my experience wasnt as great as everyone elses but it wasnt. Nice guy but when I pay $600 for repair I don't expect a quick fix that's only going to work a week. Maybe they're just not equipped to work on older vehicles. Took it to another place they fixed it and I have not had to take it back to them once.
