I just got a 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid from Capital Toyota, and Le Nguyen was a big help. She knows a lot about cars and was super helpful while I was picking one out. If you're looking for a new car, I definitely suggest talking to her. She knows her stuff and makes sure you get a fair deal. Plus, she's always friendly and smiling, which makes buying a car even more fun

I had a "great" buying experience, but days later... a BIG disappointment. I bought a 2013 Prius with 102,000 miles from a great professional (I understand that these problems are not his fault). Unfortunately, a day after the purchase the car started making noises and I took it to my personal mechanic. I went back to the store and explained what my mechanic had said, including showing the photo (attached) of the shock absorbers that were the cause of the noise. Another cause of the noise was the poorly installed catalytic converter protection. We tried to talk and negotiate the 'repair' considering the "security" of having bought from Capital Toyota and a safe pre-sales inspection. The car arrived at the store on Saturday and the salesman informed me the same day. On the Monday we went and bought it, the car wasn't completely clean, the seats and carpet were wet, meaning they were really finalizing the process to make it available for sale. After all that, in short, the answer was: "you bought an old car and that's normal". Apart from the personal frustration and, obviously, with the company, I felt diminished for not having bought new. The feeling is: "oh, if you buy a new car we'll give you all the best, but if you can't afford it, take the car anyway". I went from buying a Honda in San Bruno, a car of the same year with 30,000 fewer miles and $1k cheaper, to buying at Capital Toyota because it was a "prestigious and trustworthy" store. The car was delivered dirty and still wet, even though I said I could pick it up another day so they could finish the whole inspection process (since the car had only just arrived). Well, I say, BE CAREFUL! Pay attention BEFORE you buy, if it's an old or used car, because after everything is done, the service is very different from the initial one. Frustrated and disappointed. I will never do business with this store again, nor would I recommend it! Except if you can buy a brand new car without any problems!

Thank you Sergio from Sales & Sabrina from the Finance department! My 2022 toyota corolla. The seats are SO comfortable especially the way it is shaped for your back. Fell in love immediately when I saw it. Originally went in for a 2024 camry but left happily with this. They were so very helpful, kind and explained everything perfectly. I figured out apple car play on my own too. The car did have a bad battery I noticed as soon as we test drove it it didn t start the next day I had a gut feeling so I went back to the same dealership & they gave me a new battery free of any charge , tire rotation while checking everything else. I am in love with my car it drives smoothly has pretty much all of the same features etc. tinted the windows and adding more inside. Approved august 30/31st walked out the same night. Smooth ride with great features. The perfect sporty look which you cannot see so much from the side in my pictures. Thank you again. Highly recommend this dealership

Best service experience of my life! Advisor was super friendly and knowledgeable. Prices were much lower than 3 other small shops in the area who quoted the same job. Beautiful new store and waiting area with free coffee. Highly recommend!

Purchased a Corolla Cross hybrid from Kenya last week. Top-notch car buying experience. No high pressure sales tactics or extraneous information. I gave Kenya my parameters and she suggested the Corolla Cross, a car I had not considered and it was a perfect match for our needs! Kenya was very professional and engaging and I really appreciated her taking the time to test drive the car and explain all of the safety features to my daughter. Sam in finance office was also terrific to work with, very streamlined process. I was in and out with a new car in under two hours. Highly recommend.

Scheduled a service appointment ahead of time. Service appointment was for 7:30AM Saturday. Thought I'd be able to just walk in and drop off the car.Nope. Turns out like ~30+ other people also had appointments for the same time and you have to wait in line to just be able to drop it off.It's efficient for them. Not efficient for the customer.

Bad service. Toyota sent me second key program notification for the car I purchased via Capitol. I made four attempts with no response to get the second one. It looks like this service does not exist. Look somewhere else for a good service. For my other car they broke the hood cover and left no caps on the tires they replaced. The tires were left dirty. The tires they suggested do not keep pressure. It is unusual that tires now require pressure adjustments every two months, something I had never experienced before.In one word, this is not good service to use.

Bought a new Prius! Very nice, knowledgeable salesmen. Wasn't planning on buying that day. Just looking. Then they brought out a beautiful new blue 2023 Prius that had been returned. The paperwork was horrendous but I love this hybrid! All the people I encountered were courteous and helpful.

Do Not Buy At Capitol Toyota!! We went to go buy a new car, and Ross Hernandez one of the sales managers was a complete A-hole.. He pretty much kicked me out for refusing to give them a down payment.. I highly recommend Fremont Toyota! We had a great experience today and were able to buy the new car .

Called on a Wednesday to set an appointment for Sunday afternoon test drive. Was told to call back on Saturday afternoon to firm up appointment and verify wich i did wit Maricel Abinsey and agreed on 1200 appointment. So i drive out an hour and a half to the dealership on sunday after confirming again that day for the apointment, she talks with me and then sends out her sales maneger to tell me that they had already sold it the day before. THEN WHY DIDNT YOU SAY THAT THE TWO TIMES I CALLED TO CONFIRM! Thanks for nothing maricel!

This review is for the service department. So friendly and not pushy to sell services. Will continue to come here for car service over other Toyota service locations ! Not only that, they are so quick to work on our cars!! A oil change took about 45 mins. That would never happen at Stevens Creek.The waiting area is large and spacious. They have outlets for charging and a coffee machine that makes lattes and mochas!

Very bad experience so far...Brought my car there for transmission checking and instead of labour working on it, they just used a scanner tool that I even have many kinds of these tools and ended up charged me 225$ on that and provided a quote of nearly 7000$$$ to replace a new one even the car still can run normally to there for service which i've believed that only some minor issue/electrical issue related. Never ever bring your car to here if it supposed to be on warranty service, Or they will try to charged you as much as they can.

My experience here at Capitol Toyota is by far the best.. I went to every dealership to trade in my Toyota sequoia for another that would be much more affordable for me but every single place said no I was feeling very sad but luckily, I met a team of great guys to help me. A huge shout out to Ali, Bailey and Bruce for making this difficult time I had happen and helped me from start to finish :)

Omar and Sergio were incredibly friendly and helpful. Even though we didn't end up buying a car from this dealership, they still helped us secure the best deal possible, and Sergio answered all of our (pestering) questions. If you're looking for a new/used Toyota for a good price, this is definitely the place to go!

Quick service department. Customer friendly service agents. The customer waiting area is large and lots of seating to work remotely while your car is being serviced. WiFi is decent and works with VPN, didn't drop any of my video conference calls.

I had such a great experience at this dealership. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Govanni helped me to find the right car and answered so many questions and Mark helped in financing. I visited 3 other Bay Area dealerships in the car buying process, and Capitol Toyota was far and away the best experience I had. They took care of me from the first phone call, all the way through the process!

I had excellent customer service from Gio and Arleen at this dealership. I ve been a client of Toyota service center for a few years now and went to Capitol Toyota to help my mom buy a car. Gia was so helpful on the sales floor. He made the process very comfortable and did not pressure us with anything. He explained explained all the features of the car and gave us a great deal. Arlene was great in the finance department as well. She was very informative, helpful and was overall, a nice person to work with. I highly recommend this dealership. I ve had positive experience with them in service and sales.

Bait and switch. I was shopping for parts online and capital Toyota popped up with an incredible deal. I called the dealership to make sure the part was in stock and to my surprise it was! However the price on the site was $20 cheaper than what I was quoted if I picked up the part in person. That doesn t make any sense. I asked the person why this was and he said in order for me to get the online price, I d have to purchase it online and have it delivered to my house which would take a week. Very disappointed, oh well I ll just purchase it elsewhere

We bought a new Rav4 on September 3 , and Tiffany Ly told us the we were getting 2 keys and after we singed all the papers she only gave us 1 key, she said they will call us because they didn't know were the second key where at? Later we found out the they didn't have a second key. They told me the there was a shortage on chips and the they will contact me ones they have my second key ready, it is been more than 3 months and no second key. Very dishonest dealer. I would not mind if I was told the truth before buying the car . Please at least be honest to your costumers.

Highly recommend going to Bao Le for an amazing and smooth car buying experience! This was my family's first time buying a Toyota and we are very pleased. Bao is the best car salesperson my family has ever worked with--his customer service is like no other. He took his time answering all the questions we had and was very thorough when explaining all the features of the cars. He was also very patient and understanding with us during our decision making. Bao went above and beyond to get us an amazing deal on our GR 86. We also worked with Jorge towards the end and he was very nice and welcoming. My dad was charge $260 for pull code check engine light. Service department is a biggest rip off. Stay away if you value your money. Also stay away from this service advisor name : Jay nomura, very rude and disturbing disrespectful. Overall very disappointed experienced.

My parents purchased a RAV4 here a few days ago and they told me the salesman accidentally overcharged them by $1100 before they caught his mistake. Then he got upset and walked out the room when they rejected a 5 year extended warranty that s actually only 2 more years. They are loyal Toyota customers this is their 4th brand new vehicle purchased at this dealer they aren t seeking any special treatment. It s very upsetting feeling like they were disrespected over a salesman s feelings getting hurt for not making his sales. 25 years Toyota customers should be treated just a tad better.

Always fast and honest; the waiting room couldn't be better! Love this place.I just bought a Sequoia here on 5 July 2021 and was incredibly happy with the customer service. Jimmy Khau was personable and worked a fair deal on a car that is hard to find. He even helped get the car ready with little notice. They got the car off the truck the same day and Jimmy made sure it was standing by ready to test drive and purchase just a few hours later.We couldn't be happier! Also I always look forward to seeing the smiling face and wonderful service from Chrimcenroe Vaiet, he is awesome!

I went to get service for my terminal issues then they were telling me to change my outdated timing belt which i just changed not too long ago i know service people can trick customers to get more money but man I m just disappointed.. John Kim the service advisor, good luck with your work.

I just can't say enough about CAPITOL TOYOTA in San Jose. I contacted over 20 other Toyota dealers in the Bay Area, Central Valley, Northern California, and Southern California. I even contacted a Toyota dealer in Nebraska who sold me my 2021 Tacoma last year. No one would help me buy a Camry LE at a decent price. All of them were asking thousands above MSRP. Not just one or two thousand, but many thousands more. Finally, burnt out and totally frustrated we wandered over to CAPITOL TOYOTA in a last-ditch effort to see what they could do. We had NO expectation of buying a car that day, none at all. I didn't even bring my checkbook. Carolina Ocampo (sales) and Ross Hernandez (sales manager) went out of their way to sell me a brand new 2023 Camry SE, the car we really wanted at a truly great price. They took a grumpy, old guy with a bad attitude, my bad, and made his day by treating him so nicely and then selling him a great car at a great price. I don't know what more I can say. CAPITOL TOYOTA and their great people did what 20 other "lesser" Toyota dealers could not do, they made us a great deal and sold us a great car that we will have for years to come! Thanks, Carolina and Ross, you folks both ROCK! I am truly glad I met you both on that day. Seriously though, I give CAPITOL TOYOTA 5/5 Stars! They are the GREATEST!!!
