This was my first time getting service at Capitol Subaru as I usually try to avoid dealerships due to the cost, however, service advisor Josh had (by FAR!) the best customer service I have received from any shop in SJ. To the point that I will keep using them simply because he made it such an easy and unexpectedly pleasant experience. Josh was polite, professional, communicated *proactively* for the duration of my car s repair. This included calls, emails, and texts as needed - with pictures, videos, notes from the technicians, and an empathetic understanding of my urgent need to get the car up and running. He went out of his way to ensure that my car s issues were addressed and resolved quickly, gave advice on when to best schedule, provided follow-up recommendations, and explained everything that was happening and needed in a manner which I could understand.While I m sure Josh s professionalism is a positive reflection of the entire service staff, Capitol Subaru will now be my primary service center specifically due to his excellent customer service.The service work itself appears top notch, no complaints and the problem I brought my car in for was diagnosed and fixed as fast as I had hoped for. Given the customer service I received and the technician s detailed diagnostic notes, I am confident that they were similarly high performing. Beyond that I m sure I would have glowing things to say, however, as is typical for a dealership set-up I did not have any direct interaction with the technician themself.Thank you.

Service Rep Matthew Ta was extremely helpful with my 60K service to my 2017 Outback. Matt heard my personal needs to make a service date possible and assisted me with maintaining my personal goals so I was not burdened in the customer waiting area all day. The service options to my vehicle were explained and I selected a performance package that exceeded my expectations. Upon driving my vehicle for a few days, my wife also experienced gained performance and we are both extremely satisfied with Capital Subaru Customer and Vehicle Maintenance service.Whatever negative service comments I have heard are now dispelled about dealership service. Rising cost-solutions are worked out in service options provided to keep your Subaru in best operating condition.

I was overdue for a service, and I had my daughter a few months ago and so it slipped my mind. I made the appointment online and it was so easy to book the appointment. They had a lot of times available, as a busy mom, the more time I can choose from the better.I came a little earlier than 10:15am, and Andy greeted me upon arrival. Andy was professional, and nice. Andy answered all of my questions and kept me well informed on when my vehicle was finished. I liked the new feature where you receive a text with an update on your vehicle and they attached a video showing how the inspection was going.Great customer service, I would be recommending this location to all of my friends and family.

Overall I had a great experience, I ve taken my Outback to Capitol Subaru since I ve had it in 2018. All my interactions have always been great. Very friendly staff. Everyone is always professional, knowledgeable and approachable.My most recent service done this weekend 3/9/24 with Anthony Corral was 10/10.He was very professional and thorough with details and guidance over additional services when my vehicle needed it.

I was helped out by Tyler, who did a phenomenal job! Initially, I took in my car for regular maintenance. I had to leave my car at the dealership for a few days as there was an oil leak in the upper gasket. A few days later, after I picked up my car, the oil level light went off as I was driving home, so Tyler asked me to bring it in again to make sure everything was okay. I brought it in again to which they found that the oil sensor needed to be replaced. I was told that they would need my car to be left at the dealership for a few days again.Tyler was really kind and flexible to make the process easy. He deserves 5-stars for customer service. He went above and beyond to ensure that my car would be driven around and kept on longer to see if any other lights would pop up. He ensured that I would have a complimentary service at my 54k maintenance when I did not even ask for the compensation. If this does not say 5-stars then I don't know what does. Additionally, he went the extra mile to ensure my car gas tank was filled up for when I would ultimately pick it up today.Thank you Tyler and Capitol Subaru for your excellent service in caring for me and my car.

Brought my Tahoe in there for Steering gearbox replacement. Already know these guys are masters of all things Subaru but they were quite capable of getting this work done efficiently, Eddie knows Chevy very well. Miguel and Tony manage the service team with excellent. Josh is great- and Kyle helped in ordering the parts quickly. Thank you guys!

Anthony helped me and he was fantastic! This was one of the best experiences I have had at any service center for any car I have had.I was seen on time and was given a window that things would be completed and it was correct. I didn t have time to get an I didn t have time to get a car wash or get tires, balanced and rotated this visit, but Anthony was very understanding and offered for me to come back for the car wash if I needed later that day. Small things like that go a long way. Anthony is a huge asset to your service department.Thanks for all your help!

I have owned my Subaru Outback for over six years and have had it serviced at Capitol Subaru numerous times. Yesterday, I dropped in without an appointment. Jeff assisted me, recorded all the service items, and returned my car within the estimated time. I also received a detailed status report, highlighting areas that require attention and offering valuable suggestions. The service is trustworthy.

We took our new 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness for its 6000 mile oil change. We were met by the service advisor where we were directed to a cosy waiting area with free coffee/tea and snacks. He answered all of our concerns and explained it would take about 1 1/2 hours. We had a number to text if we needed an update. We felt well cared for and heard. Best oil change experience ever !

Good service, nice people, good coffee machine, good Wi-Fi, nice lounge area. Got to listen in of some of the phone calls between the service coordinators and customers, and I was very impressed by their honesty, diligence, and professionalism. Only minus: not the quickest service - oil change and wheel alignment took 3 hours. But better too slow than too fast...

I have owned my Subaru Cross Trek for almost 8 years. I love my car and I have gotten wonderful service from Capitol Subaru. They are always kind and courteous and they perform excellent mechanical work in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. I trust them whole heartily. Miguel Villa has assisted me several times and is always a pleasure to work with.

Josh and the service crew at Capitol Subaru did a great job! They got me in and out seamlessly on a busy day. They even made extra time to inspect and take care of a rattling noise that was coming from my front passenger door. I would highly recommend getting your Subaru serviced @ Capitol Subaru!

Tyler was very helpful when I brought my car in last week. He was quick to call me whenever there was an update on the status for my car. I ve gone to Capital Subaru a few times now so this review is long overdue. My service advisor has been Anthony Corral and he is great. Anthony keeps me informed, is really friendly, knows my car and goes above and beyond to do his job. I ve had my car since 2016 so I ve seen a fair share of advisors but moving forward, I ll be taking it to Capitol. Thank you Anthony and Miguel Villa, the service manager, for what you guys do. It s very much appreciated.

Worked with Jeff, who is a great advisor. Brake job got done quickly and didn't come with a lot of up selling. They did find a light bulb out, which I normally do myself but this one was very difficult to replace so I let them do it for a nominal amount.

Josh, at Capitol Subaru was Awesome, from start to finish! He was professional, quick, and very friendly, and I received a text earlier than expected that my car was ready. Josh is my service tech every time. He s understanding and takes the time to explain what the issue is with your vehicle. He drew me a diagram of my engine and what my problem was so I could fully understand what needed to be done to fix the issue and understand the cost associated with it. He truly cares about his customers and ensures they understand exactly what s happening to their vehicle. 5/5 recommend

I've brought in my 22 BRZ several times to CAP SUBARU. Was easy to schedule an appointment. They get me in and out. I've received excellent service each and every time. Big thanks to Miguel and his team... Anthony (who helped with tail light recall). And Tyler (helped with several maintance appointments). Great customer service.

I'm not one to write reviews, but this time was different. Andy was my service adviser, and he went above and beyond. His customer service skills were top-notch, and he constantly communicated with me about the work happening on my car. That was some of the best service I've gotten from Capitol Subaru in a long time.

Been going here since I got my 22 wrx and even after using all my included service plan I continue to go there. They keep it professional straight and to the point. If its not broken dont fix it. And they're fast and do a good service. I called them late afternoon on a Thursday for oil change before I had to leave to LA unexpectedly and they had me out there before it got dark and even washed it for me. And they have great coffee machine too plus check out all the new subies. As for the car now, it's a beast on a leash. But don't let it get away from you.

The staff is friendly and professional, I typically receive prompt service, and most additional repairs are predicted before the maintenance starts rather than me being surprised by them. I was serviced by Tyler for my 60k and he helped make the experience a positive one

Capitol Subaru took great care of me on a visit for an oil change. I also let them know of the issue I was having with the cowl trim on my windshield. They replaced it under warranty. Will be back for future service needs.

Anthony is wonderful with helping me when I come to Capital Subaru. This time he set up my extended warranty for me to be able to use and saved me many hundreds of dollars. I purchased the extended warranty when I bought the car but had never set it up.The mechanics that worked on my car are very efficient and fast. They have always been able to get the work done while I wait for the car. I always bring something to work on or to read and the time goes very fast.

I absolutely love Capitol Subaru. I live in San Francisco and drive to San Jose for this Service Department. Josh B. is the best. The entire staff deserves recognition, they are awesome, lobby is clean and has many amenities to enjoy while you are waiting. This is hands down the best Service Department!

huge shoutout to tyler for assisting me during my recent visit! i brought in my wrx for a tire issue and a small request about my cars badging. despite it being a minor problem, tyler was on it first thing in the morning and kept me updated throughout the day on the progress. he even made it convenient for me to pick up my car after hours with sales. once i picked up my car, i was surprised to see a clean car and interior. i ve never had a service rep show that level of attention and care before. he really went above and beyond, and i gotta give him props for raising the bar.
