Had a flat and got to the side of a freeway in San Jose. Called at least 10 tire shops and all either were too busy to help, didn't have the tires in stock, or were charging $400+ a tire plus fees.I gave JD Tires a call and talked to Carlos. They not only got me a set of 4 tires with each being less than half the cost of the competition, they came out on the side of the freeway within an hour and their Technician (Cristian), put the new tires on. In addition no hidden fees, free rotation, no chagr on alignment or balancing. Very highly recommend these guys. They have a customer for life.

So attentive and great with timing.. walked in around on 10.24.23 @2:40pm and picked up my car not even an hour later paid attention with style that I preferred and most importantly safety . Got new tires,rims, and included alignment.. also repainted brakes Melly is the best, helped me over the phone and next day got all taken care of Thank you for the refreshers while waiting. The owner is awesome

JD Tires is awesome. If I could give them a 10 review, I would! My tire busted on my way to work because of a pot hole. They are extremely helpful and can't beat their prices! I'm not from San Jose area, so I just prayed they would be nice people and not try to overprice. I recommend JD Tires Thank you Charly!

Seriously, BEST customer service ever. If I could give JD Tires & Custom Wheels 10 stars I would.Got an extreme flat tire on Friday evening of a holiday weekend. AAA was able to tow my car home.Since it was unsafe to drive my car even a block, called several mobile tire repair businesses.Finally called JD Tires. Carlos was super helpful gave me an excellent price, said he d pick up new tire & could be at my home in SF at 7:00 pm.He drove to SF from San Jose in a rain storm. Showed up on time, removed flat, balanced new tire in his truck, replaced, & filled all tires w/air.This was all done in under 30 min.Plus new tire is under warranty for a year.To get that kind of service, in this day and age, was beyond impressive. Highly recommend JD Tires.

I am extremely grateful for JD tires coming to my rescue. Sunday night I got a flat on 17, car has no capacity for spares. AAA completely dropped the ball and after 4.5 hours waiting by the side of the road I found my own tow company to bring me home. The next morning I had another mobile tire shop lined up who kept saying they were on the way but never came. 2 hours later I found JD who had a used tire in my size in stock and was to me within 20 minutes. Tire was replaced in less than 10 and I was back on the road. I m truly grateful for the professionalism provided and just basically grateful they actually showed. I am looking forward to future business with them should the occasion arise.

I have been a customer for 6 years now. So I blindly trusted them and when my girlfriend asked where she should go for new tires, I recommended this place. But they basically took advantage of her and sold her ironman tires that cost ~$70 everywhere else (walmart, amazon, pepboys, etc) for $139 each. So double the price. She ended up paying ~$270 more. It was really sad experience for me and made me lose my trust in them entirely.The tire in question was Ironman GR906 205/55R16 in case anyone else wanted to check.

Flat tire? Slow leak? Quick swap? Or even fancy a red or blue caliper? They do it all and do it with a friendly attitude. No sleazy sales pitch or upselling. I m very particular about the brand and types of tires I use so I shop online. Get it shipped to JD Tires and have it installed. They have several locations in town. Always check oil and coolant, but never ever forget to inspect your tires. Happy new year!

I called JD Tires because I need a set of tires immediately I called asking if they had my size tires in stock and spoke to Mariana- she was super helpful and sent an application to me for financing I was immediately approved and I had my tires and alignment all in 30 min! This to me is superb customer service. Thanks to the entire JD Tires team.Happy Holidays

JD Tires is the best tire shop in the bay area! Great service, reasonable priced and very friendly!I came in 5 min before they were closing up shop and they still helped me out replacing my four tires.I really appreciate the top notch customer service!! I will be definitely coming back!

Waked in on a Sunday and I was very happy they were opened. They helped me right away and luckily had tires in stock for my car. Not the cheapest and I probably could have gone elsewhere if I had time. However, their price includes the balance/alignment and a warranty. Got all new tires within an hour. They had plenty of seating and offered me water. Thank you JD for being opened on a Sunday! Bless up.

Went in for a bent rim, turns out my tire was warped and destroyed with a nail inside it too. They got me two used tires with almost all the tread still on them, fixed the rim like new, and did it in about 30 minutes for $200. Amazing service and prices. I could not speak highly enough of how professional and quick the service was with amazing prices.

My second time going to JD tire shop. Carlos helped me he's awesome and very professional. Listened to what I needed and got it handled for me. Gave me a excellent very fair discount. I am pleased with him and the gentlemen and young ladies who works there. I am definitely looking forward to coming back in future for more services. I will also share with family and friends on where to go if they want top notch services. Alum Rock JD location deserves 100 stars not just five.

Getting set up was fast and easy. My tire was repaired within an hour of calling. They were cheaper than going to some tire repair shops and they come to you!

Place is now on 709 Coleman avenue. Came in to change tires and instead of what agreed on, they installed a different brand. None were balanced . Asked if breaks were good to go on the vehicle for a trip to Yosemite. The mechanic Francisco said they were good for another 4 months and had 40 percent remaining. Coming back from the Yosemite, had to stop due toEmergency. Noise was coming from the breaks. The mechanic at another place discovered that the mechanic at tires and customs wheels has not checked the breaks on another side. The break was completely gone. Now I have to change rotors. It is a job of the mechanic to check both sides of the breaks before it causes the additional damage.

I phoned a number of tire stores looking for used tires for my 1990 Toyota Camry. JD was the only one I found that had any available. I had been driving around on my spare because a tire had a slash in the side wall and would leak air only when parked in a cerain orientation. My spare started coming apart so I pumped up the slashed and put it back on the car. I assumed it would last at least for the distance to JD Tires. I assumed wrong. It was flat halfway there and I was stuck along the side of the 880 freeway. I phoned JD. They sent out a truck that had all the tire replacement machinery inside as well as having the tire I was going to buy. It was a brilliant set up. The driver changed the tire in the truck at the side of the freeway. I then drove to JD, bought a second used tire as a spare and was on my way. If I had used any other tire store I would have been stuck. I already had JD's number in my phone. The fact they had "towing" (actually mobile tire mounting) saved me from a disaster.

Mr Carlos helped me out to the point I was not stranded for the weekend. My car does not come with a spare but he improvised and made a spare for it so I can be free to go and fixed my damaged wheel as well.

Meli was the best and all the guys were very informative and helpful. People are scared to go to tire shops afraid of getting ripped off, but JD Made me feel at home and gave me the best price. Honest and Straight to the point, in and out. Highly recommend if you are trying to get wheels or tires or related work.
