The actual tire guys were polite and friendly, but Costco itself lacked customer service. They say when you order your tires that it'll be 5-10 business days after your order for them to arrive, and they'll give you a call or email to let you know the tires arrive at the shop.I ordered on 3/7. They said the tires shipped on 3/10. I thought I was more than patient and didn't call them until 4/4--almost 20 business days had passed with no word. They called Michelin to see where my tires were. The next day they called me back and said my tires were delivered 4 or 5 days before I called.

Very long waiting time even with appointment. Usually take 3 hours plus to have tire rotation and balances. Their warranty also went down severely when Costco switching their employee bonus to warranty paid out. They tried their hardest to not honor their tire warranty. I witnessed their employee mentioned to a customer that they need to have their tire aligned every six months in addition to following the tire rotation schedule to receive the warranty.

I don't typically write reviews, but the service here was amazing! Special shout out to Daniel, Chris and Johnny. I called the previous day asking for tires for a walk-in as it was urgent, and they precisely told me how I could get it done. Walked in early on a Saturday morning, they got me my tires. Although they said 7pm, it was ready by noon. Spare tire neatly put back, and an extra neatly packaged in a bag. I had a small issue with one of the installed tires, and they happily accommodated my request. Totally 5 star experience!

I had a tire installation appointment for 10:00 am and was told it would take about two hours. My partner and I went shopping in the mean time and came back at 11:45 am to check on the status, and they had just started. They didn't finish until 1 pm. If you're getting something done here, I suggest you drop off your car with someone else so that you're not stuck waiting around for hours for what should be a relatively short process. The staff were nice though and apologized for the delay.Updating the review. One of my tires that I had purchased through Costco this year had popped and the folks at the shop were nice enough to give me a replacement for free since it was under warranty. They worked with me to make sure I would have a replacement tire this week so I could get back to my regular work schedule. I purchased a tire before the install to make sure they did not sell out, and was reimbursed after the tire install. They let me do a walk in appointment on a Sunday. Walk in spots are first come first serve and are limited, so do get there before the shop opens to get in line if you need to do that.

One of the worst Costco tire centers ever.made an appointment, arrived at 10 am, and the job was done at 12:50 pm. Right, The young white guy spent 3 hours on a Tesla Model Y tire leak fix. and he left at 12:30 pm without putting the wheel cover back. The salesman had to do it by himself for me. This guy even put a wrong tire cap back on, Where is my original Tesla cap??!!I watched the whole process outside the shop, for 3 hours, the other short girl, working on another car, broke the chain when back the car out of the shop, since she didn't check the back. so dangerous, if the chain was a metal one, the car and the shop door would be damaged.this is a slow shop with a lot of customers, everything everyone so slow, I will never use this shop again.

Automated Tire inflation pumps. Located on far end next to Tire Center; not near gas pumps. Two stalls to park your car in - any which way; heads in or tail in and coiled air pump cord will reach all four tires easily. Simple to use; just increase or decrease desired PSI value to inflate tire. Car tire pressure is typically around 32-35 PSI and can be found on the car s inside door handle. Connect it to your tire valve and the machine will display tire current pressure value and will automatically pump additional air to desired pressure. An audible sound will tell you that it reaches the desired pressure so there s no need to look at the screen. Area is well lit and safe and away from heavy traffic.

Dropped off a tire (not the whole car...just the tire) for a simple in-warranty puncture repair through the tread at around 6 pm. After inspecting the tire, the technician explained they were short on technicians and would do their best to patch it by the end of the day and would call when it was ready. No call that night...not a problem since it wasn't a guarantee. Waited until the store had been open for an hour before calling, but the technician who answered said "we have walk-ins" in front of you! I got the feeling that not being in the store meant that every new walk in was "in front of you." Drove to the tire center and found the lobby empty (good news, right?). Spoke to the technician and got a "let me speak to the manager". Tech came back and said "our promise is to fix it by 7 pm." He confirmed that the repair is a 5-minute job but that I was behind all of the customers with scheduled appointments. Very simple job given that I removed the tire and will put it back on for Costco. No appreciation that I am saving them the time and effort of having to bring the car into the shop, put it on a lift, remove it, reinstall and retorque the lugs. Any other shop would fit this request in within an hour. Town Fair Tire will fix tire punctures for free for anyone regardless of where you bought it, but I believe that Costco should honor their warranty. I also assumed that they would take less than two days to do it.

Came at 8:30AM for a walk-in appointment. Told to come back at 6AM. Then I came to wait from 5:30-6:30AM, and no one would open door. Went home frustrating.

So when I ordered my tires from here I scheduled my appointment right away for the installation. The confirmation email said that they were gonna call to remind me of the appointment, which they never did. I guess that should have been my first clue. So I showed up to my appointment and when I arrived they checked me in and everything and they told me that they were going to call me when my car was ready. So I went into the Costco just to waste time so I wasn't just waiting outside. They said it was going to be ready within 2 hours and they were going to call me. They never called me, so after waiting a lot longer than I was suppose to I went in and asked and it turns out it has been ready for over an hour.

I got there at 7:15 ON A SATURDAY to get my tires rotated. I waited 30+ minutes in line. I asked how long to get my tires rotated. At least 4.5 hours. I just don't get what they expect of people. I told them maybe let customers in line know how long the wait time is as you serve others so they don't wait 30 minutes and realize this is gonna be an impossible wait. It's just really unacceptable. Of all the things Costco does well, it's not the tire center. I've had this experience at at least 3 Costco's

Worst customer service I have ever EXPERIENCED when it came to tire centers. I called to book an appointment to buy new tires for my vehicle. The guy on the phone was rude and impatient asking me questions that no one had ever asked me before. All I wanted were the original size tires for my car. He gave me hard time and wanted me to find out every little detail of the tire (the info is easy to find out if they do their RESEARCH online). Got a call to confirm the appointment. I showed up that the day of the appointment only to hear that made a mistake with the appointment date and there wasn't anything they could do about it. I took day off work just to hear that they made a mistake booking the appointment. So they did take me in as a walk-in but gave me attitude working me in. Finally the called me when they were closing and returned my vehicle. I opened the passenger door and noticed the plastic panel on the side was broken and just left it like that. Totally unprofessional, not clean, bad customer service. Unsatisfied with this tire center.

APPOINTMENT ONLY. Website says tire centers should take walk-ins as well. Had a puncture in tire and already had the tire removed and they still would not plug it without an appointment. Ridiculous. Saw them turn away another person because they "only repair michelin, bridgestone, and perelli tires." As if tire punctures are predictable.Costco tire center in NJ were able to plug another one of our tires with no issue... They were just as busy, didn't care what brand, and took care of our emergency within an few hours wait.If you want to get tires, ORDER ONLINE and MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. Person at the desk might as well be a statue. If you order tires in person, you won't even get a tracking number. When the tires arrive they wont install without an appointment so you just gotta guess...

Costco needs to evaluate the tire department - there is no sense of reasonable management at all. Brought the car in to remove one nail on 1/5/23 around noon but was send home due to no appointment and was told to come back today 1/6/23 early at 8:30AM. Still didn't get it done by 6:45PM. For one nail, you would have think the managers/supervisors would have allocate the time for the tech to be done with. Like other review, I would have given a 0 instead of one star. Don't ask me about did I make the appointment - who would know when they will have a nail in the tire that they can make the appointment for! In the real world, the managers/supervisors at this place would have been fired! This is what you mean customer satisfactor - wasted one and half day waiting to fix one nail. For sure I will not stopping by for any new tires or related issues at this place.

I went for tire installation and it took them over 3 hours. They never notified me when it was done. I had requested them to mount one of the existing tires that was new to be mounted as spare tire but they forgot to do it. Then I had to wait for 2 more hours to have the spare tire mounted. The front desk guy was rude and I observed that they were treating the female customers rudely. I will never go this center again even for the tire rotation which is supposed to be free when you buy and install tires in Costco.

I ordered 4 tires at their shop a 3 weeks ago and they have still not come yet. They were supposed to come in a week but the people there have not given me a call or any updates. When I call them nobody answers and i have to wait for a very long time. When I finally got the tires done, they said they would call me to pick my car up but nobody ended up calling so I had to go get it on my own.

If I could rate my experience at this place as a zero I would, but it doesn t give me that option. About two months ago I purchased two tires from this location. Within a month one tire had a nail that caused a leak. Another two weeks later the other tire had a hole in it that was unsafe to fix. I tried to take my car in for the necessary repairs but they couldn t fix it that day and I needed to either drop off my car all day and miss out on working the next day or make an appointment. My car doesn t have a spare tire, so I had to make a temporary fix just to make it drivable until I could go for my appointment. The tire repair facility staff were extremely rude and did not know how to communicate. They took my car to evaluate the tires for damage. After waiting for over four hours they told me that my warranty was voided because of the necessary repairs. Even though I had explained the whole situation to them they ended up waisting almost an entire day of my time only to tell me that my almost two month tires would need to both be replaced with brand new ones. What is the point of a warranty if they cannot make time for emergency tire repair services and if you have to make do until they have time for you only to take my time and want more money for barely used tires?

Costco Tire Center was great! We were able to order our tires, receive an email when they were ready to install and make an installation appointment, all online. We went to our appointment and they installed our tires in the same amount of time it took us to shop. It worked out perfectly! The staff/guys were professional and courteous and we would recommend the Tire Center. Thanks!

They always take good care of you.Come early for drop-in as they get a lot of customers. It also seems they changed their hours to 8am. But you can also book an appointment online.

Make an appointment for my new tire installation at 10am and not started by 1145 am, took discussion with Costco management to get this addressed. Maybe they fix this horrific service for you , maybe not. I would recommend to go elsewhere

Making an appointment for a tire change and showing up early will get you a 4.5 hour wait to get your tires replaced. Service at the counter was slightly faster. You're not paying the price for a Nascar pit stop speed here though my guy. Expectations expectations expectations.

While we all love Costco and it s services, Costco Tire Center unfortunately has horrible customer service. I m not sure if it s this particular location but the service here was unacceptable. If you have a flat tire and walk-in, good luck with that. 6 to 8 hours wait. If you call, it s always long wait because theres only person taking care of in store customers and calls. Costco tire warranty is great idea but execution is beyond unsatisfactory. Unless you ve an appointment, this place is not worth going. I ve filed a complaint with the general manager and I m yet to hear if my voice will be heard.

Shady business! Yesterday I called Costco Tire Center in Senter Road to book an appointment for tire rotation and the guy said that came in for an appointment at 8:00am. They are not even open until 8:30am and when I came in, the same guy who was on the phone told me there wasn t any appointment booked at 8:00am and only accepting 4 persons limits walk-in which filled right when they are open. It s a big issue that their front desk service is not professional and it need to be change!

NEVER COMING BACK. Extremely bad service, I can t stress this enough. There was two employees which were having a conversation the whole time while helping a SINGLE person while there were easily over 10 people waiting. And after 10 minutes of conversating, one of them leaves for lunch. Waiting in line for 30+ minutes so they can tell me that they re NOT servicing anymore cars for the rest of the day, the least you can do is let everyone in line know this so we wouldn t waste our time. Costco needs to work on the tire center service for future customers because they lost one.

I Love Costco, but this Tire Center has a very bad customer service,Today I was waiting in line. I was the next person but a security interfered. he was convinced since others were here to only get their cars, they can pass me, in few minuets the room was full of 6 new people who were supposed to wait outside, specially in COVID time. He only wanted to do a favor to one of the ladies he new by passing me and giving my place to her! I was shocked that a security could interfered with the line, he literally brought cause, nobody was in line after what he did

Terrible wait. I made an appointment (after waiting for 10 days) and dropped my car off at 4 PM. I don't think they did anything till 6 pm. Nobody warned or mentioned anything about the wait. At 6 15 they started the installation, done after 35 or 40 mins but acted as if they were working on it for a while (because I could see the old tires still on, then after I walked to the back and peeked I saw the car now was pulled up with no tires). Why would a person make an appointment then have to wait for 3 hours for tire installation...THREE HOURS ? That's worse than walk-in.

I got all the 4 tires replaced twice within 2-3 years of installation here(less than 30k miles). When I walked in they said can't honor warranty as there is no proof of alignment, called the place where I got it done and fortunately they could re-print the receipt after 2-3 years. Warranty is a hoax, they said tires have very little thread so I would get only 70$ back. Not sure what the 80k warranty is for if it is not honored for losing threading at 30-40k.

I came in around 8:45 am because they change the time from 7:00 to 9:00 and I talk to Johnny Liem and he told me that without appt. it will take about 10 hrs just to rotate my tires. That's bad and you need an appointment now just to go to tire center and Costco never let their members know about it. So I register for an appointment next Saturday but this is bad for business especially for working members who come to the tire center as a walk-in and got the same response from what I got from Johnny. I hope upper management of Costco is listening.

Terrible customer service, slow workers, and no sense of urgency. Came in for a new battery but had to wait over an hour in line because the workers wanted to take their time helping the 4 people in front of me. When I get to the front the worker thats supposed to help me, his name is Johnny, gives me attitude and tries to rush me out like he doesn't want me there. I would go buy a battery or tires somewhere else. If I could give zero stars I would. He needs to be taught what customer service is and told to be more respectful to the people that he helps out.

Great service. Had two guys checking people in rather than the usual one at other Costcos. My walk in flat repair was taken care of in a reasonable time

Incredibly bad customer service. Called to see if my car was ready and was put on a 10-minute hold while having to listen to their repetitive advertising. Then they took the phone off the hook and laid it on the counter so they could better ignore me. THIS IS NORMAL FOIR THEM. Here's how to get their low price without having to deal with them - call them and get a price on the tires you want. Then call any other dealer and tell them the price Costco offered. They will match it. THIS IS NOTY THE WORST OF IT - I was quoted a price by 2 separate people the day before I went in - they said they had the tires I wanted and would hold them for me. When I went in they said the tires I wanted were unavailable, were being discontinued, and I'd have to pay $20 more per tire for their replacement. Having gone to all the trouble to get there and wait in line, I took the bait and switch. NEVER AGAIN!
