I had to replace the two front tires on my car due to wear and tear. After ordering the new tires, I scheduled an installation appointment. On the day of the appointment, I dropped off my car at 5:30 PM. However, as time passed, I realized I hadn't received any progress updates. Concerned, I went to check and found my car in the bay with the front tires removed. Though they were working on it, there was no apparent progress, so I intermittently checked back without any significant developments.Eventually, a staff member approached me and admitted they couldn't locate the new tires. As a result, they had to reinstall my old tires and reorder the replacements, necessitating another installation appointment. This setback added another 30 minutes to the process, extending it to 8 PM. Having waited for 2.5 hours in vain, I missed a dinner appointment with my family at a restaurant, leaving me cold and hungry.Despite waiting for a week for a new appointment confirmation, I received no notification. When I visited the tire center, I was shocked to learn that my order had been canceled. Seeking a refund, I was informed it would be returned to my card since the order was voided.Subsequently, I opted for American Tire, where the process was smooth and efficient. The price was comparable, no appointment was necessary, and the job was completed in 1.5 hours. Additionally, they placed the new tires at the back and moved the existing rear tires to the front, considering their faster wear. This thoughtful service contrasted with Costco's plan to install the new tires at the front.Unfortunately, the refund from Costco never materialized. After a week, I received a phone call from Costco regarding the tire replacement. I informed them that I had already replaced the tires elsewhere and requested a refund. To my surprise, I was instructed to visit the tire center and speak to a supervisor to initiate the refund process, leading to another inconvenient trip.Overall, my experience with Costco Tire was exceptionally poor. At every step, they failed to deliver the expected service and created unnecessary inconveniences. Due to these issues, I have decided not to use their services in the future.

If I could give 0 stars I would.... Grow a heart Costco Tires, and care about people's safety.I purchased tires and made the appointment same day, they were booked almost 2 weeks out. My son's tires ended up being a lot worse than expected and we got a rain storm about 8 days after ordering... he got a flat and it was unrepairable. So we put a spare on, very scary to drive in the rain on highways, especially Hwy 17 where we live. the other 3 were just as bad on the inner tires that were not visible before, till we looked under the car.We went in and asked for same day since our tires were there and I already had an appointment just a couple days later. We explained the urgency and safety concerns, hard no. I mean, who does that? We went back again, still hard no....Our only option to get it done before appt was to wait in line AN HOUR before opening to get a slot (in the rain, 17yr old kid). I find that unacceptable. They wouldn't even take the car to get to it next day b/c "We can't do paper work unless it's same day" If we left the car, we still had to come back next day before opening...I get they are busy, and backed up... but come on... where has humanity and empathy gone? Tires are THERE, I HAVE an appt, AND this is a kid's car that's absolutely unsafe to drive in a rain storm with a spare on...On top of all that, we did go at 8am, checked in the car in 3rd place for walk in and he didn't get the car back till nearly 9pm!!!! they close at 8:30pm mind you... I find that absurd...I have friends that say it's not a bad experience when they go in at appointment, so likely would have had a different view if we could have made it to then... but just the sheer fact that they had NO empathy for the safety and uniqueness of our situation will ensure I never get tires at Costco again... back to America's Tire Co. it is... where they do everything they can to be helpful... I thought Costco would have high standards, I was mistaken...

This review is for MARIANO & TONY.Outstanding and super friendly service with them. I was searching for a tire that was out of stock, so I had to call a handful of Costco s to locate one. Mariano was so helpful and friendly on the phone. Tony was so nice and helped me carry the new tire to my car and even put it in a plastic bag to avoid getting my trunk dirty.

A few months back, i placed an order for my Lexus. Took forever to arrive, and when i asked an employee if it was safe to leave my car overnight he said "oh its perfectly safe" little that i know a couple of days later my license plates were stolen and they just can't do anything since they don't have safety cameras. Somehow they never EVER answer the phone. In person they are attentive and all, but come on people answer the telephone .Only reason i don't cancel my membership is because i love going to Costco for my groceries.

Dropped off my car on 6/20 for a tire change around 9am after waiting 1 week for my tires to be delivered. I get a call around noon saying that my lug nut key broke and if I could bring a new one in to finish the installation. I said that I could not and they broke it so they are liable (I've never used a tire shop without their own 6 spline remover btw). The person I spoke with over the phone said that they would call me back because he needs to speak to a manager since that decision is above him. I wait until 6pm to call and ask on the status of my car. They said it was done. I get there, the tires were not installed. They put my spare on and did document on their work order that they attempted to call me on my old number since my number they just called me on to explain how they broke my lug nut remover was no longer working? Makes sense. So, upon closer inspection, they didn't just break the lug nut remover, they snapped off the entire bolt inside of my hub. To make sure this wasn't an issue with my car, I spent the weekend taking each lug off one by one to make sure they were't frozen in my hubs. No problems on my end. Besides that fact, my front bumper was scratched from a bad parking by an employee. Lug nut bolts were missing from my wheels, along with my rims being scratched from a forced installation job. I almost cancelled my costco membership, but I love costco. I would just recommend better customer service and management for this location. Every visit has left something to be desired. I do not recommend this shop for their tire services.

I won't recommend to do tire installment here. I got serious issue after new tire installation, tried to call but they never pick up the phone call. I can only come to tire center directly, but technician's feedback was useless and they didn't do any inspection even I addressed my concern.

They no joke don t answer the phone. I ordered a specific set of tires online as it was slightly cheaper than other places. After buying them I tried to book an appointment online and nothing available for 3 weeks. I tried calling a bunch of times, they don t answer the phone. Finally I just showed up before they opened to a line of 15 people who got there earlier than me. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, I was able to give them my car. The car wasn t done until almost 4pm that day.Let me be clear these workers are hustling, I m not calling them lazy. This is just the Costco model. I will never buy tires at Costco again because even though they can fix a flat I m not going to wait in line that long again so they can take a whole day to fix it!If your time is worthless, this place offers great deals. For me, I ll pay an extra hundred next time and get much better service from somewhere else.

Horrible front desk customer service. The young lady, Ariana or something, didn t acknowledge us when we arrived. Walked out with another customer (assuming to help him out) and still purposefully ignored us. Would never come here again if it wasn t an emergency.

The costco for everything is perfect, but I had flat tire and going to almaden tire center and speak with Angel, I don t know he is supervisor or no and he tell me you need made appointment for tomorrow, the time for this center until 8:30 , I was 6:30 pm there , but so easy to tell customer we are short staff and we can t do anything, it s not good , when sell tier, just show best service and any time you have flat tires your welcome, but is not correct, just for sell business. I m not happy for this kind of services, if you have time for service, you need take care from customer.

We always buy our tires from Costco. The Almaden location is great to work with and always stand behind their work. Daniel is very knowledgeable and, tells it like it is (in a good way).

Avoid this tire center!!! The technicians there are unkind, rude, unprofessional and not helpful! The tire center opens at 9am and I got there at 9:05. I waited in line until 9:30. After the technician asked me a few questions about my tires, I said that I was here for a tire repair. He turned me away and said that they were very busy and couldn't accept anymore walk-ins. I asked him to please take a look at my car whenever he had time. He still said no. His was rude and told me to go ahead and file a complaint. I drove to the Costco on Raleigh and had a totally different experience. They were super nice and helpful and fixed my car within two hours. They have never refused my service even when I brought my car in at 4pm.

I got run flat and had 4 tires changed today and after I reset the tpms it shows 48 47 19 40. I thought it was problem of tpms so I drove to office. You know what, after that I just put my own 12v air bumper and it shows 19 on the rear right tire. That s unbelievable , it looks to me they don t do any check before handing over to customer.

Absolutely worthless. They guarantee your tires but they won't fix them but the guy down the road did for 25 bucks .I order tires from them. They wait a week and tell you they're out of stock. Then I ordered another set of tires. I'm at the store for over an hour and then they call me .They said they wouldn't put summer tires on in the winter.I'm done. Costco ties the tire guy's hand so tight they can't do anything. Again, worthless.

Service extremely slow, just spent an hour waiting in line and my problem still didn't get solved since they ran out of walk-ins.

Bad customer service. Talked to someone on the phone who said they didn t have appointments available but I could show up an before open to get a walk-in appointment when someone would be there to setup the appointment. There s people inside, but doors stay locked til open. You re best off elsewhere if you can afford it. I can t speak to the service because I ended up leaving after sitting outside for half an hour.

STAY AWAY FROM COSTCO TIRE CENTER IF YOU WANT TO GET YOUR VEHICLE BACK WITH SCRATCHED RIMSThey won't own up to scratching your rims, but they also won't show proof that they didn't do it unless you have a subpoena.what a joke.AND STAY AWAY FROM DOMINIC AND DANIEL. They won't even bother to get back to you or answer when you reach out for questions.

They do a fine job once you get service. They re understaffed be prepared to wait weeks to make an appointment and once you get in to drop off your vehicle be prepared to wait in line for 30 minutes. The staff behind the desk seem to have no concern that there is a line going out the door .Oh and be prepared to wait longer than anticipated. 2 hours to rotate 4 tires?!

Very slow flat tire fix service I have experienced so far. I had an appointment and went to the service. Dropped the car at least 15 min earlier than my appointment. Took it back 1 hour and 22 min later from the start time of my appointment. The good thing is the stuff is very polite. I had another tire service before other Costco centers and I had better experience even though I did not have appointment.

Had a leak in tire, drop off car there, fix for non Costco tires is $10.99. Tire was fixed and ready 2 hrs later. Love Costco due to no BS clear pricing on tires. Gone to dealer or other tire shop feels like never know what fee they add on until last minute. Costco always clear on price, straight on service and honest on warranty. Strongly recommend.

I had a flat tire and walked in less than 2 hours before the tire center was closed today. Tony and the supervisor was very helpful. They managed to repair the tire at the last minute. I really appreciate their help.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE INACCURATE RATING, it should be MUCH MUCH lower.Keep in mind most positive ratings are from YEARS ago and don t properly reflect how much its service has deteriorated. Plus, it was probably a promotional offer for a discount since they're solely ratings and not reviews. In addition, I want to point out (as of now) there are 20 legit ratings/reviews, and 10 of them are complaints. Ill let you do the math for its customer satisfaction rate. This location is in very desperate need of better customer service, especially Daniel who s service was subpar at best, who s attitude was rude and disrespectful, who s behavior was unprofessional and lackadaisical. I strongly suggest that you re-evaluate this guy as far as his qualifications for sales representative. The saving grace at this location was his supervisor, Ian, who was sharp, on point, kind and extremely helpful with his explanations. Had it not been for him, I would give this 0 star if I could.Final verdict: if you re gonna have your tires done, feel free to take it to Costco, just avoid this location if you value quality work within the promised time frame.

I have a love/hate relationship with Costco and this is another reason why. I normally go to America s Tire Co for tires but was in a pinch and couldn t wait for an appointment. The prices at Costco were great, of course! I was told it d be 3 hrs (kinda long but ok). I called 3 hrs later and was told it d be another hr (car hadn t even been looked at yet). Then, at 7pm, I received a call letting me know that one of the lug nuts was on too tight and they didn t want to damage my key or hub. After reading some of the other reviews, I m glad I didn t insist on having them pry it off. They replaced 3 tires and would have to come back the next day for the 4th. I was told I d have to take it to another shop with stronger guns/better tools and have them loosen the nut and then come back. The first place I took it to the following morning didn t want to touch the wheel so I went to a specialty shop. They had it off within minutes. I went back to Costco and had my tire installed within about an hr because they re just always so busy and don t have the necessary tools! (How??) There was at least one other person that was told their lug nuts were on too tight the day I dropped my car off too. I feel bad for the employees. The people that i talked to were professional and felt like they were actually trying to help, like they were fed up with giving people the same excuse.Long story short - I m gonna stick to America s Tire Co. next time and until things change, you should too.

Make an appointment! Husband made a Sunday 9am appt for my rotation and balance. I got there around 845 since it says arrive 15 minutes prior to appt. There were 8 people in line outside waiting for it to open. When they opened the doors they ask for the 9am appts to come to the front of the line. Appreciate the priority. Everyone was nice that helped me today. Appt took a little longer then I thought it would (1 hour 15 minutes) but you can walk around Costco and other stuff in the complex.

I had an appointment for a tire rotation. An hour and 15 minutes later was told they could not rotate my tires because they were worn (even though the back ones had plenty of tread). It took another 15 minutes to give me my car back. Proceeded to try and sell me tires that they had to order and come back later. No thanks!

They do not respond to phone calls and staff behind the counter does not care about your business and somewhat rude. Disgraceful at best. Take your business to other tire stores, this location is not worth your business.

Waste tons of time waiting in line to get the simplest thing done. Come to this place only if you care to save tiny amounts of money and don t mind wasting your time waiting in line. They are significantly understaffed.

You can feel that they don t want your business. They d try every excuse to send you away. Apparently their staff s compensation system has no incentive to up their customer service. You re off means less work for them with the same pay. Yes, you can feel it.

I got a tire puncture from a nail today. Brought my car in at 4:00 PM and even though they were busy they fixed it the same day.

The worst service ever. They just wasted my time. I have a 2006 nissan 350z I went there to replace the tires but they didn't do that because of the original rims are 18" but mine came with 17" (Nissan chrome OEM ) rims ( size of the rims changed in 2006 form 17" to 18" ). I talked to the manager and he said "we can go with same size that is recommended on the sticker on your doorstep. Your car is 2006 but it has 2005 stock wheels and we cannot do it for you." I don't recommend anyone to go to this place for tires.
